Daily happy hour on sandwiches!
Amelia M.

I really wanted to like this place and have decent cuban food not far away. Usually the little hole in the walls are good, but this is an epic failure in a multitude of ways: they advertise specials they don't have and won't honor, the food is bad (rice was bland, tostones have no flavor, the onions on the palomila had way too much vinegar added, and the palomila was overcooked and tough). They also over charge you. I was overcharged by $5, surprise surprise, they don't give you a receipt.

Do not go food 18 dollar for only egg sandwich and a Orange Juice. Overpriced and no service especially if you're not, Hispanic, as if I'm not welcome And on top of that my sandwich was poorly made and I don't know what kind of egg but I throw up and I couldn't get my money back

Tasty food but the pricing is wrong so better ask the price because menu doesn't have pricing as well. Cuban sandwich was tasty and good. Cafe con leche is tasty, Large $5, Medium $3 and Small is $2.50

I've been coming to eat here for at least over 5 years now, the coffee here is definiitely in my top 3 places for Cuban coffee in miami, the food is amazing and authentic, the guy that cooks it is definiitely Ana amazing chief, and the food is at a way more than affordable price. This place is a great little gem, while in the wall secret amazing food, the coffee gives you life, Cuban coffee is life

Cuban Sandwich and fries.

Was hoping for a good Cuban sandwich today, got what you see. Way too much ham, practically no roasted pork and a measly portion of fries. If this is normal, they need to rethink their concept. Taste ** Quality/Freshness *** Presentation/Uniqueness * Service * Atmosphere ** Bar Cleanliness *** Price $

My boyfriend and I went here for casual lunch on a random day. Sat outside as the inside seating is currently close Ordered through the window, the staff was cleaning nonstop which I appreciated, extremely nice and welcoming and attentive We ordered two different sandwiches and they were very very good! I'm Cuban and have had a lot of Cuban sandwiches and this one didn't disappoint one bit! The sauces are homemade and we're my favorite!

Lass, Miami Garden's Cuban cafe is definitely evolving. They've changed the appearance of the place since opening. And they have added delivery services in their new Lass Mobile. The food is tasty and I love that they know what I like go order. My only problem with them is they are extremely slow. I'm usually running when I go to Lass. And having to stand and wait cuts into my time. I really would prefer to come here, but because they are slow, it really makes DD across the street far more appealing. Lass if I could give some advice or suggest a recommendation, I would strongly suggest hiring another person for the morning rush so that you could get folks in and out quicker. I think your business would grow leaps and bounds even more.

The steak sandwich was terrible, dry and tasted like nothing . The coffee was okay. I'll definitely won't be back at this place.

First the ambiance. The minute you walk into the restaurant, you feel as if you were transported to a high-end European cafe or a London tea room. The elegance, the fresh roses, and the smart blend of modern and art deco styles immediately sets a romantic mood whether you're there for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Second, the food. Under the leadership of Chef Gianluca, he brings to life a variety of delicious Mediterranean inspired dishes. I tried the tuna tartar, the eggplant Parmesan, and the crispy shrimp as appetizers. That was followed by a homemade pasta dish that was perfectly al dente and amazing. As a main dish, I tried the filet mignon with truffles and mushrooms. But, as good as the meal tasted, however, the freshly made pistachio gelato served on a frozen stone for dessert was a show stopper. But, the ambiance and the food could not be outmatched by the stellar service. Our server Damaris, and her team added to the attention to detail that the ambiance and the food demanded and accomplished by the exemplary service on par with any Michelin starred restaurant. Adding to the experience, however, was the live entertainment by Vocalist Cami Liz, whose sultry renditions of ageless songs only added to the enchanting ambiance, the delicious food and romantic charm of The Rose Cafe, that ensures a return visit! https://www.rosecafeandrestaurant.com/

The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.

I ordered The Traditional Shakshuka while my wife ordered their Labneh Chimichurri Roasted Salmon. The Shakshuka is served with their house-made Challah bread and Green Tahini sauce. I quite enjoyed the tahini sauce, and, along with the Shakshuka, it was a good dip for the bread. My wife's roasted salmon was not bad either. It came with lentil rice, labneh yogurt, veggies, and the roasted salmon. I actually visited them a second time to try out their pastry items. It was mediocre in the form they gave me. Apparently, there is an option to "warm", but they neglected to mention that. I also got their Basque Cheesecake, and that actually tasted pretty good. The Miscellaneous The Madame Olivia cafe is in a small plaza, among other shops. The interior has quite the aesthetic, which is how we found them. It is quite spacious and can accommodate small and large parties. They have a good selection of dishes on their normal menu. But they also have pastries along with small items. This is a neat little cafe to visit and hang out with friends, with some unique selections.
