Supposedly, Tostones with Camarones al ajillo
    Jacqueline B.

Please give this review your immediate attention. The establishment is in an unsanitary condition, with an unpleasant odor and visible roaches. Our order for Tostones with Camarones al ajillo was incorrect, as we received no tostones and the camarones were in salsa alfredo instead of al ajillo. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they questioned the accuracy of our order. Following an extended period of anticipation, the tostones were finally presented, however, the remainder of my order had unfortunately become cold during this interval. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, there was a conspicuous absence of any form of apology, and we were subsequently charged for the inedible components of the meal. The only positive aspects of our experience were the Diet Coke and Stella beverages. Objectively, I would rate this establishment as extremely poor. We took the food to go I plan to give it away to a homeless person but after carefully rearranging my thoughts I would't give that food to a homeless person nor my enemy if I had one. Save your money!

The first thing we noticed upon approaching the restaurant was the thunderous music. There is a bar area which had very very loud music playing. Thankfully they had a dining area enclosed with available seating which shielded the music a little bit. Definitely a party vibe not what I was expecting at 4:00 in the afternoon. We sat down and reviewed the menus and decided on our choices. The juices were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately my first choice for entree was not available so I had to scramble and figure out what else I would order. I chose the carne milanesa. As you can see by the photo it came out burned and the oil seemed old. The meat was tough and not of best quality. The beans were delicious but that was the only redeeming quality of the meal. I was so loud even in the dining room that we could not speak to each other without raising our voices and our waitress had to repeat herself multiple times. I don't know if it's this loud all the time but it was not a good experience.

This is a great place for your Colombian food fix! Look at the menu- there's a great variety of Latin dishes. I had the lunch special, which was Arroz con Pollo, chicken soup, and Maduros for about $11. It's all authentic and great tasting. If you cross your eyes and beat on your head a few times, and look at the building sideways out of the corner of your eye you will see that it used to be a Pizza Hut a long time ago. But if I didn't tell you this you never would've known it. They've added on to the front a huge indoor outdoor dining area that will be very handy if Covid shut things down again because it's able to be opened up to the outdoors yet still has a regular roof over its head. Additionally, there are some tables on the side that have nice umbrellas above them. I'm thinking you might be able to bring your dog here. I would call to ask to be sure. The wait staff is bilingual, and friendly...

Gracias a Yokaira y Paola, nos recomendaron lo mejor del menú y no se equivocaron. El Mofongo en su punto y los caldos de marisco y camarones a otro nivel. Muchas Gracias

After spending a day @ Gatorland. We were starving for Mexican food. We saw this place & decided to try it. It was not Mexican food. The waitress was not very friendly. Felt like she was pressuring us to order quickly even though the restaurant only had a few stragglers in there. Not busy @ all. Had ordered empanadas as starter. She forgot to bring that. My kids ordered fettuccine Alfredo. It was bland. S.O. ordered carne asada but he said it was more like New York steak. Also ordered calamari but it was burnt as you can see. When asked to redo it, the waitress brought calamari back & said, "Is that better?" Kinda sassy, ya think? Of course anything that isn't burnt is much better. Now as a first timer here, I can tell you that we will not be returning. Food was not impressive. Service was not impressive.

Food is really good, we only came back here because of that. But weekends is not going to be this day. Music extremely loud. We wait in the table at least 15 minutes until someone come to ask what we are going to have.

The food is horrible, tasteless. old and taste like it was from a factory assembly line. I will just toss it! NEVER AGAIN.

If you're coming here be prepared to wait. Parking is limited but the car wash next door is permanently closed so don't hesitate to park there. While the food is good and the servings are large the food takes a while to come out. Price point is also a bit steep. I had the Churrasco Marinero, and while it was good the steak was not the typical skirt steak that is used. Everything else tasted good. The mojitos were presented nicely and strong. The cuatro leches was good! Rich and sweet, the dulce de leche made a pleasant difference. Maracuya (Passion Fruit) Juice was good too. Be warned that this place is loud, too loud to hold a conversation with anyone that is not directly next to you or in front of you.

I have been going to this place over the years. It's your regular restaurant. There is an semi outdoor bar. The music is usually pretty loud. We came here after we went to Gatorland which is across the street. The food is pretty good did not like the beans that much but overall the food was good like always and the service was great.

This is our fav Colombian spot, always great for a quick lunch with lots of outdoor seating. Staff doesn't speak much English but they are nice and will be able to take your order easy. Mojitos are my go-to they make them strong. I only go in the afternoon and I try to avoid dinner time bc it's more of a party atmosphere.

The food has good taste but is not authentic Colombian food anymore, it seems to be infused with Caribbean seasoning which is great if that's what you're looking for, it is also called now las palmas latin food or fusion not longer las Palmas Colombian food so beware. Prices are reasonable, and parking can be hectic after 5pm due to music and drinks in the patio. I believe they also have hookahs for purchase.

First time at the restaurant. The chairs very close together. One of the other a little noise. The piña colada very rich. Like the food. The bathroom was 80 percent clean. Good attention. The decoration at the entrance is beautiful. If I would go back to the restaurant.

The food has always been GREAT. The service and staff have always been great. They are not overly priced and they offer a good amount of food for what it is you are paying for. Flavor profiles are great. I am creature of habit, so I get my usuals when I order here. Among those usuals include the yuca fries, beef empanadas, guava and cheese empanada (when I want something sweet), the plantains, the tostadas, and I also enjoy their bowls. I've never had their burgers or some of their other platters, but I know those that have and they have yet to be disappointed. Being that Super Rico is located on the ground level of the parking garage my job uses, it is a restaurant I frequent. They are pretty quaint inside with limited seating, but they do have a good amount of outdoor seating with covered umbrellas. So, as long as the summer rain isn't too heavy, it is usually quite nice sitting outside to eat. They will also set up screens outdoors when there are major games, like they did for the World Cup. So, if you're ever looking for a spot to watch sports, they definitely do accommodate.

It does seem that they recently remodeled or renovated the restaurant. We got the fried fish, ceviche, and seafood rice, which came as a big trio platter, and everything was really good. The seafood tasted fresh and the portions were pretty generous. We also got a sangria, and that was probably my favorite part. It was SO good. Definitely one of those sangrias where you're like, "okay, I'll have another one." Honestly, I liked everything we ordered. However, I was told by my partner that I am easily impressed. My only suggestion is to eat it there if you can. I took some home thinking I'd have great leftovers, but the food just wasn't quite the same the next day. Some things are just better fresh, and I think this is one of those places. Overall, really good food, plenty of seating, great drinks, and definitely a place I probably would have overlooked because of the location. Glad we stopped in!
