The food is very good - but small portions for a hefty price. You know what they say about restaurants with a view! Service is ok. Not excellent. The biggest problem is parking- you must valet and pay to park. There is no regular parking even from a short or long walk away. It's completely inconvenient to simply eat at the restaurant. I understand the resrestaurant is part of a hotel....but for locals there are other GREAT choices for seafood. Now let's jump to the food, about 2 years ago the plates would come served with grace, good portions and elegant. This boutique hotel is an absolute gem, and the on‑site restaurant, Latitudes, elevates the entire oceanside experience. The food and service were impeccable-thoughtfully prepared dishes, attentive staff, and an ambiance that perfectly complements the coastal setting. I would wholeheartedly recommend not only Latitudes, but the hotel itself. The property is scenic and peaceful, relaxed with a level of sophistication that feels effortless. During my stay, the atmosphere was calm, the guests were respectful, and the service remained exceptional even after typical hours. (I could see different crowds influencing the peacefulness I experienced) For me at this time it was thankfully that way. I think there was a wedding coming in as I was checking out. Younger crowd. I'm sure the vibe would look differently, but that's alright. I still think I would be able to keep to myself and find peaceful places to work while visiting my father who lives in Boca Raton. That is not too far away either. What truly sets this location apart is its setting. Nestled within an unexpectedly elegant residential enclave - there are some near high rises, but not in this particular block. The place offers a rare stretch of private beach with full service. The surrounding homes are beautiful, and the entire area feels exclusive without being pretentious. Small touches, like complimentary sunscreen, go a long way and reflect thoughtful hospitality. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the staff strike the perfect balance: relaxed yet polished, professional yet warm. Whether working by the pool, lounging on the beach, or settling into a quiet corner, you're given space without ever feeling unattended. I was even able to access Wi‑Fi from the beach, which is almost unheard of in South Florida. While the rates are on the higher side, they are entirely in line with boutique accommodations of this caliber--and you truly get what you pay for. I would gladly return and look forward to the opportunity to visit again. I don't always get to stay at such exclusive places. Usually I'm at a hotel chain (which is not horrible when you are guaranteed a decent national chain while working.) I guess I'm lucky that way. Enjoy the place. Came for Thanksgiving. The food was cold. I told the was cold, he did nothing. Ny vegetables were bright to the table after my meal. It felt so rushed and hospital style. Beachside joints don't have to work hard to get customers. A view and decent food and bar will pass. This one is a bit better than average, mostly on the view. Located on the high enough above the dunes, you can really see the water. It's not world class. The plating is always a bit ham-handed, save the tuna tartare which is one of the better menu items. They over sauce fresh fish, which always is a concern. If you like more bar food-seafood, though, you'll be pleased. The raw bar is good. It's also a fave place for brunch on the weekends, and excellent seafood dinners, where the view windows are high enough up for you to enjoy the Atlantic ocean view by day, or full moon. Bar is good for dining there. Not much of a destination. There is a valet on Atlantic, around the corner. This place could be five star but no one seems to want to make that effort. read more

My family wanted some lunch so they decided to sit at the bar. They ordered the lobster bisque (delicious), the lobster roll (delicious), and some fish tacos (delicious). I was looking for a nice spot to have lunch with my wife, and I came across Latitudes. Located on the site of what used to be a Holiday Inn, Latitudes offers a menu that is heavy on fish and seafood though there are other options like steak and pasta for those who aren't in the mood. I found Latitudes hard to locate. There was no clear signage and we wound up passing it and having to make a tricky u-turn on South Ocean. The only indicator of the restaurant was a small portable sign in the driveway, which we missed. Once there, we saw it was valet only, so bring cash. The fee is $10 and the guys did an excellent job with the parking and retrieving of the car. The location is absolutely beautiful. There were plenty of tables outside, all of which had a wonderful view of the ocean. The interior dining room is also really beautifully decorated, though it was completely empty. As for food, we decided to split the Jalapeño Hamachi appetizer which was thinly sliced japanese yellowtail, ponzu, toasted sesame, cucumber slaw and a spicy mayo. This was excellent. The yellowtail was delicate and fresh and I loved the ponzu and sesame dressing. As for my entrees, I got the Skuna Bay Salmon salad which came with mixed greens, fresh grapefruit and oranges, roasted beets, toasted pistachios, heirloom tomatoes, goat cheese and a balsamic dressing. The salmon was cooked beautifully and I loved the goat cheese which added a creamy and tangy note to the fish and beets. Overall the salad was great and with so many fresh ingredients, a lot of fun to eat. And what a gigantic portion! I had to take half home. My wife got the spicy fish tacos and really enjoyed them. As with my meal, hers was gigantic as well. She wound up taking home a bunch as well. I also want to make a point about how great the service was. They were friendly, professional and came by multiple times to check if we needed more drinks or anything else. Really nice. Five stars from me, I love this place and will definitely be back. read more

Manager said " I thought you were seated." Another manager said he had no explanation. Then said we bought you 2 appetizers. I've never experienced anything like this in an upscale restaurant. It's such a beautiful ocean front restaurant! Valet parking only for $10. There is indoor and outdoor seating and service was very good. We were there for lunch and had the crab melt sandwich and lobster salad. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back again soon and highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Latitudes tends to be a family favorite in Delray Beach (Highland), especially when we're all together. Had mom's 85th birthday lunch here, and many, many brunches. As a former Floridian, it's a bit of a cliche on what South Floridians consider to be upscale brunch. They get the prices they do because of their location more than anything else. Located in the back of a rather easily missed resort on the ocean. As a New Yorker, I have different expectations. Higher expectations. As a New Yorker, it's a three. As an ex-Floridian it's a four-ish. But grading it on a curve I've gone with the four. Service is very South Floridian. Not the most attentive, but not the worse. They rest on their laurels. They know you're there for the ocean view and appeal of that. So they don't go to any great lengths to do extra. Though for mom's 85th they did a fantastic and amazing job. Hence the going with the 4. For a group of 30 women, plus the kids (at least the gay ones, lol), they were very on top of things. Well done. It can be a little touristy. But it is what it is, and if you know that going in, it's an acceptable choice. read more

We hosted my moms birthday dinner here with family (15 people) and reserved the private room- which was perfect. It's surrounded in glass, so you feel like you're in the main room with the beach views but less noise and distractions. We loved it! Service was good but slow- it seemed for the entire room only 1 server was helping with maybe 1 of 2 bus boys - he seemed overwhelmed and after dinner disappeared for a while (weird). We ordered a bunch of apps- everything was delish. Jalapeño Hamachi was a huge hit as was the fried calamari. The fresh bread also is seriously so good. I was able to try a few different dishes and loved everything! Also recommend lobster bisque and lobster/shrimp scampi starter- the sauce was incredible. They did charge a "cake cutting fee" although we brought the cake and cut it ourselves at the table... but whatever we enjoyed the food and like that they have valet which makes parking so easy. read more
