I come here time to time but not often. It isn't a typical Cuban restaurant where you can get a great breakfast for little to nothing. They're pricey and the customer service isn't A1. If you are expecting that than this isn't the place. Also, if you are in a rush....DON'T COME HERE! They move snail slow and it takes forever to receive your meal. I was rip off 100% while looking at the menu. I was told that one empanada was $3.00, I looked at the menu it was $2.25. Then I was told that a croqueta was$1.0 the menu said $0.85, last time I checked miami tax was not that high, and if you changed your price don't have 20 brand new menus to look at. read more

come here since its close to work , they have basic cuban meals, and bakery items. Cafe con leche is good .only downfall is they never have pastelitos when i have gone, looks like they make it super early and then they run out or something. hope they can work on always having pastelitos ready at least til a later time. read more

I've tried this spot a handful of times. The place is really clean and updated decor. The lady is really nice who works there. The food is really good as I've tried the breakfast sandwich and there cafe con leche is amazing. I think they use ghirardelli Carmel in it. The only slight knock on them is I find there croquettes and empanadas to be a bit greasy. But definitely recommend this place for a more authentic Cuban cuisine. read more

Stopped here randomly for lunch. (In town from NY on business.) Was welcomed as soon as we walked in. Counter and work stations were clean and well maintained. Had the pork chunk appetizer. Very tasty. Make sure to ask for their garlic citrus sauce for dipping. We also ordered 2 cuban sandwiches. They are prepared right in front of you. Also, very tasty. While driving by we noticed this place. We were in the mood for something different/non-fast food and from yelp and the food photos, this placed look like a good place to try. Seeing their sign as I drive by almost daily, I decided to give it a try. Open 7 days a week it is a small place in a large office building in its southeast corner. They have their own outside entrance. Their menu pretty well covers the Cuban cuisine and the prices are right. I had a Cuban sandwich combo which included a canned soda $ 6.99.. This is across street from my office so it's my breakfast spot daily. Excellent breakfast samiches and Cuban coffee of course. They have a great home made flan if you like the sweets. Need cash for anything under 5 bucks. Ask for Barbie and Kelly they are super nice. read more

This place is great for when you want to have a quick bite. I always pass by for my lunch break and get a pan con bistec and a colada. They need to fix the colada cup covers (They're too big for their cups) because I have to drive back to my office and in doing so some of the coffee always spills. If you see pics on menu the soup is $3and change but after you eat it they charge $6.35 and say the price on menu is for a smaller bowl she showed me the bowl it was for a sauce like ketchup. Also, some noodles where burnt. Should've stuck to pollo trop. read more

The food is decent not bad, however i did the weekly meals and i forgot one day to pick up the food from the weekly plan and they told me that i lost the meal so they basically took my money for that day. they claim that every place does that with the "cantinas" that is a complete lie i have done this in other places and if i forget to pick up a meal they gladly give it to me another day.. total nonsense. Once she told me that i googled information on them and they have received health code violations for unsanitary reason so frankly i did myself a favor in banning them so they suck and i wouldnt waste my time or money every again in this place. Horrible experience. Would not recommend. We sat outside and had to get up several times to place our order, get our food, get our drinks and pay tab. Our drinks we ready when we were almost done with our food. My boyfriend food was the first thing ready and had to wait over 5min for everything else. Besides that I asked for a number 11 and they said since I didn't mention combo that's why they didn't add the fries.. when I clearly said number 11. They also did not add the ham to my order but I failed to realize once I left. I don't understand how they can write down my order but still get it wrong. I had been to this place before they fixed it up & had a nice lunch at a reasonable price. It wasn't the best Cuban food, but it was pretty good. Today, I stopped there to buy lunch for my husband, they had food in a warmer, oxtail being the special of the day. They start to measure my rice in a little cup like a Chinese restaurant. I was freaking out cause I love rice! It was yellow rice made from parboiled rice, very grainy, greasy, not authentic & the vegetables in it were raw. The oxtail was swimming in grease, no gravy & some yuca that was missing salt. I also ordered a bottled juice. The total was almost $18. I was shocked, I mean come on, its a Cuban food lunch special! They say the oxtail is $14! I think that is extreme, especially since the food was a poor excuse for traditional Cuban cooking & it burned my chest all day! They deliver but for some reason they refuse to deliver breakfast before 12pm and even though the menu says they serve breakfast all day they charge you a surcharge if you order breakfast after 12 pm. i have been eating at this place for a long time, my brother and i would go there 2 or 3 times a week for toast with queso swiso. unfortunately on Monday i had gone there cause i needed white rice and maduros for my lunch, i received 3 plantains and their container of rice and i was charged $7.26. how is that possible when a complete lunch with a meat is less than $7. i feel that i was not fairly treated and i will no longer be going to this establishment. which is to bad. read more

Let me start off by saying if you are looking for good customer service and great food this is not the place. There are many bad experiences but what just happened tops them all. I explain to the waitress that I got sick from the chicken last week. I bought 2 chicken orders to go with rice and beans. One for my son and i. Thank god i didnt give any to my 2 year old son because we could have a big problem.I got home the chicken was not cooked all the way. This happens sometimes so I threw it in the microwave hoping I don't get sick lol and I did. I threw away the other order. I asked to speak to the chef thinking he was the owner to later find out he's just a worker. So when I spoke to him I asked him if the waitress told him what happen and he said no. What a shocker. You would think if someone complains about being sick the first person they would tell is the chef and owner. I explained to him that I was not happy with the steak sandwich I just ordered because it was paper thin. I know a pan con bistek Is thin anywhere you go but to pay $9 for a combo you would think you would get fool. That wasn't the main issue. With the combo I ordered a coke but the machine they have it ran out. I asked if I could get the coke that was in bottles and they would not. Great customer service right? I owned a restaurant for 6 year and I would always take care of my customers even if it cost me. These people will not loose a cent but will loose there customers. Awesome! Also the sandwich had a weird taste to it and realized there was butter saturated on the bread. Wtf. Did I order butter I asked the lady and she said all there sandwiches come with it and the next time tell us to not put butter on it. I explained to her that what if I was allergic to butter. She looked at me like I was crazy. So when I started explaining all these things to the chef he cut me off and asked me what I wanted very aggressive and he had many things to do and didnt have time to talk to me lol.Guy always seemed really nice. Guess I was wrong. Every time I go to this place I always see customers upset and the waitress arguing with the customers. Just a reminder guys , i dont know if you never heard this.
