The pupusas are good but my only issues is the customer service. I have ordered before and had the same issue... I place the order over the phone (I speak Spanish) my husband who is mixed and doesn't speak Spanish usually pays/picks up and I'm always told (10 minute wait) but it's always way longer. Last time the lady kept telling my husband he was a doordash driver and no matter how many times he told her no he had an order to pick up (no name on order) gave him attitude both times. The restaurant name tells you what to order.... The Pupusas are amazing! My favorite is the bean and cheese. Fresh made Pupusas, topped with picked cabbage, and fresh salsa. Yum! But they have so many different variations, chicken, pork, beans, cheese, zucchini... you can experiment for quite some time finding your favorite. The restaurant is nice. Simple, clean, and the service is very friendly. It does take a while for the food to come out, which means to me, they are cooking everything fresh. So.... that's not a bad thing! If you are ordering takeout though, it is a bit frustrating, because for some reason they do not answer their phone. It is hit or miss...... very hard to call your order in ahead. They have a pretty extensive menu, El Salvadorian, Mexican, and even Burgers and Fries. I personally have stuck to the El Salvadorian side of the menu and I have not been disappointed! read more

This was my husband's dish and I had one bite, then another bite, then... Decided to visit for the Sopa de Gallina India and the Caldo de Res. Restaurant was not busy at all today. Wallows in at 12:00 and by 12:45 I inquired about the soups. The waitress states we are next to be served. The individual at the table next to use gets his order right away and arrived way after we did. I inquire again about our order and the response we get is they are about to roast the chicken for my soup. 45 + minutes to roast a precooked half chicken breast is plain outrageous. We were on a time crunch and had to walk out. According to my friend, there seems to always be delays when dining in at this location. This was my first and last visit here. read more

Usually I write positive reviews, but I am totally unimpressed! I ordered post mates, my driver was amazing and very courteous, being that they told him it would be a 30 minute extended wait for the food. Anyways he kept me informed which was thoughtful. I ordered 3 Pupusas - chicken and cheese is all I received (3 of them) . I did order one with pork but never got it! Honestly they were just blah! Super oily and soggy! The chicken taco was alright - nothing that would make me have any desire to return. Lastly the bistec encebollado, was absolutely nothing to rave about. I'm Puerto Rican and this is a dish that I absolutely love!! Of Course I wasn't expecting it to taste anything like how my family makes it, but the flavors were just not on point, the rice and beans were just not tasty either! The pupusas are pretty big, and since they're only $2.50 I can fill up for less than $10 out the door The service isn't exactly warm, and they do take pretty long so be ready to wait. If I could do 0 I would without hesitation. This place has the worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life. The lady named Leslie she took my order 4 pupusas and 1 chicken soup. I waited 40 mins for that small order and when I approached her to ask how much longer for my food her response was we are under staffed mins you there was only 1 table which btw she never approached them to even ask if they wanted water. I literally watched a whole soccer game waiting for 4 pupusas and 1 soup. My husband and I visited Vegas and were looking for a place to eat before we headed home. We originally were going somewhere else, they were closed so we just happen to see this place and decided to try it. We ordered pupusas and they were the best we ever had! I had cheese and my husband had Revueltas and pork. The curtido was tasty too. The staff was super nice. Bathrooms were very clean. I'm so glad that other place was closed and we found this gem. Came for pupusas a couple of times. The revueltas are my pick and they're okay, but not the best. Some days they're thick with filling, other days they're not, but they're always super greasy, even compared to other pupusa places. Stumbled onto this place one day driving by and piqued my curiousity. I do love pupusas but it's been years since and the BF never had one. We started off with some of their horchata which is Salvadorean style. That style is not milky cinnamon but had much more of a strong cinnamon, nutmeg and chocolate flavor to it. Liked it, but it was perhaps a bit too strongly flavored for me. We got two pupusas - bean& cheese and the revueltas (mixed). Theirs was good and served piping hot. Curtido was nice and the chilled slaw with a hot pupusa was a really nice temperature and flavor contrast. I prefered the mixed one as that is what I'm used to eating in LA, the BF preferred the bean&cheese one. BF ordered to share a garlic shrimp plate. The shrimp was fresh, cooked right and the seasoning was decent. It came with white rice, beans that were more liquidy/pasty, salad, tortillas (basically unfilled pupusas). Service was decent enough. I think I would come back here for the pupusas for sure. They're cheap, filling, and done really well here. Definitely, their namesake is solid. read more

My favorite place to get freshly made to order pupusas! Far better than the El Salvador Restaurant (or at least better than the buffalo location). I'm an octo-lavo vegetarian/pescetarian so I always order the zucchini and cheese pupusas and the beans and cheese. If I'm dining in, I get the Sopa 7 Mares: 7 Seas Soup (delicious with plenty of seas food!). The zucchini pupusas are soooo good. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with flavor, but usually it's juicy and seasoned perfectly. Other times the zucchini has no flavor, so I dust my pupusa breading with garlic salt. Either way it's a MUST TRY!! The bean and cheese is fail-proof and always good! I also order their coffee when I dine in, but it's plain. Nothing too special. The prices are reasonable and the staff are nice. Not overly amazing in service, but I've never had a problem. Its clean with plenty of seating and parking. This is a small very ethnic restaurant with great prices and even better food. I finally had the opportunity to come with my daughter here and we ordered one of each Pupusa, knowing we couldn't eat them all, but hey they were under $2 each and we wanted a "taste" We liked all of them, but REALLY loved the ones with meat in them. The chicken, pork and beef were super tasty. Then we loved the zucchini and last was the refried beans one. We felt the bean pupusa was lacking in flavor. When you try these El Salvadorian "quesadillas", make sure to top them with the coleslaw and the sweet sauce they serve them with. They are good on their own, but when you comibine all those flavors and textures, they become REALLY good. This is a casual place, that is great for the entire family and it won't break your savings. I live across town and drive all the way home to find that they only gave me 3. I paid for 4. Also I learned Salvadoran horchata is nothing like that sweet Mexican elixir. It almost tastes like ground up saltless popcorn. The drink cost 4.50...Umm what? A bit upset about the rude service and my missing food I call the number. Busy. Try again a bit later. Busy. Give up and bite into one of the pupusas I ordered. Basic asf!!! No flavor! My total order was just under $15. I only ordered 4 but got 3, but apparently they felt that 4 pupusas require two GIANT sandwich bags of curtido. And of course being watery it was a mess to pull out of the bag. As a laid off sous I find this unacceptable. If you're going to serve subpar food at least make it neat and presentable. They may as well have put it all in a blender and made me a smoothie. Pupusas are tasty and filling. The plantain plate with beans and sour cream is my favorite. The service is what kills it for me. We sit down, and it's a good 15 minutes before we are acknowledged. At that point we are ready to order so we tell the lady, im assuming owner because she is dressed in nice clothes, what we want to eat and drink. We order 4 mixed Pupusas, nachos, rice and beans, and the plantain plate with 2 waters. The nachos come out first and they are ok. Ground beef, tomatoes, beans and sour cream top them. The nacho chips are homemade so they are warm and have a nice crunch to them. Pupusas come out shortly after. They are hot and delicious and are served with all the accompaniments. In the meantime we need refills and no one is to be found. So we have to walk up to the counter and ask for them. They finally bring out the plantains and I don't mind because they are sweet so it's kind of like dessert. They are cooked perfectly. So we are just about finished and the owner comes to our table with the rice and beans and says sorry they just made them right now. We tell her no thanks we are just about done with our meal. She seemed irritated but it's not my fault they forgot about it until last minute. I probably won't be dining in again, but since I like the food, I may try pickup. read more
