There's definitely more to discover for me at Table Thai but first impressions also go a Iong way and I wanted to give a review on my first (short) visit. Upon entering it's a beautifully decorated restaurant with nice decor, a very cool drop down ceiling with foliage and nice lamps, and there's a nice long bar with several seats. The nice part is they have a nightly Happy Hour every day from 9pm to close. There's plenty of $3-$5 drinks on the menu which many will like. The food choices are limited with $5 items including: fried gyoza, golden shrimp and Crab Rangoon. I tried the fried gyoza which was very good. It came out super hot and fresh and crispy. I really liked the dipping sauce as well. The gyozas are vegetable and you would probably think they were meat. Pretty interesting! The server was very nice as well and attentive. The ambiance is nice but can feel a tad bright and quiet for an evening. A little dimming of the lights would set a great mood. Also the bar top is rather short in depth - so your knees hit the wall part as the bar top doesn't extend very far. We finally made our way to this restaurant after driving by multiple times. It's in the same plaza as an upscale Vietnamese restaurant which gives diners another Asian dining option. The restaurant has a contemporary design with modern decor. Service was prompt and we never had to ask for our water to be refilled or silverware replaced. We ordered the spicy garlic wings, BBQ Pork, Khao Soi (yellow curry noodle), and crab fried rice. We really enjoyed the spicy garlic wings with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and the crab fried rice with generous servings of crab. I walked into this Thai restaurant on a Friday night and for a brief moment wondered if I had accidentally rented the place out for a private event. There were only about three tables occupied the entire time we were there. The good news? The service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, friendly, and always seemed to appear exactly when we needed something. Like a well-trained ninja, but with better customer service skills. Now let's talk food. The ingredients were clearly high quality and tasted authentic. Nothing felt cheap, frozen, or mass-produced, which likely explains the prices. That said, seeing $23 Thai dishes on the menu made my wallet perform an involuntary Thai chi routine. I understand paying for quality, but Thai food has always lived in that sweet spot of incredible flavor and reasonable pricing. At these prices, expectations naturally go up. My favorite Thai dish is yellow curry chicken, so that was the item I was most excited about. Unfortunately, it ended up being the weakest part of the meal. I told the server I enjoy a little spice but didn't want anything overly aggressive. He recommended a 1/5 spice level because the curry already contains peppers. When it arrived, there was essentially no heat at all. More importantly, the lack of spice seemed to leave the overall flavor profile feeling muted. The curry wasn't bad by any means, but it lacked the depth and punch I was hoping for. The Pad See Ew, however, absolutely saved the day. The noodles were outstanding, the sauce was balanced perfectly, and the beef was cooked exactly right. Every bite reminded me why this dish is one of the all-time greats. If the yellow curry was the opening act, the Pad See Ew was the headliner. Overall, this was a very good dining experience. Great service, quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and one truly excellent dish. The problem isn't whether the food is good. It is. The question is whether it's good enough to justify the premium pricing when there are so many excellent Thai restaurants within a few miles offering similar quality for noticeably less money. Would I come back? Honestly, I'm torn. I enjoyed my meal and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone looking for quality Thai food. We saw this restaurant last week when we were driving along Warm Springs Road and today we wanted to try it out. We ordered chicken pad-thai and beef jerky. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, although the noodles were warm, the chicken was cold and it made me suspect that it was pre-made. As for the taste, there was no balance between sour and sweet, it was just sour. Service was fast, too fast! We got seated right away when we checked in. The owner was nice and introduced herself and the rest of the staff were attentive. The table setting is very nice with low lighting, lots of TVs and the ambiance feels upscale. So I've been here on two separate occasions and both times the food was flavorful, hot, and tasted authentic. It is in a really nice location over by Rhodes Ranch and has the cutest interior and outdoor patio for seating. The service always seems so pleasant and genuine as well. They remembered me from a previous visit which I appreciated. They also offer a pretty solid happy hour and lunch special for $15 too. I've tried several things including under the rock curry (FAVE), drunken noodles, orange chicken, Tom Kha soup, Gyoza, Pad thai, and some more stuff I cant remember. I've had that dish at tons and tons of Thai restaurants (it's my favorite and go to) so I know the typical peanut-type flavor it should've had. The chicken didn't seem cooked well so I avoided that all together. Lastly we had the pad Thai with beef and the beef was so tough I couldn't break it apart with my fork. They also make their pad Thai on the sour/sweet side. For the price of each dish and the overall ambiance of this restaurant, I was expecting way more from the food and the quality. It was good, but gets soggy quickly and makes the dish a little oily. I prefer it cooked normally. Penang Curry - 4/5 - It was a good curry with a nice flavor, I just did not particularly like the addition of peas and carrots, which seemed to just be the frozen mix. Mommom noodle 4/5 - A light and fresh noodle dish, a nice assortment of toppings with a zingy sauce. It's like a noodle salad. The steak was tender and flavorful, and the ginger chicken with green curry was something unique for me--it was absolutely delicious. This is their second location and I'm loving it. This place is very famous to Vegas locals. It's my first time here coming from La, my Vegas friends recommended this one.
