    Quesabirra tacos. W/ Margarita

This place is pretty big and has a variety of options for food. The food was very tasty! The chips and salsa were good too. I got the que birria it came with beans and rice and to my surprise those were good. I do think the beans have lark in it. Took off a star because they don't serve spirits only wine based drinks and beer. But over all the drink was tasty! The staff were super friendly and love that they had nice Spanish music. Would come back!!!

Very open seating. Not a lot of people. Our waitress was very very kind but she was the only one working do with 4 tables here so the service was very slow... The food was really good and we enjoyed rhe time. The chairs might benefit from some slide pads under the feet they are aggressively loud when moved. My mom loves it here and said its her favorite so I know we will return. The salsa was good tonight I like that it has alitrle kick but needed salt and wish I could have had more. The chips are so lightband crisp that was a mega win for us ! Also the food presentation is very nice. They also made breakfast at dinner time. So MEGA WIN for the kids pancakes.

Staff here are so nice and friendly! We weren't aware of the time they closed and came in right at 8. At first they said they were closed, but ended up telling us it was okay. We've been here before, so we put in our order right away and our food came out pretty quick. We got the asada nachos and al pastor wet burrito. The portions were huge and very shareable. Although they were closed, they didn't rush us at all. We still felt bad though, and ate as fast as we could to get out and let them finish up.

Spicy Margarita! Refreshing and sweet with some salty and spicy after. It's good!

Wow!! The food and drinks were awesome! We had menudo (sorry I didn't take a picture... I was hungry haha). We also had the two enchiladas and crispy taco, I also got the spicy margarita which was a sweet and savory refreshing taste.. I really enjoyed and could have had three if I wasn't with my family!. I enjoyed this place and I will be coming back again! What a great place! Lots of space and servers are nice and welcoming.

One of the better Mexican restaurants in the area and definitely worth checking out. The portions are huge -- perfect for sharing or if you're coming in really hungry. The chips and dip were fresh and a great way to start the meal. We ordered the nachos, which were good overall, but I do wish they were a bit heavier on the cheese and meat. The fajitas came out sizzling and packed with flavor -- easily one of the highlights of the meal. I'd probably skip anything with shredded beef next time. It was unfortunately super dry and pretty flavorless. My crispy taco was essentially a fried shell filled with shredded beef. I'll give them credit for being generous with the portion of meat, but quantity doesn't make up for dryness. Service, unfortunately, was below average. There were only two waitresses working, and it showed. It was hard to get their attention at times, and we had to wait longer than expected for refills and check-ins. They seemed stretched thin, which took away from the overall experience. Overall, still a solid spot with big portions and some standout dishes.

I recently moved to San Dimas and I was looking for a new good Mexican restaurant and found Las Palmas, me and my friend came on Monday for lunch walk in and was greeted right away. Server sat us down and took our drinks so right away she gave us good recommendations, they give you complementary chips and salsa. Food came out and was delicious. We were very happy. Very relaxed place ambience was nice not too loud. Overall everything was delicious and excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

I can't even keep track of how many times I have been here! So many Sunday mornings for breakfast! + the pozole and albondigas are great! Definitely two of my go to's, they also come with tortillas. + pancakes there are really good! Super fluffy! I always have to order a side of pancakes for the table + Maria is an awesome server!! Super friendly and always takes care of us! Makes sure there is decaf coffee brewing when I come in with my mom. + there are tV's often playing different sports + breakfast burritos are great, I usually can only eat half + they have happy hour on the weekdays which i definitely gotta try out

Was working in the area and was craving nachos so we came into Las Palmas. Nachos were huge shareable for at least 2-4 people We added steak for an extra cost That was an appetizer but easily can be an entree. Second we ordered the Molcajete which was very very authentic so flavorful and shareable for 2-4 people would highly recommend an come back staff is friendly thank you to our server Ray now they do have a margarita which isn't your typical margarita and we had some wine would recommend trying a michelada or wine margarita was a solid 5/10 Molcajete 10/10 Nachos 10/10 Side of Salsa 10/10 They do offer chips and salsa 10/10 Wine 10/10

First off the service was great, our waitress was very attentive, coming by several times to check on us. Our table shared the ribeye fries, they were very tasty and good amount for 2-4 people to share. The caldo de camarones had a very good flavor with plenty of shrimp. The ceviche serving was also plenty for 2 or more people, it does have alot of veggies but it was good. Will definitely return.

Menudo. Hot tasty and with toppings in the side.

Great Mexican restaurant here in San Dimas. It's located in a great area surrounded by shopping and food. It's a great size restaurant with a many tables that can accommodate small or large parties. The restaurant is clean and cutely themed. The staff were very friendly and quick to get us our drinks and chips and salsa. The food itself was delicious and full of flavor. I love their rice and beans. So happy we found this place. Will definitely be back and I recommend everyone give them a try.

STILL love this place so much after so many years. The delicious food, the kind staff and the clean, pretty restaurant... Las Palmas presentation of their food does not compare to any local Mexican restaurants in San Dimas.

If you would like cold food, cold coffee with the taste that it has been sitting around for hours, and an older Hispanic waitress who is both rude and slow. This is the place for you!! Everything was cold but the presentation was nice I guess.

    Is the food halal?

    No it is not

In the photos it shows they had family packs do they still offer that today and is it still $35? If yes I want this.

    No longer available.

I tried calling this business multiple times yesterday at 3:00 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. Does anybody now if they revised their business hours? There are times I have called and somebody picks up and hangs up on me.

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. Overall, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a good, local neighborhood spot. It offers affordable choice that are prepared "good enough." I wouldn't drive a long distance for this spot, but it's a decent option if you're already nearby. 4.5 out of 5
