LAS PIÑATAS KITCHEN $19.99 brunch from 9:00am-2:00pm We have stop by this restaurant a few times for breakfast on the weekend and always have a delicious meal but today we were surprised to learn they have a brunch special and decided to give it a try ....they have a great selection of American and Mexican breakfast lunch with popular dishes and drink ...not to mention a full bar ... I will definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to stop by .... Here is a few pictures and video of a small selection

Well the good first. The place is very clean...even the restroom. The staff is very friendly and the service was on point. The ambiance is ok and nice Spanish music at just the right level. There is a small sign when you walk in that reads now serving Italian food...ahem thought this was a Mexican restaurant. Turns out it's Mexican food in one room and Italian in another. Ok?!? Now to the food. Chips not fresh and the red salsa is like water. They served a green salsa that actually was the only thing I liked. Everything was processed, bland and really not good. The beans, rice and cheese were definitely canned and flavorless. Too bad really, I hope they can up their game as they are very nice people and have a great location. Still not sure about the Mexican/Italian thing but maybe the Italian is better.

    Great room!

YALLLLLL, This restaurant has been in Tomball for my whole life! Recently they have changed ownership and let me tell you what !!!! Seriously I would say the best Mexican food I have had in years! There were four of us we all had different things and everything from the green sauce to the charro beans, chips, rice, sweet tea and queso was amazing! Dont walk run to go get some fantastic food in your belly !! This place has great rooms for large parties and romantic dinners .. Can't wait to go back and I have been telling everyone about this place all day.

As for the service, everyone I've encountered has been very nice and kind they ask you to leave your stuff at the table and they'll clean it up later. They check on you. I don't go there for the ambience, but it's decent for a family outing.

The restaurant has a casual, vibrant atmosphere with a Louisiana-inspired vibe that makes it a nice spot for hearty meals. The menu features classics like po'boys, fried seafood platters, gumbo, and other spicy favorites, with generous portions and satisfying taste. Parking is convenient, with a decent-sized lot right in front that makes arrival easy. Service was friendly and efficient, with attentive staff delivering hot food in a timely manner. It was surprising to find the place pretty empty during the visit, which allowed for a quiet, relaxed meal but seemed unusual for the quality of the food. This spot is best enjoyed as an occasional treat--everything on the menu tends to be heavily fried, making it indulgent but not ideal for regular visits for health reasons. When the craving strikes every couple of years, Cajun Street delivers a flavorful experience worth the stop.

Even though there were people, service wasn't slowed down and food came out fast. Their menu is long- sorta over stimulating- but ask the waitress what to get. She did not point me in the wrong direction. I had their shrimp ceviche which was spicy. The fish taco was really good. It was hot and not just regular hot but pipping hot! Served on corn tortilla. On the table they had all these different sauces. I love me a sauce selection. The place is affordable and great! I would definitely go back!

The space itself is clean and inviting with a casual, relaxed vibe. They lean into the seafood theme with some lemon trees and a mermaid sculpture, and it feels bright and welcoming without trying too hard. Parking was straightforward in the shared lot out front for the strip center--no issues finding a spot. The waitstaff was friendly. We started with the ceviche, which was solid--fresh and flavorful, easily the best part of the meal. The tacos, though, were just okay. Tortillas were fine, but the seasoning on the fillings felt off. All the salsas were pretty subpar and didn't add much. We ordered the al pastor fish taco, which was probably the best of the bunch (still nothing special). The regular pork al pastor tacos were cut into cubes instead of the traditional shaved style, and that made the meat overcooked and tough to chew. Overall it was an average experience. Probably won't be back.

Made it here just in the nick of time before crawfish season was over. A current obsession of my…read morefriends and I is crawfish and we've been trying to try all the hot spots during the season. This place came highly recommended online so we made the drive all the way out to Tomball on a Sunday afternoon. Their hours vary so make sure and check the times before heading over. On this day they opened at 11. We came around noon and the place was popping. I don't know how to explain the general area. I feel like it's a few businesses on one plot of land. There's buildings and trailers to your left and right and not sure if they are all one entity. Han's is located at the back of the property in a little red trailer. You order at the trailer and then take your ticket to the side of the trailer where you hand over your ticket and get your food. There was very minimal staff interaction but they were friendly enough. The menu is very cut and dry. Crawfish and/or shrimp with minimal add ons and dipping sauces. It comes in one flavor basically which is a good ole Louisiana Cajun flavor. If you're a big fan of Viet Cajun style, this is not that. It almost looks unseasoned, but trust me, there is still flavor permeating throughout. Current prices are on a lower side compared to other popular spots. There is a minimum 2 pound limit and specials on 5 pounds. Shrimp is sold in 1/2 pound increments. Crawfish come with one corn and one potato. I got the minimum, plus 1/2 pound of headless, easy peel shrimp and added a sausage. Once you order, you walk a few feet to a team of people whom will put your order together. So basically there isn't a wait. If you want a drink, there are options at an outside bar and an inside barn bar. Seating is mostly outside with inside seating in the barn. Outside seating is mostly shaded and a perfect spot to set up shop when eating mud bugs. The crawfish was warm, but I like mine fresh out and steaming. So they are making big batches and plating is what I'm thinking. I liked the flavors alot. It had a light kick to it as is. I purchased a dry seasoning as well as garlic butter and combined it to make a delicious dipping sauce. To me, one of my favorite things was the sausage. I judge a place by that. The one offered here was delicious and had a nice cheesy, spicy bite to it. Han's is a long way from home but the drive here was worth it. I will definitely be making this a regular in my rotation during crawfish season.

The reviews are really great for this place, so I had high hopes. Getting here was quite easy, parking was a bit full by the time we arrived, but we manged to all find spaces. You walk up to the trailer and place your order. They had a special going 5 lbs for $40, which I think was a pretty good deal. Comes with corn and potato, we opted for all corn, and then I added a sausage. You walk over to the tent, hand them your order card, and they hand it over to you. All the crawfish is seasoned in one flavor, and then you can just dipping options. We went with the garlic butter, and then tried the cajun mayo dip as well. The seating is great, they have covered and uncovered, and then an inside space. We went with a covered outdoor table, bc they were covered by trees, and it was a nice day out. We opened up our boxes, camera ate first, and then we dug in. The seasoning on the crawfish was perfect for me. Some would've liked it a bit more spicy, so if you like spicy, bring some hot sauce or a little ziplock with your fave spicy seafood seasoning. The sausage was really good too, had a nice snap to it. One of my friends said it had cheese in it, which I didn't notice until my last bite, when I got a biteful of melty cheese. That was a new one for me. Albeit a nice surpise, just wasn't expecting it, as I hadnt had that at a seafood boil before, more so of a bbq type of thing. There's also an area you can order drinks, sodas, and waters, and lots of big bins to throw your plates away. There's a bathroom on the inside, so if you need to go, or just wanna wash your hands. I hadn't been out to this area before too, so I wonder if they do live music. It was a great day to be outside, enjoy the weather and some crawfish. I'll be back fasho!
