Walked in and walked right back out... This establishment has absolutely no ambience whatsoever and it's supposed to be a "Mexican" restaurant. Since the restaurant looks so dead we decided to walk into the bar... The bar was just the same no ambience no anything no music all there was was a horrible stench of fish I walked right out! It's too bad because this place would've been very local and convenient for me they really need to revive this place!!!! read more

The male waiter who took care care of the patio today at 1:30pm was condescending to say the least, and terrible at his job. I came here with my service dog and presented documentation that my dog is registered. He questioned it without knowing the law at all. He kicked us out. Wow where do we start here! We just moved into the neighborhood, this spot is less than 2 miles away ! I read a couple of reviews before coming here ! And let me tell you all the bad reviews you guys just don't know good home cooked Mexican food . I was born and raised in Mexico and give my Mexican voucher to this place ! The staff is great friendly the vibe the customers are just what you expect . I had enchiladas and bro the beans the rice on point the enchiladas where great ! My girl had a sample of 50 percent of there drink menus and none of them disappointed. We were here about 3 hours lol 3 hours having the time of our lives ! Come over I'm going to be a fixture at this place now ! Just look for the man in the la galaxy jersey say hello! This was my second time here. The first was a good experience, this visit was pretty bad. Horrible service from the waitress, she said they were making fresh chips,after 20 minutes she brought a basket of stale cold chips with salsa, never seen her again until she brought our check. Another waitress took our order and a waiter served us coffee ( $4.00 ) a cup, they never offered a refill. Sorry, this will be our last time at this place. read more

My family and I went for breakfast. We ordered their Menudo , chilaquiles , omelets and a couple other traditional plates. The food was good and the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and decor was nice. I would definitely go again especially for some evening drinks , music and karaoke. read more

The food was ok. I don't think I will be going back though. Our server was nice but kept telling us they only had cotija cheese and not regular Jack cheese. Funny thing is my enchiladas had Jack cheese. Ok now the woman's bathroom had a horrible smell. I almost threw up!! They really need to deep clean the bathroom or hire a plumber to check the sewer line. The drinks we ordered we're actually pretty good but I was afraid to drink anymore due to being afraid of having to use the bathroom!! So unfortunately I don't think I will be going back. read more

Nice big dining area with multiple TVs to watch. Fairly clean. A very casual place with great food, good prices and friendly service, fast. Took my wife their for lunch because we were in the area. I'll probably do it again the next time we are in the area. read more

First and last time here very disappointed the service was horrible very rude waitress ( Margarita ). The menudo tasted terrible not cooked correctly the meat was undercooked not a good flavor at all pieces of the meat were very big. They charged me $1.00 extra for more hominy we literally didn't even finish our food, The chorizo & eggs were burnt sent the plate back and still the second plate was still burnt, the Chile relleno plate didn't have a good flavor either. Just all around bad experience left and still hungry over priced. I did complain and she did take off the menudo off the bill but still wouldn't come back here again. When the waitress came to our table she asked if everything was okay I said no she literally grabbed my menudo plate and throw my napkin in the bowl and it splashed. As you can see from the photos this was after we couldn't even eat anymore taste was not good of the food here ended up leaving and going to eat at another place. I wouldn't go back. Others lived the $5 margarita. I asked for a BLT substituting shrimp for the bacon. Cheese on both sides, plus avocado ... must be a California Thang! $18!!! Not worth it and it was nasty. To be fair, everyone else devoured their plates! So go! The service was excellent. read more

I've lived in Pomona for quite some time, and I thoroughly enjoy our local Mexican offerings, most of which are solid, but unremarkable. I had not visited Las Margaritas before recently because the name did not inspire confidence. I have been totally missing out! Been here three times in the last few weeks, and will be a regular. This place is a cut above the "standard", and is very smoothly run by a friendly and welcoming staff. The salsa is of the blended variety with flavors of roasted tomatoes and fresh herbs, and a nice, but not overpowering, amount of spice. Corn tortillas are fresh made in house and make everything even more delightful. I'm vegetarian, so I have sampled only a portion of the menu, but my favorite is the Chile Relleno, which features a fluffy egg batter and a flavorful sauce that was certainly concocted in house and did not come out of a can. Lunch specials are a particularly good deal, but prices are really reasonable all around. It's a fun place that draws patrons of all stripes. So glad I finally made it in. read more

This place is a must go for Mexican food. They have completely remodeled the inside of the restaurant. Everything seems new. The service was great. We had the aguachiles, tostada campechana, and the molcajete. Everything was really good. My husband is very picky about his seafood and he loved it. They also now serve hard liquor. If you haven't been to this place since the remodel it is definitely worth a second try. read more

This has to be one of the worst Mexican fast food places ever. The beef for the tacos taste like 2 day old brisket cooked by a blind man with a covid tongue. The carnitas was basically a jello mold full of fat and crap. No seasoning on anything. The only thing that had a bite to it was the salsa, which was like molten lava. Also no cheese for the tacos...... and the lettuce and tomatoes were on the side. The tacos weren't even assembled.... Do yourself a favor and don't order from here. The inside was nice and warm on this rainy day which was good. Staff wasn't really friendly and answered my questions with an attitude. Food is always good here. I have gone a couple of times with the office and have gotten to order from their lunch special menu. The plates are usually very well served and they do serve you chips and salsa. However they don't give free chip refills you have to pay for them. I especially love their tacos because the meat is well seasoned and the salsa they add to it is delicious. I have also tried their seafood and am always pleased. This place usually has some tables filled up when it comes to lunch time and service is usually pretty fast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a yummy mexican joint in Pomona. read more
