He could have easily said sure brakes need replacement and give me less than a bundle. He didn't. Instead the guys here said I don't need brakes for a long time. I've been fighting a vacuum leak for two years on my motor home. Multiple shops replaced many components over and over due to the fault codes listed. John actual "worked and troubleshot" the issue to a bad modular on the computer. Module removed error codes gone! They have the same knowledge base as an Jiffy lube tech( I'm being generous here) or maybe an amateur using youtube but are doing FULL AUTO REPAIRS either that or doing scams. Larry's was recommended to me by my brother. I must say an excellent recommendation it was. I had originally taken my truck to discount tire center on owensmouth and Sherman way to replace my brakes and my front wheel bearings. They did neither correctly. In fact they didn't even replace my wheel bearings! So, I took my truck to Larry and told Tracey that I didn't have a ride and needed my truck for work. They prioritized me and pushed my truck through in under 4 hours. They fixed everything that had not been fixed properly the first time and I got out of there under $300. These people are life savers! Took my truck to "car care Calabasas" to get it checked out and they wanted to replace all my sensors and change my oil for 600 bucks. If THAT didn't work they were going to take apart my engine for an additional 3 thousand! That's just the tip of the iceberg. Took a tip from my coworkers to take it to larry and his crew and it turned out to be a hundred dollar solenoid (not any of the sensors, meaning the other guys would have taken me for 4k,) parts and labor was less than $225! They got my business and I would recommend them to anyone. Seriously these people are awesome. I left my tablet in the car and tracy was nice enough to store it in a locked box for me. Larry's is amazing mechanic shop. My grandparents found this place. After many failed attempts at getting their RV cruise control fixed then ended up at Larry's. Larry took a quick look, knew the problem within seconds, and had it fixed in less than 5 min. On top of that, he wouldn't charge my grandparents. Fast forward nearly 20 years and I am still going to see Larry for all my repair needs. I've taken all kinds of cars to him. My old Toyota pickups, Infiniti G35, Supercharged AWD Chevy Silverado, Toyota RAV4 and Kia Soul. I've seen boats there, hot rods, commercial trucks, pretty much anything. Larry knows me and chit chats about life and family. Not many mechanics now a days do that. After my grandfather had passed my grandmother stayed a loyal customer. When she brought her car in for repairs, Larry would drive her home and pick her up when the car was ready. I'm not saying he will do that for every person.
