the first time I ate here (dine in) it was great, but I ordered pad thai- medium spice, papaya salad- medium spice, 1 order eggroll, 1 order crab ragoon for $60!!! the pad Thai was SO dry, no sauce, flavor or anything but dry noodles and a couple shrimps. the papaya salad was so sweet with no spice.

Tord gra tiam plik thai, add Chinese broc.

If you're looking for Authentic Thai cuisine, this is a place for you. Nice atmosphere. Big dining room.

This restaurant is a solid choice for Thai food in Omaha. It's run by a nice family. They were friendly and welcoming. We had tofu pad see ewe, shrimp fried rice, and fish curry. All were excellent and we would not hesitate to go back!

Don't let the location fool you...this restaurant serves really outstanding Thai food. They have a pretty good menu and a handful of selection for appetizers. I highly recommend their Mango Rangoon for starters. The Tohm Yum soup was good but really wished it was a little more creamier. Also can go wrong with their Red Curry, with your typical choice of spiciness level. Parking can be a little challenge, but paid street parking maybe a better option.

Everything was amazing. Not only is the restaurant itself cozy and comforting, the staff was so nice and welcoming. All the food was amazing. I've been searching for a great papaya salad and this was it. The curry was amazing and the mushrooms made it so savory. Pad Thai was different, still good but it was much darker and didn't have the classic pad Thai flavor you expect.

This is a homey spot in South Omaha. Food was fresh - we had the spring rolls with shrimp and a basil fried rice with ginger chicken stir fry. We asked for the food hot and it was probably medium at best. I would order a spice level up from what you usually get to get the right spice we came at 12:30 on a Sunday and were the only ones at the restaurant which was surprising. Food was solid but not the most authentic or best Thai by any means. Service was good, water was refilled quickly and food was out in a timely manner. Prices were reasonable. If you're looking for an average but reliable Thai spot, this is your place!

We found this hole in the wall on Yelp & figured we'd give it a try purely for my love of Thai food. I must say, this was the best Thai food I've had! Phenomenal portion sizes, flavor, and spice! Definitely coming here again when I visit again. Must must try!!

Great Food. Satay Chicken, Red Curry with Chicken and Thai Tea. Good value. Great service. 20 years.

When we came in we decided to sit right in front of the television playing a Thai singing show that seemed like a cross between The Voice and America's Got Talent. It was awesome and very entertaining. I ordered the Forest curry because it sounded interesting. It actually had pretty much the same ingredients as the red and green curry but the word "forest" got me for some reason. Turned out that it was just a huge bowl of veggies with just a light taste of curry. It was almost like vegetable soup, because it was thin in consistency. It wasn't bad, but I think I would like to go back and try some of their other dishes. The tom kha gai on the other hand was really delicious. For a small cup, however, it was $5. Also, I ordered level 10 spicy and it did make me sweat. If you're a serious pepper head or heat lover, it's doable. Things I loved: When you walk in, it's like being in Thailand and you're about to have a meal with a family. You'll know as soon as you walk in. Also, they make their own pepper and vinegar mix which was so tasty and gave the dish extra heat.

    Green curry with tofu.

When I eat here it feels like my soul leaves my body and starts ascending, that is how good it is. Service Um, ed, and Maggie are genuinely some of my favorite servers in the whole world; sometimes when I go here I'm looking forward to seeing them as much as I am the food. While sometimes it can be a bit slow, that is because the kitchen is taking their time for you, no shortcuts. Food Every time I eat here I think, "it can possibly get better than last time," but guess what, it does. Every thing I have gotten here has been AMAZING, for example the drunken noodles and the pad Thai, and don't get me started on the pho, absolutely heavenly. Ambience Khao Niao has some of the best ambience. Every time you eat here you can look around and find something new. They focus on a wood interior with beautifully crafted tables and archways. Along with some little fountains 10/10 ambiance Overall Khao niao is as good as it gets, by far my favorite restaurant!

Also can be nosy so not ideal if your looking for intimate vibes. It was also so busy with takeout orders as well - which I cant blame anyone for! The food tops it all! This is hands down the best thai in omaha. I have a friend that has tried many thai places here and recommended this place to me. We always go with the pad thai but definitely want to branch out next time we go. It is a little on the pricier side but thats what you get for high quality food. You also get to choose your spice level. We will continue to come back!!

Stopped by Mercy Thai Restaurant and had a really solid meal…read more Started with the fresh spring rolls -- super crisp veggies, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked shrimp. The dipping sauce had a nice sweet and tangy balance that tied it all together. You can tell everything was made fresh. The soup was just what I wanted too. Light but really flavorful broth, plenty of herbs and green onions, and comforting without feeling heavy. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and the overall vibe was relaxed and easy. Great local spot when you're in the mood for fresh, flavorful Thai food. Would definitely come back.

Honestly I was really disappointed with Mercy Thai…read more The chicken wings were completely flavorless. They literally just seemed battered in panko and fried with no seasoning at all. 0/10. The crab rangoons sounded good from the description -- cream cheese, crab pieces, onion, and carrots -- but they were WAY too sweet for my taste. Not to mention there were none of the ingredients described inside?! Seems like it was only cream cheese and sugar. Then the sweet chili sauce that came with them was super watery and just made it worse. 2/10 overall. I also tried my boyfriend's drunken noodles and... mid at best Definitely not something I'd come back for. Maybe other menu items are better, but based on what I tried, I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I do love pad thai itself, but I unfortunately did NOT love "I Love Pad Thai" the restaurant…read more We ordered it for delivery when we were working one day and couldn't make it out for lunch/didn't have time to make lunch ourselves. I know everywhere is better if you eat it inside, but if they offer delivery, I think that it should be about on par with what you get in the restaurant (because they certainly charge the same or more than dining in). This either was just not great from the get go, or it lost a LOT of quality in the delivery time. I don't think that's the case, because a delivery time doesn't make most of the food almost FLAVORLESS. Cold, maybe - but flavor doesn't vanish from it being delivered? So if you couldn't tell, we were not fans of almost anything we received. My Pad See Yew was literally flavorless. It tasted like WATER was used for the "sauce" on it. The chicken in it was also very stringy and dry. My husband got the Pad Thai, which did have a little bit more flavor, with the peanut sauce, but not a whole lot more. The only saving grace was the fried dumpling appetizer we ordered. Those were tasty and the dipping sauce they came with was good (it said it was just soy sauce but it wasn't super salty like soy sauce, more sweet). At almost $50 for two entrees that were basically untouched because they were so dry and flavorless, I would say order elsewhere or dine inside so you can gauge what you are getting in person.

For the price, my portion was small and the chicken had a rubbery flavor. And it was very greasy!…read moreToo bad it's in a great location.
