Back with another great review of Larry's Px. Still our favorite breakfast spot on the Cape. You can see my great reviews of the breakfast quesadilla, biscuits and sausage gravy with potatoes and the grilled blueberry or morning glory muffin. I just tried "Sue Melt" with chicken salad, lettuce and bacon and it was delicious. It comes with chips and I will be ordering this again. Very casual, no need to get dressed up. Easy parking.

Ended back in my Hometown of Chatham to Help my Parents do some Yard Work on this Windy Cold Day...we ended up going for Lunch at Larry's PX, been our favorite Place to have Breakfast and Lunch, I started with a Clam Chowder....it was very Thick and it was not my favorite.... unfortunately, too Rich for me....now the Main Dish I had: "Jay Melt" with Sweet Potato Fries, it was a Hamburger Patty with Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, and Cheese, that was really delicious, did not even needed Mustard and Ketchup, the Sweet Potato Fries were fantastic too, if you never been to Larry's PX in Chatham I would definitely Recommend it, it's a great Spot to Go-To, not too Expensive either

My husband came here with our kids and said their breakfast was good so I decided to just get a quick bagel. Since the young girl took 15 minutes to get my bagel with cream cheese, I expected the best thing to ever be eaten. Well it turns out the girl just moves at a sloths pace and the bagel was worse than a frozen grocery store bagel. She didn't even put the cream cheese on so I'm not sure what took her so long considering I was the only one there.

Great service and delicious breakfast. Love the local feel of the place and a bargain for the area.

We first came here last year and had to come back, twice this time. They had gluten free bread and English muffins (yeah) and our breakfasts were delicious. The servers are very friendly and a big part of the experience. If you want a good, traditional breakfast experience, this is the place. I had a Gluten Free English Muffin with egg and cheese and the next day Scrambled eggs, well done bacon and gluten free toast.

Larry's PX is a Chatham institution. As you walk in, you see various items for sale such as beach toys, postcards and newspapers. There were a few people in line in front of us, but they were seated quickly. We ate here twice during our most recent time spent in Chatham. Our first visit we ate at the counter and the second time we were lucky enough to grab a table. Yes, this establishment is old school, but it's very fitting for this quaint New England town. Larry's PX is super casual, running shorts and a t-shirt is acceptable attire here. We visited for breakfast on both occasions. The menu had a nice selection of choices, very similar to what you would find at a diner. Prices are about average, some other local eateries are pricier though. Service was acceptable. Food was similar to what you would find at a decent diner. I enjoyed the pancakes and my dining companions also liked their meals.

Throwback spot...counters with little slots for your menu...right in the middle of the store selling all your beach toys, prescription essentials and more. Yes there are some tables and booths too, but why not give in to the theme? Breakfast was reasonably priced, delivered quickly and the coffee was good and strong. This was our first visit and we were happy we got in before the line formed. Good vacation breakfast is always at a premium - bet the locals (and there were a handful, greeted by first name) cannot wait until we all leave! My linguica was a patty, the eggs were perfectly done and toast was on pint (pun intended). The GIANT muffin was a square blueberry affair, split and grilled with a bit of butter. If it had been more moist, this is five star neighborhood gem.

Without a doubt, Larry's PX is the best breakfast restaurant on Cape Cod.

We sit at the bar and after 5 minutes or so, we place our drink order. So far so good. We then place our app order. Stuffed quahog and the Portugese Littlenecks. Nothing too ground breaking here. Littlenecks cook in about 6 minutes and I am sure the quahog is ready to be popped in the oven on the prep line. 45 minutes later, no apps. Bartender is back in the kitchen 3 times. Still no apps. We get to talking to a local resident next to us who ordered a salad with salmon, and she says that this was her second try at the restaurant as well and no realizes why she never came back. Her salad took about an hour. For a salad... Ok, so now we place dinner. Well we should have just paid at that point and gone to the Squire for a burger cause now we wait another hour for our dinners. Which when they come out are ice cold. Mind you we had baked cod and a pasta dish. Neither of those should take more than 20 minutes to prep. We have now been in this place over 2 hours and didn't get to eat a dinner. What a huge disappointment. Sad thing is this place can get away with bad service because they are attached to an inn in downtown. So people will never stop eating there. But hopefully with a few more bad reviews, they will figure something out or close.
