We've been wanting to try out Dripped Birria since they opened not long ago. They opened in a space that was previously occupied by another restaurant that went belly up within a few months, so this may be the way Dripped goes as well. The place was packed, and you order and pay on a kiosk. The wife and I each had birria ramen and one birria taco. Son went with the order of birria tacos which came with 3 tacos. We were all unimpressed with the flavor of the tacos, as they came nowhere near the birria tacos we've had elsewhere. Son added that his consommé tasted like chili, which wasn't encouraging. The birria ramen was literally the Tapatio cup noodles that you can buy in the grocery store, literally served in the cup they come in, with overcooked birria meat and consommé. It was extremely salty, to the point I could feel my blood pressure rising as I ate it. My guess is that they don't compensate for the high sodium in cup noodles when they make the consommé, so the final product is way too salty. It's new to us but we had to find this new location and we are happy that we did!! The food is good beginning with the chicken quesadilla. It's very tasty but the sauces that are included are extremely delicious and the spices literally dance on ones tongue! The birria ramen was very salty which is why we couldn't eat too much of it.
