I can't speak to their dinner but I appreciated their lunch menu. I was in town for work and we went by twice for lunch. The server was friendly and, more importantly, efficient. The menu had a good variety and reasonably priced. The side salad was a pleasant surprise as it was more than just lettuce. While I don't even like olives and raw onions, I appreciated that they went the extra mile for a side salad. Their croutons are yummy. I got ravioli the first time and a two toppings pizza the second time. I didn't love either to be honest, but that's more a personal preference than issues with them. Food is fresh and hot. I would still go back!

I was pleasantly surprised after taking my first bite of LaRosa's double pepperoni pizza. The sauce is incredibly flavorful and paired with the perfect amount of cheese. The staff were super friendly as well. I'm in town for only a few days and will definitely be back. Would 100% recommend.

Well, it's certainly NOT $7.00 worth of a sandwich!

MANY years ago I worked for LaRosas. I was EXTREMELY disappointed tonight! What happened to quality! I ordered the chicken hoagie on wheat. What I got was an iceberg lettuce sandwich sprinkled with chicken bits.... VERY BAD! Thankfully, Jessica the server was very friendly...

I know its LaRosa's, tho it's local it is still a decent size chain and it's kind of weird to review a chain store. But, you have to weave out the bad locations for us people who actually enjoy going to LaRosa's. I moved to Covington recently and this is right by our house. I've ordered take out from here multiple times. Every time I go in to get it, the pizza is always done early or exactly on time. I've never had to wait, and I appreciate that. The other day we finally went and sat and dined in here. This location is in an older building, it obviously wasn't originally a LaRosa's old. For that reason, it's super unique interior compared to every other LaRosa's. They have older skylights and tin ceilings that were painted mint and I dig it. It has a couple of square wooden booths in the middle of the room and not the corners which are also unique and cool. It's super clean so that obviously a plus side. I walked into the bathrooms which are super old and haven't been updated in years, but it was extremely clean. The booths were all wiped down and the carpet was clean. Which is not a common thing found within other LaRosa's. The staff here is always super welcoming and nice and that alone makes me want to go back. All the food is always made right and tastes amazing. They've never gotten my order wrong, I've never had a complaint. If you've never been to LaRosa's before and are reading this and need actual food recommendations, You have to start with breadsticks with melted provolone. I suggest getting it with marinara and garlic butter on the side. Mixing the marinara and garlic butter together and dipping the breadstick in that is the ultimate fat kid move, but I promise you it's amazing. Traditional style crust on LaRosa's pizza is the best way to go with the pizza. I honestly will eat pretty much any LaRosa's pizza but the plain cheese is always amazing. If you get pepperoni at LaRosa's ever make sure you ask for it on top of your pizza. They cook it under the cheese sometimes, and it's soggy and gross to me if it's like that. Salads, Spaghetti, Sandwiches are all legit here too. If you're craving LaRosa's one day and want to go to a great location I would suggest this one.

$35.00 for mediocre pizza and bad wings is not money well spent. Was told delivery would be 30min but took 50min. All around unhappy.

I was greeted quickly and while looking at the rotating menu board behind the counter and trying to decide. I was directed to the menu laminated on the counter. Duh! even though I was alone I got a small meat lovers pizza and sat out back. The back was like a fenced in backyard with tables and umbrellas. When the guy brought my (great tasting) pizza out he told me to turn on the fans and basically make myself at home (my words, I was the only one there). I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Laid back, relaxed and they even have a bourbon bar upstairs. How can you beat that. When I'm in town next year, I'll have to check them out again. You should too!

The gentleman who brought us our caprese salad, didn't directly say anything to us, but instead spoke only to the bartender (as he placed the salad in front of us) and told him not to place any more orders for caprese. He seemed inconvenienced by our order and more interested in his smoke break. We were surprised at the presentation and at the lack of flavor but assumed that the pizza would be amazing! based on what we had read and heard - but were incredibly disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and Incredibly greasy. Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.

Instead, I got something shocking... Actual great pizza!!! The wood-fired crust comes out blistered and charred just enough to whisper, "I went to Italy for a semester and didn't come back with a man bun." It's crispy outside, chewy inside ... the kind of texture that makes you forget every sad, floppy chain pizza you've ever eaten in a strip mall next to a vape store. The toppings? Legit. We're talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hot honey, and fancy meats that sound like they have their own passport. And here's the real shocker: It's not pretentious. Nobody lectures you about "mouthfeel." Nobody asks if you want your pizza "deconstructed." Nobody serves it on a wooden plank shaped like Vermont. It's just seriously good pizza ... the kind that makes you say, "Wow, maybe civilization isn't collapsing after all." And the wood-fired flavor? Smoky, slightly charred, and rich...like it was baked by a Tuscan grandmother who also owns a flamethrower. The owner just showed me their home made pasta dish for the Friday in Lent. Looks amazing!! Thank you Patrick for the tip!!

Service wasn't the fastest, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out for me was the vegan menu. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The only downside was the garlic... and I mean seriously heavy. I smelled like garlic for a full 24 hours afterward, despite brushing, mouthwash, showering, and mints. Not subtle. Still, I'd order it again without hesitation. Worth it.

We had a Chardonnay and a Bellevue pizza along with an apple dessert pizza and some meatballs as an appetizer. The pizza was great. Generous toppings, nice sauces, thin but not crispy crust. The apple pizza was okay. Dare I say on par with CiCi's apple pizza, only smaller and much more expensive. The meatballs were tasty, decent marinara. But the balls were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was adequate. The dining room was comfortable. We found street parking right in front. Not sure if they have a lot. Overall, the move from three to four stars was the pizza. A little pricey, but worth it.

It was honestly so delicious, and oddly enough was even better reheated the next day! (Reheated great in a toaster oven) It also came out quicker than I expected. (With it being Chicago deep dish, I was prepared to wait!) We also got their appetizer sampler. The items were good, but the pizza balls definitely stood out! The dough was so fantastic and clearly homemade. It was perfectly buttery and flaky, yet firm structural. The sauce was also delicious. A must: pairing everythingggg with their house made ranch. My brother got a steak hoagie and was pretty disappointed when a small sandwich with a meat patty and a side of potato chips is what came out. It just didn't match the caliber of the pizza at all. We also got to Italian sub style hoagies, and those were both small and underwhelming as well. The dining room had a bit of a disheveled feel but I couldn't quite put my finger on what was off. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. They have outside seating, which could be nice in the right weather, though the area is just feet from the main drag. Our server was fine. I have no real recollection of them. We ordered a deep dish, looking to find a pizza as good as Zachary's in California. Bourbon House Pizza is not as good as Zachary's, but it is the best deep dish pizza we've tried in the Cincinnati area since we've been back in Cincinnati since 2021. We made our own pizza in an attempt to match our favorite - spinach and mushrooms. It was good. I enjoyed the sauce on top. Under the sauce, the cheese was very thick making the overall taste of the pizza very cheesy. We had a similarly cheese deep dish in Chicago. Our pizza at Bourbon House was better. I will say the crust is thick. I would have eaten the crust if there had only been two pieces per person. Since I was faced with potentially eating four pieces, I opted to skip the crust. One of our group asked if she could order from the kid's menu. The server had no issue with the request. Oddly enough, her meal was huge! We were all surprised it was a kid's meal. Our fourth ordered a small pizza. It looked like it had pineapple on it. I didn't ask how it was, but he ate every bite. It must have been a small and it was the perfect single serving size. Oh... we ordered a medium deep dish. It was eight pieces and was too much for two people. Because we were going to a show after dinner, we didn't box up the leftover two pieces. This size pizza would be great for four people to share. We will continue to look for great deep dish pizza, but we definitely found a good one at Bourbon House Pizza.
