First off, as a man going into a place like this can be really...well... emasculating and awkward... but the staff here all make you feel like home and they keep it lively. Did a clear + brilliant session yesterday and when I go, I always ask for their nurse Allison because she has great bedside manner, is knowledgable and answered all my questions. Most importantly, she knows what she is doing and has tried most of what LaserAway offers on herself so she knows what she's talking about. Luma at the front was also very friendly and welcoming so I felt very comfortable at my appointment. She answered all my questions patiently and in detail, and I had a lot of questions! She was patient and professional. Location was a little further than I normally like to drive because I'm coming all the way up from Fullerton but it's worth it. Parking was easy to find right in front of the store and establishment was clean. Most importantly, I never felt rushed, ignored, or like they were too busy to take care of me. I've been planning to get laser hair removal for years as a treat after having kids, and now I'm half way through the treatments and am very happy with the results. Sure, it's painful but I've found applying numbing cream in advance, wearing socks and a sweatshirt and listening to music/watching a show with headphones helps distract from the pain. Also, it's over in an hour (or less depending on your treatment) and the results are worth it. I'm hoping the results only continue to improve and that it lasts a long time. My appointment was at 11:45AM for the 2nd half of my syringe and on top of me waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time to even get the numbing cream, I wait another 30 minutes for them to tell me they are running behind. It has already been past an hour and I am sitting here with numbing cream on my lips still unseen. They should have mentioned beforehand they were running behind so I could reschedule if necessary. I am beyond irritated and aggravated. The front desk girls have no urgency of the matter either. They keep telling me different times of "how much longer" when it's been way past the 5-10 more minutes mark. I would leave if I didn't already PAY for my service. read more

Lake Forest Laser Away Team provide excellent customer services from consultation to my fourth Clear and Brilliant sessions. The nurses Morgan is by far my favorite nurse. She is so professional, excellent bedside manner and walk through every step with you. She discuss possible treatments that can help my skin. I requested my future appointments with Morgan. I had an appt. schedule for today. I spoke with the front desk and I explained my last session. Another nurse perform the service and was painful. She said it was hormonal. I did not feel any sand paper texture on my face after the last session. So, I requested Nurse Morgan to see me instead of the other nurse. When the other nurse came into the room and I told her that I requested Nurse Morgan in the front. She went outside talk to the front and came back not happy. She told me while I was laying on the bed that she was offended. First off, I am a client and I have a right to request who I want to see. I paid over $2K for 6 sessions. Plus, I was already in communication with Nurse Morgan regarding future IPL treatments. Thank goodness Nurse Morgan came in to treat me and I explained to her my experience during my last session. I told the front desk what the other nurse said to me. I would give that nurse less stars. Laser Away Lake Forest and Nurse Morgan deserve 5 stars review despite the other nurse. read more

Disappointed! I purchased an IPL package in February and sadly, the experience has been subpar. (I tried to be patient due to the lockdown, but no excuse for basic customer care!) After multiple cancellations, excessive hold times and difficulty scheduling service, it is important to alert others. Thankfully, I purchased a reasonably priced package, therefore, I haven't suffered the excessive fees that others have shared here. Also worth noting, the IPL is "watered down" as far as intensity, resulting in limited results. The explanation provided "we like to do a test run on your first visit". Doesn't seem like a good value to me as I've had many IPL treatments elsewhere. Hoping this helps other IPL customers. There are many other reputable "non-chain" providers in the area that might be a better value. Also hoping LaserAway establishes better front office and business practices in the future. read more

This is for their Thermage Flx review. DO NOT USE THEM! They scam you with used flx probe! I purchased their whole face and eye thermage, and only got 600 pulses! The real certified Thermage Flx should show you with brand new unopened probes, one for eyes and one for face. Their so called nurse didn't show me any new opened probes and didn't change any probes when doing eyes and face. and the eye probe section should have 250-450 pulses; whereas the whole rest face should have 900 pulses. The nurse told me the whole face and eyes for me were only cost 600 pulses!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more
