Busy with many tables filled at 3pm on Labor Day! Just shows what a great restaurant this is and how many people want to patronize it! Great variety of Laotian food! So many dishes to choose from! I opted for the fried intestines as app and Mee ga tee! Fried to perfection, light crispy batter and tender intestine with perfect dipping sauce. Mee ga tee was Rich, creamy, bursting with flavor, and absolutely delicious! Gives me Thai Khao soi vibes! I'll definitely be back to try other dishes!!

Clean and cute ambiance. Greeted upon entering the venue. Order the Ka Piet Sen, Thum pah, sticky rice, and crab fried rice. Service time was good, cook to order.

Really yummy Lao food!!! We ordered the Nam Khao Lao (crispy rice), Crying Tiger, and Crispy Pork Belly. Everything was so delicious, the crying tiger was my favorite. Every bite I took was like the first one...the smoky char taste paired with the sauce is so addicting. The crispy rice was so flavorful and tastes even better when you eat it with the chilies. Unfortunately I don't have a high tolerance to Southeast Asian spice so half a chili did enough for me. The pork belly was light and the fried crust was perfect. I also paired our meal with a thai coffee and it was deletable - so strong yet not bitter. Service was very nice despite it being busy, it feels like a cozy small business passionate about their culture and food.

My friend and I wanted Lao food so we stopped by Lao Kitchen for lunch. We waited for a few minutes to be seated. She was by her self greeting people and serving the food. Food: Kao Poon Nam - Vermicelli, Chicken Feet, Pork Blood Cube, Cilantro, Green Onion with Red Curry Broth Pad See Ew - Stir-Fried Flat Noodle with Egg and Chinese Broccoli. I was bummed that they did not offer Tofu as a protein. The Pad See Ew did have a great taste and smokey flavor. The Kao Poon soup was also delicious. I'd return again and try different dishes.

We're from California and were so happy to finally find a restaurant that really suits our taste! Laos Kitchen is such a lovely spot, and the food was amazing. The crispy pork was so good, and the papaya salad was fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of everything. Definitely one of those places we'd come back to. So glad we found this little gem!

My friend recommended me to try this restaurant during my visit. Located in a commercial area with free parking lot. No reservations needed, restaurant is good size, able to accommodate small and large groups. The food tastes just like home, almost similar to my cooking. It was still delicious to eat for midnight snack.

Laos papaya salad and beef larb

We ordered the Lao papaya salad, beef larb, kao poon, and pad thai, and honestly, I enjoyed everything we tried! The flavors were really delicious. I personally can't handle much spice, and my boyfriend chose medium spice for the larb and papaya salad. It was definitely spicy for me , but I kept going back for more. The kao poon and pad thai were also delicious and easier for me to handle. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and service was great. We would definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.

First time trying Lao food and I'm obsessed. I love spicy food so my sister put me on to this spot and wow... I'm seriously impressed. Service was great, wasn't busy or too loud so was able to have a decent conversation. We ordered the Pad See Eww, papaya salad (my mouth was on fire in the best way), Nam Khao, chicken larb, and crying tiger. Everything was a 4/5 spice level and full of flavor. I genuinely can't choose a favorite. This is exactly how spicy food should be--bold, flavorful, and not overpowering! I think I found my new favorite spot

This place is amazing! Friendly staff and great food. We had the papaya salad and the chicken larb. Let me tell you: the larb was great. It wasn't just your regular ground chicken; it had chicken heart and liver. Yummy. The food satiated our hunger after a day of hiking at Red Rock Canyon. I will come back again

    Nam Khao (Crispy Rice)

Very fresh and authentic! Service was great waiter was very helpful! Food was amazing will definitely be coming back.

I wanted to get an early dinner before a show and this is in a plaza with which I am familiar. Once again, thanks to Yelp for helping me find what has been there all the time. Their menu is mostly Lao street food but with a number of Thai dishes and some influence from Vietnam and India. Looking over the extensive menu, I ordered their Crying Tiger, marinated grilled beef brisket cut in small slivers for sipping in the crying tiger sauce. I also got an order of plain white rice. The crying tiger sauce is spicy but not too spicy for me. The Thai iced coffee I got to drink also helped with the spice if needed. The beef brisket is nicely grilled and the thin strips were somewhat rare which is the way i like beef. It was a very pleasant dish. For dessert, I got their roti. Knowing the size of roti, I wondered if it was too much for one person. The server told me it was one roti. Their menu describes it as fluffy, freshly made flatbread. In short order, the dessert arrived. The roti is folded and cut into small squares. It is glazed with a small amount of sugar and served slightly warm. There was also a small amount of sweetened condensed milk for some moisture. The Lao roti is similar to Indian. One website describes the Thai roti like this: "The Thai version is made from a dough that is stretched very thin (often with a theatrical flair from street vendors), folded to create layers, fried in butter and oil, and then served as a sweet snack or dessert. The result is a combination of crispy, flaky, and slightly chewy" What a treat! Service was very good. Coming in the late afternoon, the restaurant was empty except for people at one other table. Since their menu is so extensive, I will be returning for this very good food!

    Thum kao poon
    Sandy S.

Tried the thum kao poon, kao piak, potstickers, mee ka tee, and fried chicken, everything was really good! The flavors were delicious and comforting, and the fried chicken was especially tasty. The only small thing was that the noodles in the thum kao poon could have tasted a little fresher, but overall the dish was still good. Service was great too, our server was very nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely would come back!

Pad Thai, Larb Beef, Kana Moo Krob, Lao Papaya Salad

This place is a hidden gem. The food and service were excellent. Everything we ordered was flavorful. We highly recommend their pad Thai. Be careful with their spice level. A medium is more like hot/spicy.

We were greeted by a Hispanic waitress and asked if we wanted to sit at the bar, but chose to sit at a table. Another group of 4 was seated immediately after us, and she was very friendly with them and immediately served them water first and took their orders. A different Asian waitress took our order and asked what we wanted to drink, which was odd IMO. The place is a restaurant bar and the music is really loud, you can't hear yourself think or talk to your group. The chicken in the pa prik curry dish was oddly soft like melt in your mouth texture, I thought it was tofu. I didn't taste any flavor in the dish, there was literally only the red curry paste taste. My brother in law ordered the beef ox tail noodle soup and it tasted weird like they just threw the broth in from a separate pot with the meat and noodles. The broth was also bitter and sour because they put a big piece of lime in the bowl. There was absolutely no other flavor. We rated this 0 stars unfortunately because even your typical top ramen at home is way better. My sister's pad Thai was very spicy as she ordered, so she thinks it's why it tasted okay. She rated it 2 stars. My husband ordered the tom yum soup and that tasted fine, just like how it usually does, but we don't normally eat that so 3 stars for tom yum soup. We cannot recommend this place and won't be going back.

This place does a great job on Thai curry. I know many reviews will say "the curry was good"…read morewithout any details, but let me give you the details. -They seem to use actual whole spices in the curries, you'll see flecks of coriander and lemongrass and such. I suspect they make their own curry paste. -The curry flavors are REALLY well balanced. Someone or some people with very good cooking sense are making their recipes and cooking. -Massaman curry is hard to get right, but theirs has the perfect mix of umami, tangy, sweet, salty. -Yellow curry can often be really bland and just like sweet coconut milk at other restaurants, but the yellow curry at Panna Thai is intense and chock-full of spices (you can see the spice pieces in it, probably coriander and other things) and it's one of their best curries, really excellent balanced and flavorful taste -They take care to prepare the vegetables well, and the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry has the perfect texture, the eggplant is very soft and melt-in-your mouth, I've never had bad vegetables in their curries -The coconut milk is very rich and thick and the curries are thick (not just like water) -Each curry tastes like what it's supposed to taste like and they all taste very different. I think the best taste is in the yellow curry, Massaman curry, red curry, and pumpkin curry. The curries are not oily, no layer of oil or little drops of oil, and don't seem to have seed oils in them (we asked and were told the curries are a good dish if you want to avoid seed oils) -The curries are consistently good and I've had them maybe 15x between dine-in, trying my husband's food, and delivery -- been great every time -The curry fillings are good -- chicken is tender, they include lots of vegetables, the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry is melt-in-your-mouth -They add the things that are supposed to be included in authentic curry (like Thai basil for the red curries, fish sauce, etc.) -They are accommodating to allergies and dietary preferences -They'll actually make the curry spicy if you request it, I have a high spice need/tolerance and this is one of the only places that will make it taste spicy to a level where I can feel it if I ask for their highest spice level -The jasmine rice is the best of anywhere I've eaten in Vegas -- so fresh, so bouncy/springy, high-quality rice grains, clearly handled well and rinsed prior to cooking, cooked perfectly every time I've had it. It's a big part of the experience of curry to have bouncy, high-quality jasmine rice to contrast with he creaminess of the curry, and this place does a great job with it. -The portions are large and I almost always take some home, delivery portions are pretty large, too There are only 3 Thai places in Vegas that I can say that about, and this is the only one in SW Vegas that I've found to be like this. the service is also great and you actually feel like a guest there. they have little extra touches like real candles. they do a great job with refilling water, lemon in your water, mints by the door, lots of extra touches. above-par Thai restaurant, please support them! and try the curries! I think most people would enjoy their yellow, Massaman, and pumpkin curries.
