This was the first time I've ordered food from here. The service was friendly and I was happy with the decent prices. I ordered the chicken tamales which were tasty, but mostly bread. Poor decision to pull off highway although nice to experience a bit of town and local joint. Pulled chicken supremo burrito had little flavor and sat in stomach like a half brick for 12 hours-veggie might have been better? Average. Food was good but not exceptional. Lackluster salsa, although there were two additional sauces served with the salsa. One red and very spicy, the other a verde sauce also good. Asked for margaritas on the rocks, was served in frozen margarita glasses. Thought that a bit strange. The wife had a tamale and really liked it. She ordered ala carte, and asked for a side of refried beans. They brought both beans and rice, both. I had the Chili Rellenos. They were good and were served with homemade flour tortillas which were excellent. Service started out great and became nonexistent after the food was served. Fried ice cream was very good. We were in the mood for margaritas and this was the closest place to our location. So glad we stopped! The drinks were great and the bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable about tequila! I was in Sheboygan for an event and I decided to check this place out for nachos. It wasn't the best place but it wasn't the worst. The wait staff was nice. When they give you the chips and salsa, they do not give you a plate. They also give you two other dips. One is spice and the other one is green. The nacho supreme was good. You got a large amount for a reasonable price. There wasn't much flavor tho. Everything was kind of blah. I am not sure if I would come back or not. read more

I got the chimichanga meal and it was delicious. I mixed the pork and chicken, but next time I'll be getting all pork. Good portions of good food at reasonable prices. I only gave 4 stars because I ordered takeout and it didn't come with chips. Not sure if that was accidental or their common takeout practice. read more

My mom and I went today for a Mother's Day lunch. The restaurant was not crazy busy, but we waited 45 minutes for 2 tacos and chorizo with eggs before we left without ever even seeing our food. We inquired about it 3 times and each time a server went to check saying it would be out soon, no apologies. When we had waited the 45 minutes my mom told them we were going to leave. We grabbed our stuff and walked out. The "manager" came out and demanded I pay for the one soda we ordered and proceeded to take a picture of my license plates. We told him that we had waited long enough and again no apologies for the wait or for treating us like criminals. My mom is a very frequent guest and will be talking with the owner personally. Great food but wont eat there again due to the last two times my daughter found hair in their food. One time I understand it happens but two times IN A ROW.... and one of those was is the salsa and chips which they serve to everybody! Went their on vacation a couple weeks ago as a family and the food and service was great! We ordered a variety of plates and couldnt decide which on was better! I personally had the Menudo and it hit the spot. And Brenda's excellent service and her recommendations were on point! Came here at 4:30 PM on a Saturday evening. While it was not as busy as I had anticipated due to the day and time, I was very pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered essentially skirt steak over a cheese enchilada with a cheese taco on the side and I got the pork taco dinner.
