I've been planning to get laser hair removal for years as a treat after having kids, and now I'm half way through the treatments and am very happy with the results. Sure, it's painful but I've found applying numbing cream in advance, wearing socks and a sweatshirt and listening to music/watching a show with headphones helps distract from the pain. Also, it's over in an hour (or less depending on your treatment) and the results are worth it. I'm hoping the results only continue to improve and that it lasts a long time. Did a clear + brilliant session yesterday and when I go, I always ask for their nurse Allison because she has great bedside manner, is knowledgable and answered all my questions. Most importantly, she knows what she is doing and has tried most of what LaserAway offers on herself so she knows what she's talking about. Luma at the front was also very friendly and welcoming so I felt very comfortable at my appointment. She answered all my questions patiently and in detail, and I had a lot of questions! She was patient and professional. Location was a little further than I normally like to drive because I'm coming all the way up from Fullerton but it's worth it. Parking was easy to find right in front of the store and establishment was clean. Most importantly, I never felt rushed, ignored, or like they were too busy to take care of me. Lake Forest Laser Away Team provide excellent customer services from consultation to my fourth Clear and Brilliant sessions. The nurses Morgan is by far my favorite nurse. She is so professional, excellent bedside manner and walk through every step with you. She discuss possible treatments that can help my skin. I requested my future appointments with Morgan. I had an appt. schedule for today. I spoke with the front desk and I explained my last session. Another nurse perform the service and was painful. She said it was hormonal. I did not feel any sand paper texture on my face after the last session. So, I requested Nurse Morgan to see me instead of the other nurse. When the other nurse came into the room and I told her that I requested Nurse Morgan in the front. She went outside talk to the front and came back not happy. She told me while I was laying on the bed that she was offended. First off, I am a client and I have a right to request who I want to see. I paid over $2K for 6 sessions. Plus, I was already in communication with Nurse Morgan regarding future IPL treatments. Thank goodness Nurse Morgan came in to treat me and I explained to her my experience during my last session. I told the front desk what the other nurse said to me. I would give that nurse less stars. Laser Away Lake Forest and Nurse Morgan deserve 5 stars review despite the other nurse. read more

My appointment was at 11:45AM for the 2nd half of my syringe and on top of me waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time to even get the numbing cream, I wait another 30 minutes for them to tell me they are running behind. It has already been past an hour and I am sitting here with numbing cream on my lips still unseen. They should have mentioned beforehand they were running behind so I could reschedule if necessary. I am beyond irritated and aggravated. The front desk girls have no urgency of the matter either. They keep telling me different times of "how much longer" when it's been way past the 5-10 more minutes mark. I would leave if I didn't already PAY for my service. read more

Disappointed! I purchased an IPL package in February and sadly, the experience has been subpar. (I tried to be patient due to the lockdown, but no excuse for basic customer care!) After multiple cancellations, excessive hold times and difficulty scheduling service, it is important to alert others. Thankfully, I purchased a reasonably priced package, therefore, I haven't suffered the excessive fees that others have shared here. Also worth noting, the IPL is "watered down" as far as intensity, resulting in limited results. The explanation provided "we like to do a test run on your first visit". Doesn't seem like a good value to me as I've had many IPL treatments elsewhere. Hoping this helps other IPL customers. There are many other reputable "non-chain" providers in the area that might be a better value. Also hoping LaserAway establishes better front office and business practices in the future. read more

I had a consultation with Michelle, and I paid 3k for my Brazilian, under arm, abs and face. When I was not paid yet, she told me that they will be so flexible on time. My first to treatments were good. After that, I stop getting results and that was because the nurses did my treatments without any patient and so fast, and they missed some part. I told Michelle to tell them please do not miss any part. She told me that you don't understand, they didn't miss any part. It's normal that your hair growing patchy. I knew that, but my hair grown was not patchy. You could completely see the whole miss part... On three of my treatments, I arrived less than ten minutes late, and they told me that they can't start on my treatment because I missed my appointment. However, if I was on time, I had to wait at least 5 minutes for their staff to get ready. Whenever you go somewhere by appointment, they usually give you 15 minutes to show up. This is not how you supose to treat customer!! Also, one time I went there about 7 minutes late, and they told me we will start your treatment but we don't have time to do all parts. Come back again for the abs next week. After my other parts done, I went out of the room and see the nurse standing there do nothing, but she doesn't have time to do my treatment! I mean they have to go above and beyond with customer but they don't. Also, when they easily reschedule you just because you were few minutes late, your season's gonna be later that 6 weeks, and you won't get the result, and by the end they will tell you that we are not responsible that You didn't get result. I didn't want to post a bad review, but when I told all these things to the lady behind the desk she just looked at me, said nothing. She didn't care at all.
