    A House Favorite Stuffed Lumaconi
    Andrew R.

Came here for dinner after a day of skiing. I love the old school feel of this place, the vibe is cozy. The free bread was great, and the soup that comes with the main courses was amazing! For mains we got the Lumaconi and the Alfredo Mac and cheese. Both were pretty meh, and extremely overpriced for the quality. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things, but I wasn't the biggest fan. I would comeback and try some of the other dishes though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and dinner. After 21 years of living in the Reno Tahoe area this was our first time. After a late afternoon hike we wanted a new to us restaurant. We walked in around 6:30 and put our name on the list. We were seated around 20 minutes later. We sat in the bar and had a cocktail while waiting. No reservations are accepted although I've heard they may for larger groups. The minute I walked in I wondered why we waited so long to come here. What a great feel. So comfortable. Our meal was delicious. We both enjoyed the salad that came with the meal. It was huge and we added Gorgonzola. We gobbled it down. I had the chicken Marsala and my husband the house favorite lumaconi. We were stuffed and needed to go boxes. Wish we had room for dessert. Next time. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Can't wait to return!

I was craving pasta after being in the snow all day and this place got really good reviews so I wanted to try it . We got seated right away and the we ordered the stuff shells combo and it came with salad , and the house bread . Overall the food was good and very filling . The tiramisu was super yummy was well . The service was good the waiter made sure to check us constantly and made sure our drinks stayed refilled . The ambiance of the place was cute and it was very cozy .

    What's left of our Tiramisú!

This is a bustling Italian restaurant on the North Shore. Can't say it's worth going to. The one positive I found is they have an espresso machine, so at least your coffee is fresh. Our food was mediocre, service was decent, and cost was average.

A-okay is what it is. I feel like everyone's food was very standard American - Italian. My eggplant Parmesan was satisfying but can't say anything special about it. I suppose I can say that my daughter ate all of her plain pasta - so she might give it 4 stars. Very large portions and every dish comes with a side of spaghetti and meat sauce. I definitely didn't get to my pasta. Their house creamy Italian dressing was pretty good. Large space, but even on a Tuesday it looks like there was a waitlist when we left. Quick service.

We basically waited 10 minutes to get seated when we walked in. Information about happy hour can be very confusing as their website has different hours than their IG. When we were seated they seated us directly against a wall with very limited table space for four girls. We ordered wine flights (actually a great deal 4 wines for $25) and apps. We all were very hungry as we just got off a plane but they don't really have anything that is meal worthy more or less just small bites. The burrata was so yummy but the toasts were a little hard. Buffalo cauliflower dip was great and I loved the combination because I would've never thought to have a dip with cauliflower, cheese and buffalo sauce! When we ordered the apps we didn't have any table space left and the waiter took quite a while to pick up our prior plates and bring our bill. If you want outdoor seating I would recommend you go early as it fills up very fast and anything over two people will be hard to get in.

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 We ordered: - crab cakes appetizer: the mango salsa was so good, the mango pieces were ripe and soft, and the crab cakes themselves had good outer crunchy texture with soft filling - new york steak, medium to medium well: I usually find places will make medium to medium well steak at just barely medium rare to medium, but this place definitely cooked it very thoroughly, seemed closer to well-done. The steak was a little too chewy and tough for my taste, but overall good flavor. I loved the wild rice pilaf side! - lemonade and sierra sunburn: both really fresh and seemed like they were made from fresh lemons! the raspberry in the sunburn was great The lighting was warm and the lights were really overhead. The benches were comfortable and not cold to sit on, and overall nice, clean, comfy environment. Service was really friendly and apologized that the drinks menu didn't have dairy-free options for some of the drinks with dairy, overall really attentive and engaging. We found a lot of street parking a few minutes away and walked over, also took a walk on the lake beach right behind it which was super pretty

Dog-friendly vibes, jaw-dropping Lake Tahoe views, and super friendly, efficient service--even with our multiple beer sample requests. I devoured the seared ahi tuna topped with vibrant mango salsa (pro tip: test that fiery side sauce first--it's no joke!). My boyfriend loved his California chicken sandwich with those perfectly crispy, hot fries. Skipped the beer to save room for dessert--rich, indulgent, but perfectly balanced. Total winner! If you're in Kings Beach, Tahoe, this spot nails the lakeside chill with tasty food and unbeatable scenery. Highly

We immediately called to see if we could reschedule as we know we would be back. They said we could come another day. Yay! We decided to go back when there wasn't a blizzard. Lol. We also upgraded our experience from smores & fireplace outdoors, to a YURT! Best decision ever & it was our BEST winery experience ever! It was just perfect & magical! The yurt had 2 heaters, but we quickly turned one off. It wAs equipped with blankets & pillows! It was so cozy feeling. Our table was so nicely decorated, like out of a magazine! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and she did a great job walking us through the day's specials as well as some of her favorite picks. I started with the In Crowd cocktail and really enjoyed it. The coconut, basil, and bitters balanced beautifully with the gin, making for a super refreshing drink that felt especially perfect for spring or summer weather. We followed our server's advice and ordered four items, two larger plates and two starters, and everything was delicious. Here's the breakdown: Trout Dip: Fantastic smoky, fishy flavor in all the right ways, served with crostinis. The only small nitpick was that the crostinis were overdone for my taste and shattered loudly when bitten into. Grilled Prawns: Super meaty and seasoned and sauced perfectly, with a bed of slaw that balanced the dish nicely. Scallops: Seared to perfection and in an addicting red Thai curry sauce. I was intrigued by the combo of kimchi, grits, and curry and have to say that it somehow blends amazingly well. Lamb Chops: Cooked to a perfect medium rare, expertly seasoned, with little gaminess and a cooling yogurt sauce that really brought the dish together. All in all, it was a fantastic meal and easy to see why this place is such a favorite among both locals and tourists. The food, the drinks, and the service all come together to make this a great option for any occasion from a casual night out (us) to celebrating something memorable like a graduation (several were happening while we were there).

We would bring family or friends there for a night classy night out, but it wasn't overwhelmingly amazing to us.
