First of all when a customer ask for basic food preference because someone wants vegetables vs beef you should not argue and accommodate the regular. Last I checked beef is more expensive then vegetables like broccoli and carrots. Thus saving you money on overall expenses. Your employees attitude I could have walked out but decide to try you out because your local. I was in town and looking for a quick bite near the Anaheim convention center! Found this hidden gem in the middle of the town center near by and decided to try it. I was doing an Uber eats pickup and as I was waiting for my order there were two young girls working the front. One was working to go orders and the other was cleaning the food warming table. She used a white cloth to clean the table and then I watched her used the exact same cloth to wipe the outside of someone's soup container to clean it off. She then packaged the soup for a to-go order! Will not be eating here! read more

The food here has improved dramatic since the change in ownership. The restaurant is also very well lit up and clean. Chinese restaurants generally look depressing and sad but it looks very well maintained. The food is also delicious here, the house fried rice and chow mein are perfect. My favorite is the Kung pao chicken, I generally pick at only the chicken but I actually eat all the veggies that are included. Orange chicken is also very nice, the service was excellent as I came in to pick my order up but it wasn't ready, the person working the register came out of the restaurant to flag me down as my order was ready to go, you don't often get this type of service at other Asian places. This place used to have really good food and service. Now the food does not taste good and the two young ladies in the front are extremely rude. I ordered a two item combo with all fried rice.My meats were bourbon chicken and hot &spicy chicken.The fried rice was crunchy and the peas were flat out hard.The spicy chicken was dried up and the bourbon chicken didn't have any sauce on it. I Have given this place chance after chance In person and online whoever was working today at 6pm tuesday is incompetent. These workers don't know anything they always have to ask eachother, and they just stand around. the service lacks it's good and bad. They never give you sauces for your food, the drinks are watery. I asked for a little bit of boba and they filled up my cup half way. They treat customers how ever they want they are rude when one asks questions about the items. You pay for there homemade sauces and they don't give it to you. A waste of time and money. I will continue going to Panda Express instead. The employees here lack common sense and it has made the business go downhill. Horrible! Why did I take a chance on ordering from this place with only 2 reviews? Ordered orange chicken, mongolian beef, green beans, and cream cheese wontons. All three entrees were disgusting. After one taste, my wife and I will NOT eat it. The chicken entree had a very off-putting taste, I can only describe as musty or like mildew or moldy. The beef also had a slight moldy taste and had a burnt flavor. Green beans also had an off-putting burnt flavor. Really disgusting. The cream cheese wontons are extremely boring. Its just plain cream cheese fried in a wonton. Most chinese places, at minimum, put scallions in the cream cheese. I am not even willing to give this place a 2nd chance. UPDATE:. Called manager to let him know how bad the food was. He was difficult to talk with on the phone. I had to keep repeating myself. Im not sure if he hung up on me or if the call got disconnected, but the call disconnected. read more

Honestly i'm NEVER one to leave reviews, i usually don't waste my time BUT this time i had to bring this up to either the kitchen or the customers. I recently ordered from the lantern garden late at night after getting out of work, i was tired and starving and i had a promo code on uber eats so i thought why not! i ordered the wonton soup with a double portion of wontons and the house chow mein as well as the milk tea. i got my order about an hour later still hot so that was good, i opened it up and noticed they failed to add my extra order of wontons. whatever right! so i'm about to start enjoying my food and i see something odd on some lettuce, i take it out/inspect it and decide i'm overthinking, it's just bundled up pepper or something. NOOOO! I unfortunately continued eating because i was so hungry and came across something else that definitely didn't belong in my soup. A small bug... It confirmed my doubts from before, so there was not only one BUT TWO bugs in my soup... and that was in the first maybeee five sips. to say the least i did not get to enjoy my meal, and was unfortunately left disgusted. i didn't eat anything because well honestly i was scared to find another crushed bug somewhere. I hate to be annoying honestly, but this was seriously annoying and not okay because this is a health concern and for $59 dollars i think i shouldn't have had to deal with this type of quality... i added some pictures of the bugs again i'm sorry but this doesn't belong in food. read more

We just moved to Anaheim and so glad we tried this place. I've been here more than 5 times in a month. I love their sesame chicken and potato chicken. The food is tasty and it doesn't give you the "too much oil" feel after eating it. The only confusion I had was, I usually order 2 items, but one time I was going to order the 3rd one (the tofu). I don't really like mixing the soupy dish in my dish, so I asked the guy if he can put it on separate container. I mean, all of the similar restaurant I went to, usually put 2 items on the container along with the rice/ noodle, then the 3rd one on the other small container. But he said no. I wasn't going to take a chance he's going to put the tofu on top of my sesame chicken and potato chicken, so I said no. Other than that, the food taste fresh, I come buy various times and will def come back. read more

Formerly China Wall in this plaza in Anaheim and before that a mongolian beef joint (I've been here for my whole life! 30 years+), this is the latest incarnation of the space. They serve mostly the same fare as China Wall did before it and is a lot more cleaned up with much of the same menu alongside some additions like chicken wings and a tea bar along the side. Employees are very nice and courteous and they had opened just at the start of the pandemic. Portions are very generous with their combos especially the 3 item combo! Honey shrimp along with a chicken dish is always a go to for me. However I LOVE their wings. They aren't mentioned on any of the digital menus inside but the szechuan/sichuan wings, soy garlic wings, and braised wings are quite good! Call ahead if you want them since it may take a while for them to get made but when you get them they are very lightly crispy and really great for the wait. Quite great! Other reviews I find probably did not know what they were looking for in this place which is basically a nice little steam table Chinese joint alongside some boba nowadays. Looking forward to some of their new meal additions I heard about like singapore noodles and other items! Been here about 5 times as well since it reopened but COVID made it so I came less since they opened up so I haven't had much of a chance to try newer things here. read more

I have been looking for tasty chinese food nearby and I will definitely return. I had a 2 item combo with rice and noodles. The orange chicken was just sweet enough and not excessive with the breading, the jalapeño chicken also tasty. Anyone who cooks with jalapeños knows that they're not all spicy, but the ones I had today were spicy and kept me going back for more. My rating is a 4, because some items did not look fresh. I was there at 2 so lunch rush was over. Can't wait to try some of the items that are cooked once ordered! read more

After a day having fun at Disneyland, we happened upon this restaurant located between Ross and the Burlington Coat Factory in Anaheim Plaza.
