Sure, they have some dishes you'll recognize, but some that will be a nice adventure. They're known for their seafood dishes and they are indeed good, so try something outside of your comfort zone. I try to stay away from fried food so one of my favorites is Filete diamante which is stuffed tilapia with crab, scallops, clams and something else hahaha. Yet his place is AWESOME! First off, don't be in a hurry. The service is a little slow, but it's worth it. Then again they are cooking some pretty awesome food. The complementary appetizer with crabmeat is great, but even better with the hot sauce. I had the Langosta this time. Oh, my. The guy at the bar next to me, had ordered it, and I just had to try it. I went there on a Saturday evening around 8:20 pm. The place was crowded and had to wait for about 10-15 minutes. The decoration was quite nice with low lights and mariachis playing from table to table. They brought us some chips, salsa and a small salad as an appetizer (for free). The waiter warned us that the salsa was hot and he was not mistaken, it was buuuuurning hot. The menu has a very wide variety of dishes mostly over $10 dollars. Many dishes go for $15 or $20 but from what I could see around other tables, portions were quite large. The restaurant specialty is sea food, with mostly grilled fish and shrimp. I ordered the taco salad fajita and my friend a burrito. Both dishes under $10. They were quite good but the burrito was much better than my taco salad. Overall, a great experience. Just be prepared to spend at least $15-$20 dollars per person and if you are ordering drinks, then even more. read more

This place is great. The drinks are always strong and is usually what gets us in the place. Service is pretty slow on busy nights. You can feel the authenticity of the restaurant already when you first enter. There's a mariachi band that's greets you! I sure hope you come on an empty stomach because food portions are out of this world! Definitely worth the money. One entree can be shared between 2-3 people, literally. We ordered the fried snapper plate topped with shrimps and came with a side of fries and even the 2 of us couldn't finish of being hungry. Drinks were made in a liter sized plastic cup! You get a lot of alcohol for what you pay for as well! Definitely have to try their michilada! When we finished our meal, the manager came to greet us and thanked us for our business. Below average at best. A few coworkers suggested that we stop here for lunch. The service was horrible and the place looks like a dump. When one of the rude waitresses finally came to the table, she only addressed the white people at the table. I spoke up and asked to order. My food didn't come out for 30 minutes, so I asked a different waitress to cancel. She said ok. The fat rude one came back with the food like nothing happened. Then they began speaking Spanish to my brown friend saying I had to pay bc the food came out. He said omg! I'm a server part time and this was horrible. I'm not big on Mexican food but the concept of "Mexican seafood" really intrigued me so I wanted to give this place a shot, kind of glad I did. When you walk in your greeted by a receptionist desk and you get instantly can tell that this is a real Mexican establishment On the night I went there wasn't just one but there were two mariachi bands playing on opposite ends of the building, what a treat! Since I don't eat much Mexican I struggled a little bit with the menu as it's primarily in Spanish with English subtitles helped me navigate just enough to pick out what I wanted... Fried snapper. The helpings are healthy and they start you off with a taco very spicy salsa on the side, the main course was this beautiful whole fish deep-fried with french fries piece of bread and salad... It was delicious. Only reason why it's not four or more stars is my waitress was a little and didn't really look like she wanted to be there and it showed in her engagement with me. She would occasionally come by to see if I wanted anything but the service from this particular waitress was very lackluster, another waitress help pick up the slack and checked on me more often. Besides the food the mariachi band is really a treat, they sing at your table or if you're sitting at the bar they sing right there, it makes the building a little loud but I didn't mind, the food was good and the atmosphere felt pretty authentic. read more

very rude waiter just about bringing some kid food? very unlikely that a kid will get sick from a fast food place at your restaurant. Not saying it can't happen but pretty sure the nuggets were fine. Just say you wanted the kid to get something from there. It hurt that bad to see and outside food? You're excuses about the "problem" did not add up. Been to more PUBLIC restaurants where it was perfectly fine. And it's so normal for a kid that may not like what is going to be served and just pass by and get the food they want. I was bribed with free dessert or a free shot of tequila to write a good review. The reason they have all these good reviews is because they offer something for it. When the waitress asked me to write a good review the owner was siting next to our table acknowledging the bribe. Also there was an incident where a worker try to take advantage of my cousin ! Me and her was drinking one night when the kitchen was closed and the guy who looks white but was Hispanic followed my cousin into the WOMEN bathroom! She felt nauseous from drinking to much so she went to get herself together. I waited for her by the bar cause she said she will be okay and will be back. But I should have went with her !! She was taking longer than usually so I called her and she said a worker tried to kiss her and wanted to have sex with her. Once I heard that on the phone I immediately went to the bathroom and pulled her out of there. Upon leaving I saw the guy and he was trying to get my cousin to talk to him outside. I said "No, she's not going anywhere with you" and he said he will take her home and I said "No you're not! ".
