I ordered six tacos and a large Guacamole through DoorDash app to pick up. The app said wait 20 to 35 minutes to go pick the tacos up so I did. When I got to the Taco Laredo on OST and Cullen the taco still wasn't ready and they said they don't even sell guacamole at that location, on top of that the workers had attitude as if I owed them something. This is by far the most I've ever ate. I just don't understand why some these places are in business. If you fail to serve quality food, you aren't going to make any money by holding back your meat on your product. There was a mistake on my part--this is for the Laredo Taco Company at the Stripes on S Peek Rd in Richmond, Tx. It is what it is. 90% of the time, the tacos are pretty good. There have been a couple of problems the last two visits. One heavyset white woman who was working had such a major attitude problem when reminded about what she left out of my order. Came home and apparently she squeezed all the tacos in my order & they were watery. Today, I went back because they had put cheese and beans in my order. I never order my breakfast tacos with beans and cheese. The manager said she would fix this. Fix if you mean adding extra potatoes and giving me back the same tacos that still have beans and cheese. I was going a couple days a week to get the breakfast tacos and they were delicious. Several weeks back they were declining in both quality and service. The tortilla was made from scratch and delicious, the eggs were real and fluffy while the bacon was perfectly crispy. I was shocked that this place is a full on Mexican buffet of goodness. I decided to try this out after so many people recommended it, including my sister and cousins. It's located in the Stripes gas station, so I was slightly iffy. First impression was that they were really friendly. I ordered two egg&chorizo, two steak fajitas, one barbacoa, and one egg&sausage for my sister and I. The barbacoa and steak fajita tacos were really greasy and oil spilled out of the foil wrap. I think it was because I got the last serving out of it and she scraped the container clean, along with all the oils on the bottom. The flavorings on the two were good, just hard to finish since it was so greasy. My tortilla was drenched. But the tortilla was was fresh and fluffy on the egg ones, just as they say. These Laredo taco company's are located throughout Texas in stripes gas stations. These can be surprisingly good. They serve lots of options for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast tacos are good and taste like they are made from scratch. I have had tortillas here that appeared authentic as if you were in Juarez or tiajuana. The downside is that the consistency is bad. Too many times the people inside seemed pissed off. Sometimes the food quality is poor and you can tell the employees just don't care. If you come across a location that is managed well then you may discover one of texas's dirty little secrets. read more
