$20 shrimp Cocktail needs something but they give you the ketchup the tapatio and limes and salt to your taste.

Nice friendly staff, plenty of booths and tables. Big screen tvs and decent priced foods. Free parking and sometimes live music! Noisy and fun.

Late review but better late than never. Was craving fresh seafood so I came across this restaurant. For starters I ordered their shrimp empanadas with a cucumber drink. I must say the empanadas were the best I ever had. They consistently brought me lemon and salsa which I love. I couldn't wait to try their main dishes. Boy was I disappointed. My chicken was bland and cold. My fiancé ordered their garlic fish fillet. I tried it and it was rubber like with zero seasoning yet alone garlic. Honestly the worse fish I've had. She returned it and settled for more shrimp empanadas. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse the bill came with and automatic tip of 15% but was actually 18%. Then they bring you the bill to sign and expect another tip on top of their self implicated 15% tip. Folks they add up your total bill plus the tip and then expect you to tip on top of that.Sorry but that's unacceptable. If your food was average I don't mind leaving a tip. Never going back. Buyer beware.

It was a pretty good sized portion. The jamaica water was very refreshing and delicious. Loved that it was not the super sweet syrup kind. The fish in the fish taco was a little bit small in portion but tasty.

Came here with my family and the food was amazing. Great service and entertainment. The seafood is fresh and shrimp empanadas were a hit!

The bird glass is so damn cute and big! I tried their "Siete mares" and their "Agua chiles". Both very good. Great service and clean place.

We ordered the combo for two, all shrimp (fully peeled for $2.00 extra & totally worth it). We also ordered garlic bread and oysters as an appetizer. Everything came out fast, hot and perfectly cooked. The spice level was just right, potatoes and corn were delicious, soaked in the sauce for a perfect bite. The shrimp were cooked to just the right consistency, not overdone and rubbery. It also came with sausage, which was plump and flavorful. Not too spicy. The oysters were fresh, briny and paired with lots of lemon (upon request) and Tapatio. Delicious! The garlic bread was good, and supported the meal well. Our server, Nick, was great. Attentive, helpful with the menu and Johnny-On-Spot with more napkins, lemons and refills. We got there at around 5:30, without a wait (for a party of two). However, it was already packed, and by the time we left, there was a good amount of people waiting to be seated. The restaurant was clean, lively and bustling. There are even robots rolling around delivering food, utensils, etc. A pretty cool experience. For two people, we had a great shrimp boil with delicious sides, garlic bread and six oysters as an appetizer for a great price. Can't wait to try it for lunch. We'll definitely be back!!

For the price of food and the amount you get, I can't complain! The flavor of their own seafood boil sauce (boom sauce?) is a standard seafood boil flavor, it's legit. The flavors don't overwhelm you and make you wanna go to the toilet right away, you know what I mean? The family pack comes with 3 corn on the cob, 3 sausage pieces and 3 potatoes (like a medium sized potato!) it was good but I wish the seafood had time to sit in the sauce, you can tell the food was dumped on the sauce. We had to fight to scoop some sauce onto our mussels cause the bag was so full of food- what a good problem to have. Maybe the sauce is a bit thin? Maybe that's why it didn't stick to the food? Service was good, the ladies were attentive and professional. The decor looked like this place was known to be a bar- I mean there's a huge bar to the side. There's even a second floor but no one was seated there so it doesn't look used. Cute decor with the sea theme. Not happy about their toilet in the women's restroom. There's a a sign saying to please not dispose the toilet seat covers in the toilet cause it could clog it up. I was being a nice person and went to the trouble of respecting their wishes. It was gross as I was being careful not to touch the peed parts of the toilet seat cover. Don't judge me, only God can judge me! Come here to feed your family and friends at a very reasonable price! And if you're a lady you're gonna have to hover while you pee if you don't want to deal with the toilet seat cover disposal issue...

They are located in the same plaza as CVS, Tam's Noodle House and Dim Sum Box. There was sufficient amount of private parking for the plaza. When we first arrived, there was a lot of seats open. The staff was friendly and welcoming and said we can sit anywhere we would like. Phuong and Dat helped us the entire night and the service was fantastic. I recommend coming early because they did get busy and by the time we left every table was filled. The energy here is definitely upbeat and a great place to hang and catch up with friends. We had an incredible feast and would come back to reorder all of the dishes we tried this visit and more: Goi Xoai Muc ($15.99) - Mango salad with squid. Very light and refreshing. This is an unripe mango thinly cut and mixed in with traditional Vietnamese herbs. It also comes with some shrimp chips to funnel up this delicious salad. Oc Mong Tay Mo Hanh ($18.99) - Razor clams grilled with scallion oil. One of the least flavorful items by compare. Both my friend and I felt like the scallion oil was very light on these razor clams but enjoyed it with the sauces from other dishes. Oc Mo Bo Toi ($24.99) - Fat snails prepared garlic butter style. Delicious. These bigger snails makes them easier to pick them out with the skewers they serve this with. Ngheu Xao Bo Toi ($16.99) - Clams prepared garlic butter style. Yum. Juicier compared to the snails and absorbs the sauce well. The clam shell makes it easy to scoop up the sauce and drink it. Oc Len Xao Dua ($16.99) - Sea snails in a coconut milk sauce. One of my favorites but I know it's one of the more difficult ones to eat, cause you'll have to suck on it really hard to get the snail out. But the sauce is delicious and unique. So Diep Trung Cut ($15.99) - Scallops with quail eggs. Highly recommended by staff, They mentioned this was a popular dish. Very decadent. It was a smidge too much food for 2 people but when I asked my friend if she would remove anything, she mentioned it was all a good variety for the meal. Next time we'll need to come back with more friends to try more of their dishes.

The 4 of us especially liked the white fish with basil and the shrimp with snow peas. The rice noodles with seafood and the kung pao were also good. That said, we like our food spicier, so we asked for chili oil and limes. Some dishes did have vegetables, but when I go again I'll order a vegetable dish. Service was stellar - personal, but never intrusive. I liked that we were seated immediately and still given time for our late guests to arrive. Food arrived quickly once we ordered. They were gracious about splitting the tab afterwards, but could easily have asked whether we wanted separate checks since we were 3 unrelated sets of adults that arrived separately. So, what could have been better? The chafing spoons were too small and too few, leaving us to pull the chafing plate to the edge of the lazy Susan and scrape. My dinner plate was too small, so I made a bit of a mess while eating. The main room is noisy, even with some empty tables, Next time I'll ask for a table in the quiet section (to the right when coming in the main door.) I've driven past Newport Seafood many times and not gone in because the parking lot was already full, and it's not my style to park elsewhere and walk over. However, on Monday at 5 PM, we found ample parking. All that said, Newport Seafood seemed at its best when serving special meals to large families all around us. I will think of them next time we celebrate a special family occasion.
