Highly recommend Lash away studio and my lash tech Dustin. I've gotten classic lashes and volume lashes I started going here in 2022. Location is very clean, modern, has great music as you relax for a few hours. The receptionist is outgoing and professional tending to clients and techs. I love my hybrid lashes (classic & volume) help my busy mom and coaching schedule without having to wear much make up while still looking ready to take on the day. Highly recommended this location.

WHY I WENT HERE: - wanted to treat myself to a beauty service - have NEVER gotten any kind of eyelash service done before and did a lot of research prior to reaching out to different companies once I decided I wanted a lash lift vs. lash extension - Lash Away Studio was the only establishment I reached out to that offered a keratin lash lift THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - not gonna lie, I did get lost following the GPS to get to this place; had to make a U-Turn before finally realizing that it was in the plaza off Riverside Blvd and Florin Rd (where Grocery Outlet is located) THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - VERY nice! super bright, clean, modern CUSTOMER SERVICE (BEFORE APPOINTMENT): - I initially reached out to the business (http://www.lashawaystudio.com/) on their "Contact" portion of the page to inquire about the lash lift services (I specifically wanted a keratin lash lift) - I received an email that stated "Thank you for the inquiry. Our lash lift service is $85 and the service is about 45 mins - 1 hour. A deposit of $20 via Venmo is required for this service. At this time we are only accepting cash/Venmo. Please provide full name, phone number and desired date and time for booking and we will try to accommodate to it. Lash lift services are only on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Please let us know if you may have any further questions. Thank you." - I replied with the requested information from the email and in addition asked "Questions I have for the appointment: - what pre care and post care information do I need to know and/or products I need to purchase? - will you let me know the Venmo handle to make the deposit or will you request it from me?" - shortly after I received confirmation from the business that my Venmo deposit of $20 was received, my appointment was booked and leading up to the appointment itself I received both text and email confirmations and reminders of what to expect, etc. CUSTOMER SERVICE (DURING APPOINTMENT): - I was running late to my appointment, got lost for a bit, but I did get there before the 10 minute cancellation window was up - Anna was super nice, warm, and welcoming! She keeps the door locked until/unless you have an appointment so she's there to greet you - you're given a clipboard of a COVID-19 survey as well as an appointment survey (what you're there for, allergies and/or skin sensitivities, lifestyle questions, etc.) - prior to my keratin lash lift service starting, I used the restroom (since the service can take 45 minutes to an hour per her email) - I loved the room and cleanliness and care taken into everything; you place your personal items on the hooks on the wall before laying down on the client table (a tissue-like paper you see when you go see the doctor's is used for cleanliness per client) - the process: lay down on the table, keep eyes closed (unless instructed to open them), area surrounding eyes have tape applied, the "lift" portion is brushed on and given 5-7 minutes before proceeding to the "curl" portion that is brushed on and given 5-7 minutes before proceeding to the "condition" portion that is brushed on and given 5-7 minutes before tape is removed and Anna wipes down the lash area - on a side note, I LOVED the music Anna had playing in the background; I heard Boyz II Men, Selena, Monica, etc. and was singing along in my head - Anna informed me that my lashes are naturally thin/bare and straight; the lash lift will look nice/more noticeable when I wear my glasses; easy maintenance with regards to applying washable mascara only (my research prior to the appointment informed me that ingredients used to make waterproof mascara will ruin/strip the perm in the lash lift process, so washable mascara is best) to make the lashes darker/thicker looking - Anna also told me that lash extensions (should I decide to ever go for that service) are great for wanting to change up my look (natural, dramatic, etc.) but are NOT good for people who have oily skin and/or those who workout often/intensely because the oil and sweat will make the lash extensions fall out faster and not last as long - not going to lie, some parts of the process I felt some discomfort and pinching, but in the end I loved the results! - with regards to aftercare, Anna also provided me with a little printed card in a bag with aftercare instructions as well as a mascara wand; she also informed me to go to the store to buy any kind of lash serum or oil to apply to my lashes and keep them strong, etc. OVERALL: - Anna was super informative, tentative, and nice - I'll see how these next 5-8 weeks last for the lash lift itself before I decide on booking another appointment, etc. - highly recommend!

This was only my second time getting lashes...it was such a relaxing experience! When I arrived for my appointment, my lash angel, Anna, was already waiting for me by the door. I appreciate that this lash studio is appointment only and locks the door from the inside so I feel safe a secure when I'm laying on the table with my eyelids closed lol. The studio itself is clean and tastefully decorated. First thing Anna did when we entered the room is put on a mask and wash her hands. So important when someone is hovering above and touching your face! Anna listened to what I liked and didn't like about my last lash set, asked me about where I was going on vacation, and made recommendations based on the fact I was going to be in the water and at the beach. I told her I wanted less length, nothing too flashy, and it to look natural. She ran some suggestions by me and then we got started. Anna was so friendly, we chatted for a bit while she worked efficiently. She had such a light touch, I honestly drifted off a few times! Before I knew it, we were done. I love my new lashes which are exactly what I asked for! I cannot recommend Anna enough!! Such a sweetheart and knows her lashes. Tell her Phuong sent you :)

Anna is great! I've received "classic lashes" and love them! Anna is professional, friendly and attentive. She explains your options and gives great recommendations on lash types and how to care for them. The lash studio is clean and comfortable. First off, let me say that the technicians here are amazing! The owners however, are absolutely unprofessional. I recently had an off experience where all my lashes fell out, only 10 days after having them done. I immediately texted the business 11/22 (they dont accept phone calls which is another red flag) to get back in. The "soonest" available was today 12/2 and you are typically charged more each consecutive week Which I have understood since coming here well over a year now. In my effort to get an earlier appointment, nothing was available so I waited. The good news is they did the right thing and reimbursed me for my last appointment, totally unexpected. What they did that was ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL was CANCELLED ME TODAY AFTER WAITING since NOV 22 to get in! This is a local business that I once LOVED coming to that is now POORLY RUN by UNPROFESSIONAL OWNERS. I SADLY NO LONGER RECOMMEND this business ONLY BECAUSE THE OWNER LACKS INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM. So sorry the lash techs work under such horrible conditions. They will not last. I HAVE ALL TEXTS SHOWING I NOTIFIED YOU in NOVEMBER when the issue arose not December as you mentioned (LIE #1 from Hongs response) and I did NOT WANT TO RESCHEDULE TODAY, I SIMPLY ASKED FOR AN EARLIER APPOINTMENT IF THERE WAS A CANCELLATION (LIE #2) and lastly, I have supported this small business well over a year prior to poor ownership taking over and THEY CANCELLED ME after waiting until December to get in from a NOVEMBER related issues. LIES will not help you flourish. This is BAD BUSINESS and I AM HAPPILY TAKING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE. Julie and Anna are AWESOME for anyone needing great lash techs, they belong in a well paying, ethical business who better understands how to treat employees and their customers.

I highly recommend Lashaway Studio because the artist take their time giving you full attention to detail with any lash extension style. Whether I get the natural, classic, hybrid volume lash extensions I cannot go wrong! It is so worth the time, distance & price because I don't need mascara & rarely wear eye makeup because the lashes give you enough volume. I absolutely love Ana who takes great care of my lashes. They are in the pocket area and the studio is clean and calming.

I've been coming to this lash studio for a few months now and I finally have gotten my dream set! I transitioned to this studio from another well known lash studio in the Sacramento area and I am very happy with my experience. I've been getting 14s and 15s volume wispy sets but decided during my appointment with Anna to try full volume 17's and I am in LOVE. Anna did phenomenal in 1.5 hours work. This studio is also very accommodating for your appointments and also offers refreshments from time to time. They do offer specials sometimes as well!

Every appointment is always on time and efficient. My lashes stay really long and strong and I am able to do things I enjoy swimming , hiking and work out lashes still on after four weeks when I came back from humid China I've been to either places before uv open And you surely the appointment time is two hours and the price is slightly higher and other places is not as gentle as uv I am so glad that I found my favorite place When I wake up every morning I am pretty much set to go without any make up , Superlight you don't even feel it at all read more

I originally was going to UV Glamorous but followed Nhung (Anna) when she left to this location. I've tried other eyelash techs but I LOVE the way Nhung does my lashes. This location is still fairly new and upcoming but they are very busy, but they still make every visit personable. I love the staff here! Everyone is soooo friendly and the new owner is wonderful. There was an original yelp offer as it followed them from UV Glamorous and she was unaware of it and told me it wasn't for their location. But since it was on there and I mentioned to use the offer, she honored it. One thing I love about businesses is that they show integrity. The owner was honest and I admire that. If you're looking to get your lashes done check this place out. Ask for Nhung (Anna) if you want quality work...and she's fast! read more

It was my first time coming to Lash Away for an appointment. I got a lash lift done by Anna and I had a great experience. Each client gets a private room with the technician for the procedure so during my procedure, I was very comfortable and it was very relaxing. The studio was very clean and professional. The lash lift took about 1.5 hours and the results are amazing. I have naturally long lashes that curl up slightly but the lift enhanced the curl immensely! I was shocked to look in the mirror after the procedure to see that my lashes were almost fake looking! I've done my regular makeup routine (which includes mascara) and my regular skin care routine and the lashes were unbothered. I've been getting nonstop compliments about my lashes so I will definitely get the lift again in the future! read more

Seriously? This place is worth the drive, worth the laying down for 2 hours, worth the money. This place is worth everything!! I booked a first time client special. I didn't have great expectations bc I'm SUPER picky and it takes a few times for an artist to figure out what you're looking for and what you like. Julie did my lashes and though I like hybrid volume lashes I booked a classic to get used to them bc I haven't had them in a while. I told her I want 16mm length with .15 thickness. She did a single on single lash technique bc that's what lash techs should do! Especially if you want to keep your natural lashes healthy. There is a lash on every lash I have. She didn't skip any. Mind you with natural classic sets you can only look as lush as you could naturally. You only have so many lashes to lash so if your lashes are sparse like mine you aren't going to look like HUDA Kattan or HRUSH. I'm super happy with my set and can't wait to go back for a hybrid volume. Thank you Julie! read more

So as an update. I went back in to UV glamorous to redo my lashes to volume. They removed the old lashes and put the 3d fan extension. It took 2 hours to do. Long story short, two days later my eyelid started to get red and itchy. I had enough so I went to another shop to remove them. I'm glad I did. My eyelids started to get irratated from the bulks of glue that was rubbing. *pictures attached* there were a few that had 3 fans attached to one eyelash. The 3d fan didn't fan out because the glue was so extensive. Just such a bad experience, I'm scared to even ever do it again. read more

I drove 45 minutes to get here and it was so worth it! It's my first time receiving lash extensions and I did the classic set meaning you get one extension to one of your eyelashes each, and they're perfect! Julie did a custom set for me after showing me images of lashes then tweaking them to fit my eyes perfectly. I love them! I'm never going back to regular lashes again, they're sooo pretty. I did rub my eyes the morning after getting them done but luckily I didn't do any damage. read more

I honestly love Lash Away Studio! The Technicians are truly amazing, Kenisha is amazing and so is Anna! The studio is so beautiful and has such a nice vibe. The receptionist are also so amazing and nice. I have been to different lash studios and have never gone back because of how unprofessional and rude they are, the tape and under eye patch cut or hurt, or the extensions themselves hurt. At Lash Away Studios there is none of that and will be going to them forever! read more

Warning! These lashes are very addicting!! I am a mascara junkie, but I don't use or need any when I have extensions. A little over an our but I love the time to just relax. The staff are always amazingly friendly and I really lime the discounted touch-up offers. When I go with totally clean lashes and follow after care advice, they last 3 weeks!! Anna is magic! And the prices are most competitive for Sacramento. read more

I booked my first time lash experience with Anna and she was so amazing! She made it very comfortable for me and told me exactly what to expect. At one point I fell asleep while she was working on my lashes because I was very relaxed and at ease. Anna is super nice and friendly and definitely gave me a wonderful experience. Prior to my appointment, I was a bit concerned since I have hooded monolids and wasn't sure if extensions would make any difference for me but Anna did a great job explaining where to go and what kind of lashes to start out with as a first timer. When I looked in the mirror for the first time I was blown away by the results! For those wondering they do offer a first time client deal and the deal varies depending on who you book with! I'd definitely come back again! read more

A couple of months ago I switched from a previous lash studio to Lash Away, and have been very happy with the results. The process is painless and I rarely have any tangles/clumping. I prefer this studio to the other lash places I have been to in the past. read more

They are refusing my service because I'm annoying ? That's fucking BS naw they annoying and FOB-y af because they don't know how to communicate and after they hate on you! I never had a problem with anyone here and now I'm the bad guy for trying a new eyelash tech and their poorly Communication skills! I understand for specific nail shapes like almond a specific length is required to achieve that look but not for square. I then told her about how my family owns nail shops and she proceeded to make a comment about how it's a chop shop based on its location. In any circumstance when is it ever appropriate to make that comment?? This salon is nice and it is on the pricier side but the service does not meet the price point. I had multiple witnesses as well who can attest to these comments since I went with my friends. My square shape also came out wide, bulky, and ugly. I had to refile and reshape themselves. I can't speak for everyone but that was my experience at Blush and I won't be back.

Anna is the BEST. I've gone to her for a number of years on/off and she always takes great care of me. Facility is cute and sanitary. Appointments are flexible; works well with my crazy work/weekend schedule. Communication turnaround time is fast. Lash extension retention is also what makes me come back for more.
