Great local neighborhood auto parts store. Long time local owner of I believe a franchises store. Been here many times mostly for car batteries and they've always been helpful and courteous with their service. While not over the top, they get the job done. Last came for a replacement battery and with my receipt and they got me a replacement as well as credit for my old battery still under warranty. It was a simple process. Napa is usually the place to go for anything you need for your automotive needs, however, this store doesn't carry very much. It's small, not real clean and has items in places you can't get to easily. Today, the guy at the counter today was too just busy reading to help. There was one guy behind the counter on a different day who did help-which gave them a 3 instead of 2 stars. They also don't know their products. We were looking for something pretty common and the guy behind the counter was searching his computer when my husband is looking (while this guy keeps searching) and finds it on a shelf. Maybe, get off your seat and help the customers. Seems like just good business to me. I've been to other Napas that are paragons of automotive goodness but, I'm sorry to say, this is not one of them. With an O'Reilly's so close, big and clean and the guys even come out and help you find exactly what you need. Forget this Napa location. I won't be back. read more

Went in to buy a bottle of MAF spray cleaner. Store was messy and they took an abnormally long time running my credit card in the back which set off a small red flag. I checked my receipt closely on my way out and saw that they overcharged me by 52 cents. Went back to the shelf, took a pic of the posted price, went back to the counter and pointed out the "mistake". Asked them to refund me the 52 cents in cash so that I wouldn't need to trust them with my credit card again. They were not willing to do so and came up with excuses. Finally I demanded that they void the entire transaction or I'd take it up with my credit card company and reverse the charges on them. Somebody who I think was the manager did so. Going to a different auto parts store now. What a pain. Buyer beware in that store be sure to double check your receipt for inflated charges. read more

I forgot to get the name of the gentleman that assisted me the other day at the Hawaii Kai store but the staff there is amazingly helpful! I was having a tough time (don't laugh) getting the new windshield blades onto my daughter's car and he came out and installed them in seconds, saving me a torturous effort! DON'T GO HERE!!! The workers are incompetent! I went there to return a product , instead they charged my card AGAIN!! When I went back to show them and tell them the mistake, the guy at the counter tells me it'll be credited immediately to my card. I wait about half and called my bank, they tell me that Napa has to call to release the hold. I call Napa back and the guy I was dealing with says as soon as I hang up he'll call. I waited 24 hours and he never called! I call back and they say if was yesterday it could've been voided! By now I'm beyond pissed! I yell IT WAS YESTERDAY!!!! Then a different guy says his office said it'll take 2 weeks to go through! I yell "christmas is in 3 days!, I still gotta get more things!" The manager calls at first he wasn't much help, then I inform him all he has to do is call my bank to release the hold. Now I'm waiting to see if he called.
