The gates are always broken, they tow your car for no reason, and they still charge "amenity fees." The complex is infested with roaches, rats, and even snakes. Police are constantly on the property, and no one tells you what's going on until they're knocking on your door at 2 AM, looking for someone who ran through the parking lot. Management discriminates against Black residents. If you complain to corporate or the housing authority, you'll be punished with a rent increase. This place is not income-friendly--just a rundown community that looks nice on the outside but is a nightmare to live in.

I was initially terrified of moving because I had a really bad experience with the first apartment that I moved to when I came to Texas. The customer service is excellent. Ashley and Nicole are responsive, sweet, kind, and welcoming. I have been some of the best examples I have ever seen as far as a property management staff is concerned. We toured several different apartment complexes and this constantly topped the list. The facilities are very clean and are constantly being cleaned by other staff members. The gym is really beautiful and has all the equipment one would need to bulk up or just focus on cardio if they want. The business center is so convenient because of the coffee and the printer. The hammock garden is one of my favorite places to lounge in when I have the time. We got a two bedroom apartment here and other than a few dings on the wall, it is incredibly spacious and beautiful. We have been so happy living here and it's been the first time in my life where I feel like I can kick off my shoes and enjoy myself. Maintenance has been so responsive as well. Anytime I've submitted a ticket, they have been there the same day. To be honest I'm rather disappointed I don't see more good reviews for this apartment complex. It seems that people are more ready to leave negative feedback than positive and I know so many other tenants have nice things to say about this apartment because I've spoken to them myself. If I'm not ready to buy a house by the time this lease ends, we will probably continue to stay here. That's how much we like it.

After lots of touring and shopping around for my first apartment I decided to go with citizen house at wolf ranch. The place is gorgeous! Everything is all brand new and very well thought out. I have been living here for a couple months now and I love it. I am so happy I remembered Mrs. Dani's kindness and personableness from a year ago and chose to revisit this place. They have move in specials that match no other place in town. Dani will get you fixed up and they make it SUPER easy for you. Dani was very friendly, kind, and professional. She got things done. The apartment complex was built cheaply and they claim to be "luxury" but any close look around will prove otherwise. There was a couple months of crickets and scorpions falling out of the air conditioning vents (I sent pictures of where they were going into the walls from outside and it was weeks before anyone filled the holes.) I was electrocuted by bad wiring in my AC unit. Dog poop EVERYWHERE! There was no initial walk through when I moved in but my brand new unit had muddy footprints on the carpets and was missing cabinet hardware, there was paint spots on the floor. Fast forward to my move out... I received an invoice over a month after moving out that had so many charges and credits it was impossible to understand. They turned a cut and pasted together document into collections which doesn't even seem legal. My advice: STAY AWAY. This place is overpriced and they deal in bad business practices. There are much nicer and cheaper places available!

The fact that the community is just two levels- all units have a balcony and personal garage. The large windows let in so much natural light, complimenting the interior. She took the time to go through all of my concerns, was very understanding, and provided clear solutions to each issue. Maintenance acted quickly and had a brand new washing machine installed within just a couple of days, even while short-staffed. In the meantime, they also gave me access to another unit so I wouldn't be without a way to do laundry, which I really appreciated.
