Got a classic milk tea and thought it was decent, I would've liked a stronger tea flavor but the service was fantastic and has nice seating if you want to just sit and relax while you're here. Admittedly the milk tea itself isn't very memorable but still hits the spot 4/5

Cute little spot in the midst if the busting downtown of Culver City. You come for the flavors and you stay for the ambiance or if you're like me, you grab your drink and your dog and sit outside with seating available. I got the Thai tea drink. It cost me over $9 for a drink but I guess that's just LA. I'd say it was definitely worth it. A little tip: You need to place order at the machines, the baristas only prepare your order. It's rather quick though! I hear the Tiramisu flavor is to die for!

This place is so cute!! The boba is very good and they have tons of different menu options. I ended up with the mango cloud, which was a great choice. It was the perfect combination of fruit and sweet. They were also running an adorable holiday themed arts and crafts activity this time around.

I was getting lunch at Citizen Public Market nearby. It was hot that afternoon, so a refreshing drink sounded like a good idea. Latea was a short walk away. They have all your usual herbal teas, fruit teas, milk teas, brewed teas, blended drinks, and coffee. The typical ice and sugar adjustments. I saw about 8 toppings ranging from 75 cents to a dollar; boba was 90 cents. Earl Grey Milk Tea was pleasant. Thai Milk Tea was too sweet for 50%. I thought their house made brown sugar boba was fine. It's nice that they take the time to make it themselves but it was tough to chew on. Nice study and socializing space though! Plenty of tables, counter tops, benches, and work stations inside. Lots of outlets too. But if you are staying more than an hour, there's not too many options for free parking in the area.

Cute corner boba shop with thoughtful decor and seating! There's kiosks that you order your drinks from with a variety of options. I was happy to see egg tarts offered because you don't see that often. It was a bit of a wait for the drinks so I can see why the kiosks help the front end of ordering. The egg tart was perfectly warm and they hand-make their boba was tasted awesome too

The drinks and desserts here are absolutely delicious! Located conveniently downtown Culver City, this is the ideal spot to grab a pick me up while shopping in the area. They are very friendly and hard-working here, there is a large variety on their menu, I love their Matcha or tea. The drinks are made to order quickly and meticulously, and can be customized to your liking. Prices are fair and there is something for everyone on the menu, kid friendly as well.

I'm glad I stopped by and tried Latea Lounge since it's close to my neighborhood. I'm more of a coffee drinker, so I was pleasantly surprised to see they have lattes on the menu along with a bunch of unique flavors. I ordered the pistachio latte, and the guy helping me seemed really knowledgeable--he suggested I get it half sweetened. I usually don't add sweetener to my coffee and almost asked for a quarter sweet, but I'm glad I listened because it turned out perfectly balanced and not too sweet. My partner got the crème brûlée milk Thai tea with boba, and it was really good as well. The space itself is small but cute, with plenty of seating. When I was there, people were hanging out, chatting, and studying, so it had a nice, relaxed vibe. One thing I did notice is that I don't think there's a restroom inside. I didn't ask, but I was hoping to wash my hands. Other than that, this was a great first visit and I'd definitely come back to try more drinks!

Came later at night there was no one there. But my strawberry matcha ratio was off and very thick. The boba was good and the jasmine milk tea was better. Mine almost tasted like yogurt it was just really thick and I had to add milk to it myself. Lots of seating though.

Final day is today. Bitter sweet. I only got one of their drinks but it was my favorite. Sad to see it go.

Took a little walk around the neighborhood and walked into latea for boba. The interiors are cute with plenty of outlets for people who like to work inside cafés. You order from two kiosks by the door and your drink is ready fairly quickly after your order is sent. There was an older lady that was having trouble with this however, so it would be a bit nice to still have a human option for those who may struggle with tech. All menu items have photos so that's super helpful! I ordered a Strawberry Cloud Smoothie, which unfortunately came out 90% cloud and only 10% smoothie, even after mixing my drink. The strawberries were also quite sour so it wasn't as much the sweet treat that I had been hoping. The foam was delicious still but at a $9 price point for a regular size it was quite disappointing. The boba was a great texture and the syrup was not too sweet. Would definitely give it another shot for maybe the tea or coffee options next time if I end up around here again.

Staff is very friendly and super fast. The milk tea doesn't stand out but it also isn't bad either. I don't think it's a bad choice for the area it's in.

This is what I ordered and with a tip came to $9.95. 1x Flavor Milk Tea/风味奶茶 $7.95 Lavender/薰衣草 +$0.00 R (16oz 500ml)/正常 (16oz 500ml) +$0.00 Less Sugar (75%)/少糖 +$0.00 Less Ice/少冰 +$0.00 House Made Brown Sugar Boba/自制黑糖波霸 +$1.00 Organic 2%/有机2% +$1.00 I found out about this place because of an Elite event and I fell in love with the passion the owner has and the love for his family's recipe so I came back and wasn't disappointed. So rich and creamy! So delicious! It was a crowded night because there was a drone light show at the city center. ***I would recommend someone standing by the computers that takes the orders because some people needed help and it caused a larger line up than necessary***

Had to try this place after my friend was hyping it up to me. I ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Honey Boba, and it was good! I was told the boba would be the best thing, and while it was good, I didn't think there was anything spectacular. Don't get me wrong though, the boba drink was good but was standard to me. If they had this place closer to where I lived, I'd go often but not a drive for. It was still really good though! Overall, good boba!

    Open on thanksgiving?

    We are close today

Do you have any caffeine free drinks?

Yes, the caffeine free options are any of the milk drinks, smoothies and certain fresh brew teas.

    Are there kids sizes?

Yes for the smoothies, but they are pretty generous you could easily share between 2 kids.

What time do you guys open? Yelp says noon but I think I saw an earlier time on the storefront?

Our current store hours are 11am-8pm for Sunday to Thursday, and 11am-9pm for Friday and Saturday.

Do they have almond milk or coconut milk?

We have almond milk, soy, and oat milk.

How many oz of liquid does the medium and large have? (so I can bring in my own jar/cup to help out the environment)

hi Pauline! they welcome people bringing in their own cups or jars! the regular size is 16oz and the large size is 24oz. you can also bring back one of their cups and they'll give 10 cents off. hope this helps! :) -e

Overview: soft cookies with an Asian flair…read more ---- My cousin bought these cookies for us to try since I am a baker at a cookie shop who also has Asian flavors. These were very creative and tasty. The ones I was able to try were the mango sticky rice, guava and cheese, and the Ube Oreo white chocolate! I really enjoyed the guava flavor and was surprised that the rice and cookie itself was still quite soft even after a few days since they were bought. I didn't really care for the Ube one tho. The guava flavor was intense and sweet which I loved. The cookie dough part was nice and soft as well. The mango sticky rice had dried mango mixed into the dough and a small pile of sticky rice topped onto the cookie. This one wasn't as sweet as the guava one. My least favorite was the Ube cookie, I think I'm just not a fan of Ube. All I taste is the extract flavor and while I enjoyed the added texture of the Oreos, I don't think the flavors meshed well for me. Because Ube is such a subtle flavor, I feel like the chocolate flavor overpowered it at some parts and also the flavor of the Ube was very extract-y and a little bitter because of that. I love the packaging and their slogan, it was very cute and clever. While they aren't individually packaged in something like plastic for it to remain fresh, they were still soft and flavorful, they didn't taste stale for the most part. The Ube one was the stalest, and had a harder edge to it, but to be fair it was a few days old. Not sure how the parking, ambiance, or service was since I didn't go myself, but I would love to come here if I am ever in the area. ---- Overall: their flavors seem so creative and they taste great, not stale even after a few days from purchase

While I understood your bakery focuses on globally inspired flavors, that was never the issue. I enjoy trying different foods and was excited to support your business. As you mentioned, there were five cookies in the box. Two of them I couldn't eat due to allergies, and another wasn't a favorite of mine. I chose not to mention every cookie individually because I didn't want to overly criticize a small business. As for the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip cookie, I personally found it a bit overcooked and harder than I expected, though that may simply be your intended preparation style. The Oatmeal Raisin cookie I believe it was, just wasn't my favorite from a flavor standpoint. But as mentioned above, I did enjoy the S'mores cookie! While PERSONAL TASTE certainly plays a role, my review was intended to reflect my overall experience as a customer. Thank you for your response, and I wish you all the best. :)

During the holiday season, that kind of just passed, I could not escape IG reels that romanticized…read morethe power of hot chocolate. Apparently, it can be so rich and thick (European Style) that it is part healing warmth and the other part just wildly delicious. So I decided to go ahead and find a cup of thick, and rich cocoa to hit me with holiday splendor, the kind that can re-assemble Frosty after his final melt. My friend Conrad and I were the duo who ventured to ChocoVivo to try chocolate, on chocolate, on chocolate, with some water on the side. ChocoVivo is in Culver City. The place itself is on Washington Blvd amidst some bars, and eateries. This place lends itself to be a dessert spot, an experience for chocolate lovers and those who are not, and anyone who just wants to experience the taste of chocolate in-depth and in odd luxury. As soon, as I entered, I made a beeline for the counter. I was overwhelmed with all the chocolatey choices: pastries, drinks, squares, with the list continuing exhaustively, it even included a chocolate skull that might serve better as decoration than a treat. I excused myself and went to use the restroom, I dared not ask questions to understand my options, when my bladder was full. I might make rash decisions, due to my inability to focus. And with so many options in front of me, I wanted to sample what was right and balanced for me. I wanted to sample chocolate, I just did not just want to taste chocolate. My trip to the facilities was a small adventure in itself. I passed a room with a man working on his laptop. But the room, seemed to be, like a Sultan's rest-room. It had pillows, hanging lamps, and a cream like colored that reminded me of sun-kissed sand. I clipped the room. There is a Minion (from Illumination fame) chilling in one of the couches. Another picture shows, a fishing net (maybe) with make-shift clouds pouring out of it, also leafs and butterflies. It seemed to be the remains of a shipwreck but it also held decorations that could have made the space more beautiful. I believe, and I could be wrong, of course, that this room used to be functional. A place to lounge, and see beauty, while enjoying chocolate. Now it was a forgotten room, whose purpose never fulfilled, and thus had stuff scattered around. I am sure, everyone can relate to that feeling, of getting stuff for an imagined room that never quite materializes and thus the room becomes storage, more than anything. Kondo deliver us! After, I came to the cashier, I ordered a hot chocolate. Conrad made a point, that the hot chocolate I ordered was not the European sipping hot chocolate that I had talked about on our car ride there. He then. made a point, that I should read a menu and then ask questions. I ask questions, as I read the menu. I eventually, ordered two hot chocolates, (one for him and one for me) and then we sampled 12 chocolate squares--- a sampler. The total was close to 60.00 dollars so this is an experience that is not going to the local mart and buying a Hershey's bar. The 12 chocolate samples were just great and enough, there were bigger samples, which I considered buying, but the price deterred me. The one that I got was super appropriate for both of us, by the end I was enjoying slightly by force, I mustered the strength to finish the half marathon. The full marathon would have tapped me out. The samples came with a card. Conrad was the one who was consulting the card, so we could not what chocolate we ate. It was truly fun, to be with someone who read of the information of the card, and then we tried to identify the taste as the card described. I wish I would have taken a picture of the card, but honestly, I am more of a determine by taste taster than a person who wants to be informed of what he is tasting, to know what he is tasting. I do remember the worst tasting chocolate we tasted--- it had black tea infused into it, I do not remember its cacao percentage, each chocolate had a cacao percentage. The hire the percentage, the sweeter the chocolate. The black tea had this earthy and tea taste that was profound. I guess imagine tasting. a black tea without sugar that is kind of the taste I struggled with. I am glad I tasted this chocolate, however, because it was part of the whole experience. I did not drive to the beach and endure a pothole, I drove to the beach and was both intrigued and jolted by the bounce that the pothole produced. Some chocolates I really enjoyed, the hot chocolate was goodness in a cup. The chocolate sampler also came with an espresso that was split into two cups. I was provided a knife to cut each chocolate. I put the knife in the center with one arm, and use the other hand to pierce the chocolate. My halfs were not perfect. Sometimes Conrad got the bigger half square, sometimes I did. I annotate all this so one knows that when you visit ChocoVivo you will need to work, if you want to split those chocolates, but the work was part of the fun!
