De li cious First time visiting this place and was pleasantly surprised with all their options. Also had a coco preparado and likewise was perfection. My new go to for Mexican Antojitos. Cash only. ATM available indoors. Service was excellent.

I have been coming here for many years. They without a doubt have some of the best fresas con crema around. You get a good amount of fresas and the crema has such a great taste. Portion wise they're definitely on the bigger side and seem reasonable for the price. To this day they're has yet to be something I don't like. Service is great, they're all always in such a great mood. You'll always walk-in to them playing an old school Mexican movie/show of music. This has definitely become a go to spot.

All right foos if you are a real Mexican you know what's up with tejuino. This is an ancient drink made by indigenous people in Mexico. It's made by fermenting corn and lots of other cool things and process. Get this to fix la cruda (hangover) Jaa jk not sure if that is scientifically proven. If your not down foo they also have lots of other Mexican and Chicano treats including chamangos ice cream de garafa or nieve artesanal, sandwhiches and nachos just to name a few. So if your socks are low don't bother but if you want that street cred come on through all races welcome.

    Not worth the high price!!!!

Two small pieces of Mango in this LARGE FRUIT SALAD which is mostly cucumbers. Cucumbers theoretically is not a fruit hence the item on the menu says "fruit salad." ten dollars for 25-30 small pieces of "fruit." One small lime, salt, and chili. RIP OFF IF YOU ASK ME!! Next time I'll just make a bucket for $10!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're someone who cares about supporting local businesses, this place is a must try. The tortas are always delicious but can take long depending on how busy it is so I would suggest calling and ordering ahead of time. They have a pretty big menu, ranging from licuados to nachos and tortas but they're famous for their tejuinos. I definitely suggest checking out this business as you'll always find the owner there working alongside her team. There's limited parking in the street but you can usually find some extra street parking around the corner.

For starters this business is CASH ONLY. They have an atm in there and charge $2 to withdraw money so if your planning on going bring some mula. Now onto the review The family and I went we got Diablitos, Fresas con crema, an elote, Ice cream, lemonade and nachos. The Diablitos were good honestly better than mangonadas I've tried from other fruterías the fact that they use shaved ice like in snow cones makes it so much better and it's only $5 The ice cream was good it was nice and creamy. The elote was just as good. Cherry on top is you can add crushed hot Cheetos or takis to it the lemonade is fresh and thirst quenching especially now that it's getting warm. Fresas con crema were on a whole different level!! I've never tasted crema like that before and the strawberries are just the right amount of sweetness, top it off with granola and you've got yourself heaven in a cup. The nachos are OMG that's how nachos should taste. Overall it's a great place to come grab a snack for a low price. Stop by and try it out for yourself

Sandwiches well tortas are made here

This little hole in the wall is the best. If you want a home made feeling this is the place. They have elote (corn) so many different ways that I haven't had the chance to try them all. They have different types of drinks that you can't get any where else.. well maybe if you cross the border. My favorite is the tejuino with two scoops of lime ice cream .. trust me it's so good.. you feel like it's going to be a lot offering a large but I always find myself being satisfied.. The only warning is bring cash..

We got so lucky that this joint was right next to our hotel. Ups on arriving we were greeted by the friendliest staff. We didn't know it was only cash at the moment and she was sweet enough to wait for us even though she was starting to get a line. The tejuino was sooooo good. Probably the best I've had in a while. We also tried the tamarind ice cream and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back for more!

    Cindy S.

Bought an elote en vaso and a strawberry raspado. Both were delicious! The elote tastes great, not out of a can or watery, it's perfect. The raspados sweetness is just right

A lil bit of everything. Raspados and Nieves are my favorite

Where else have you seen this? Because of the brewing process, there's no alcohol but you still get the floral taste of the hops and boy was it delicious. It reminded me of a rose latte. My friend got a hot Nana's mocha and it was a chocolate heaven! I loved it as well. I love the space; very cool vibes with lots of art, big space and they also serve burgers! I have to give that a try next time. They also serve alcohol (wine, beer) and saw some unusual brands that I've never seen before.

Food: Chili Crisp BFast Sando- (Biroche, Egg, Cheese, Bacon, Chiptole Aioli, Sesame Chili Crisp) Tots with House Seasoning - with Ranch Cup of Coffee Buko Pandan Latte Hot & Cold First the drinks were yummy. The hot Buko Pandan was stronger in flavor than the cold/iced drink. The tots were yummy and crisped perfectly but I'm not sure about the supposedly ranch dip. It was tangy for me. The Chilio Crisp Bfast Sando was delicious. It was so good that I want to return soon and have it again. The worker taking our order was very nice. He even mentioned about a restaurant in Vegas and asked if I've ever tried it-Public Us and yes I have. Overall, a great spot that can get very busy in the AM. The front window area has seats on one side and seats outside. It worked for us. Definitely will return.

Lets talk about the vibes first...amazing decor and vibes, decor and walls and atmosphere is very cool and unique I truly love it so much. The staff is very nice, offering suggestions on drinks with big smiles and welcoming energy. Now the drinks and food: the drink I got last time was an iced mocha (no picture but I remember it was very good). This time I went with my mom and we both got the "Moon" drink.. a Chai/Matcha which was such a good drink, I want like a 40oz of it to take with me home for the week. I also ordered the pesto turkey sandwhich to share and I can not express how good this was. Perfectly crispy, juicy and fresh. Took the first bite and literally gasped because not only was the bread toasted to perfection but the veggies and turkey were so flavorful. The veggies and pesto and turkey were also layered in a way that made every bite delectable and that to me is art. Loved it, want more of it and I WILL be back to try more drinks and sandwhiches.

It's third ave I mean if you are from San Diego you know it's either neighborhood parking or the meters. Not a big deal though. I am greeted by Karely and her big smile, one of the baristas. It is tiny location but long, they have two gender neutral bathrooms at the end. A few tables to sit down inside and out. A cute bench with the view of third ave traffic. Interior decor is super cute I loved, one of my favs was this board they have which is a basically you pay a coffee forward and you put the sticky there for the next person to get their drink. I totally don't work there so I would just reconfirm what can be redeemed. Drink: I get an iced dirty chai WITH banana cold foam. 10/10 must try. They also offer matcha for you matcha lovers. Grind house has found a new customer and yes, I've already brought so many friends here. My only suggestion would be to maybe have a phone charging station, that's all! :)

This review is mainly about the service. (I also don't write reviews on places unless the service is actually just horrible) I went today, I started my order and the lady turned around after asking for the first two things without even letting me finish my order. I figured that when she came back with the first things I'd let her know that I wanted one more thing. She then came back with the first two things which were a sandwich and a smoothie. She asked "will that be all" and I said I would like another sandwich. I don't know what triggered her but I could tell she thought I was telling her that the sandwich was made wrong when that was not at all what I was telling her I was simply telling her I wanted another one (she btw kept repeating this for like 2 minutes before she realized that I was telling her I wanted one more sandwich). In the many years I've been coming here she has always had some sort of attitude, but this time she was actually so rude. Her tone and her expressions towards me were horrible. She needs to keep her attitude in check. So many people who have gone here that I know always speak of her horrible demeanor (so I know it isn't just me). Also after I said "ushh" (as a sigh of like wth just happened) she yelled out "USH QUÉ". The other lady is rlly nice. But this one *the tall one* RUDE.

Served with a heavy serving of pickled jalapeños. Next time, I will ask for onion on the sandwich. Green juice was great! She made it right before my eyes, all the different fruits and veggies getting juiced right there to order. There were 2-3 bar stools right at the ledge of the walk up counter available to sit at but I just devoured this in my car in the parking lot. $17.75 later and happy tummy.

I've been twice to the new location including its soft opening weekend. I would skip the somewhat overpriced spam musubi. The fruit sandos are good if that's your thing. I always find them to be too rich with all the cream and this place was no exception. I've tried all the savory sandos on the menu though, and they're solid. You really can't go wrong. The bobas are pretty good but don't compete with the elite boba shops like 3cat or momofuku. The corn hojicha is what I liked the most out of everything I've tried. Finally, service is average to above average. The person behind the register is usually a disinterested teenagers or 20-something employee but an older guy in the back, presumably a manager, tries hard to accommodate customer requests.
