Perfectly sweet with a silky smooth consistency that makes them a must-try #goodeats item. Really sad this place is closing down at the end of the year. Definitely a better than average bubble tea shop. Service is pretty normal, and the space is small. Most people get their orders to go, but you can sit if you want. My new favorite spot to go to. I am in love with their Ube Brulee Latte. Im not much of a coffee drinker so I prefer the lattes and fruit teas and milk teas. But they really did a good job with bringing the Ube flavor out. I think it's because they used like a form of Ube cream or foam at the top and the lattes itself was Creme brulee flavor. I want to come back again try the other drinks. Their boba character mascot is pretty cute, I considered buying one of the plushies to take home. The place is in a great location because it's central to the shops and eateries of culver city. The server was a nice girl, she was pretty quick too even though she was working the front on her own. I was getting lunch at Citizen Public Market nearby. It was hot that afternoon, so a refreshing drink sounded like a good idea. Latea was a short walk away. They have all your usual herbal teas, fruit teas, milk teas, brewed teas, blended drinks, and coffee. The typical ice and sugar adjustments. I saw about 8 toppings ranging from 75 cents to a dollar; boba was 90 cents. Earl Grey Milk Tea was pleasant. Thai Milk Tea was too sweet for 50%. I'm more of a coffee drinker, so I was pleasantly surprised to see they have lattes on the menu along with a bunch of unique flavors. I ordered the pistachio latte, and the guy helping me seemed really knowledgeable--he suggested I get it half sweetened. I usually don't add sweetener to my coffee and almost asked for a quarter sweet, but I'm glad I listened because it turned out perfectly balanced and not too sweet. You order from two kiosks by the door and your drink is ready fairly quickly after your order is sent. There was an older lady that was having trouble with this however, so it would be a bit nice to still have a human option for those who may struggle with tech. All menu items have photos so that's super helpful! I ordered a Strawberry Cloud Smoothie, which unfortunately came out 90% cloud and only 10% smoothie, even after mixing my drink. The strawberries were also quite sour so it wasn't as much the sweet treat that I had been hoping. The foam was delicious still but at a $9 price point for a regular size it was quite disappointing. Plenty of choices, but we went with the tiramisu coffee latte & the tiramisu milk tea. We were in the area grabbing a late lunch and saw this on the way to the restaurant. We decided to grab some after eating since it was on the way back to the parking garage. It was kind of busy, they had interesting seating booths that are meant for like a single person. Wish I got a photo because it was really tight and different lol but there were people. We ordered through their little kiosk which was honestly more complicated than we thought? First of all, they didn't have a signature or classic milk tea so we went for what's called their Assam Milk Tea which we found out later that it was basically just a regular milk tea. And then we go to add Boba and they were out??? It was still kind of early in the day so how are you already out of boba? It was very odd. Although there is no easily available street parking it is worth checking out. I was visiting other shops in the area and was able to park in a nearby garage though. If you prefer dairy-free or an alternative then they have substitutes. They have plenty of options including regular teas, milk teas, smoothies, espresso, cold brews, and coffees. And Latea specalizes in their creamy cheese float toppers. Yum! But the best part is they make their own honey boba and brown sugar boba. And they are delicious and perfect. All drinks can be customized. You can ask for less ice and less sweet. My absolute favorite drink here is their Matcha Latte with Creamy Cheese Float with brown sugar boba at 50% sweetness. It is perfection. The matcha is premium organic matcha. I have also tried their house made creme burlee drinks which are also insanely good. Pricing at Latea is quite reasonable compared to other boba shops. Their drinks are less than $7 each. The staff is really nice and helpful and drinks are made quickly. The inside is smaller but there are places to sit and hang out. There are tables and chairs, stool seating. There's also a little small area to sit in the back as well. Latea is located right on the corner so it is easy to find. There is street parking which can be difficult or you can just park in the structure lot across the street. They have two kiosks you can order from or you can do it the old fashion way and someone can physically take your order. Love all their drinks, I used to get their jasmine green tea with cheese foam but I changed it up and ordered their brown sugar milk tea with cheese foam and now that's my go to drink but so far everything we have tried is really good and taste so fresh, you can taste the quality. My go-to drink is the jasmine milk tea ($5.35), with non-dairy creamer, large size (+$1.00), with their housemade honey longan boba (+$1.00). With tax, that comes out to over $8 for a basic milk tea with boba. There's not even a milk sub or anything fancy, and it's still over $8 in-store. Delivery is even pricier (understandably). Priciness aside, my main gripe and the impetus for this review - they're often out of the homemade boba, but they don't tell you before you order, so you pay for the homemade boba, and end up with regular pre-made boba. It's so frustrating when I receive my drink with the wrong boba. Their housemade boba is what sets them apart from other boba shops, and I'd gladly pay $1.00 for this delicious add-on. When I don't get the boba type I ordered, it makes me sad. Today is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. Please bring back the housemade boba! Or at least warn your customers that you're out before we order. read more

Cute tea place in Culver City with A LOT of people on the weekends. I requested no added sugar for every drink. They're at the perfect sweet level with that. Sweets are great. They're pretty well made. Somehow we got all the orders in like 10-15 minutes but the tiramisu drink took a whole 45 minutes and many orders after us have been served much quicker. The restaurant is in the crowded area of Culver City. You can park in the city garage which is free for 1 hour.
