Good food and beautiful ocean front views. A bit pricey. Service is unpredictable. It's one of the few ocean front places in the area.

We once again dined at Latitudes. We were seated at the bar and had exceptional service from the highly skilled bartender Brian. All four of us enjoyed our food. The atmosphere is contemporary, spacious, and has beautiful ocean views. I highly recommend Latitudes.

Hidden gem in Highland Beach! You could miss this place if you're just driving by, since it's inside a hotel. I found it on Yelp and decided to try it out. I was craving seafood, so I got the mini ahi tuna tacos and the grilled octopus - both were super good! Their martinis are also amazing, super fresh and fruity. The chocolate mousse dessert was really tasty too. My server, Gabriela, was so nice and helped me pick the best seafood options. She was very attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Usually, a place either has great food or a great view, but this one has both. I came on a Saturday around 2:30 and made a reservation about an hour before, asked for outdoor seating, and got it! Definitely recommend calling ahead if you want a table outside - it's really nice and refreshing by the beach.

We love Lattitudes. We have been there many times. Their food is amazing. The atmosphere amazing too - right on the beach. Service typically unmatched. Today was the exception. We waited 30+ minutes and we did not even have coffee. Then a server (we were not his table) stopped to ask if we had been helped yet. He took our order. Shame on us for going out on Valentines Day when it is crazy. Ultimately it took an hour to get our food - which was excellent and hot. The restaurant manager kept checking on us. Apparently they were short 2 people and that threw everything off. Bottom line - the food was still amazing and the manager showed us his appreciation for being calm under challenging circumstances. We will be back again soon. Stuff happens and management acknowledged their shortcomings today. Good job considering.

Went on a spectacular Friday night for a few cocktails and appetizers. What can be better than practically sitting on a beach ( no seaweed, thank God) amongst a fairly lively crowd with a great staff to make you feel well taken care of? We ordered some drinks. I had an in and out martini. Whoever bartends deserves credit. Not everyone knows how to properly pour. Yes, our waiter brought over a basket of warm ciabatta- style bread with outstanding, peppery olive oil. Did I want to eat a whole basket? No. But it was seriously excellent, and I'll forgo my calorie count for excellence. We ordered a few things such as a shrimp summer roll and tuna tacos. Both were well portioned to share and feel satisfied. I've been to Latitudes probably 8 times over the years, and it never disappoints. Restaurants come and go but I'm happy this one stays. There is a happy hour from 4-6 if you sit by their bar which has in and outside seating. You won't have the beach on top of you, but you'll get the breeze. Valet parking only ($10)

This was our first dine here, with a reservation for an early dinner at 5:30 with another couple. Allow me to start with the ambience. Bottom line, there wasn't any. Tables close together, the room looks stale and dated from the late 1990's. And a critical factor was the AC. It was not working properly or was set too high. After several complaints to the waiter, he told us it was set at 76 and the hostess would lower it to 73. We did feel a momentary rush of cool air and then the moisture in the air returned and it was stuffy and became progressively more stuffy as the dining room filled up. If we were not meeting friends who were leaving for a European adventure the following day, I would have turned around and walked out. In retrospect, we should have done that. The food was mediocre - the description was way better than it looked. And it tasted a bit off. My entree was a piece of broiled fish which was dried out, a few scallops and shrimp, each tasteless, and a healthy serving of good tasting mashed potatoes and a few skimpy veggies. The best description I can provide is that the plating looked institutional. Like the kind of food which might be served in a cafeteria or lower end restaurant. My wedge salad was quite good and quite large as was the Caesar salad ordered by my husband. But man (or woman) cannot live by salad alone. For a seafood dominant restaurant I expected much more. Oh let me k is forget the warm bread and sweet butter. They were delicious. I would have been pleased if I had bread butter and the wedge salad. Our server TYLER was quite good. We felt badly for him because it was so warm and he had to work all night in that place. No dessert. No coffee. We all needed to get out of there before we passed out. And when we left the room was packed and appeared to be happy. Would I return? Definitely a hard no. And while the view is fantastic - as you're sitting almost on the beach - it doesn't offset the mediocre food and calmly stuffy air. Valet which is mandatory is $10. Credit cards accepted. And of course you should tip the valets

My favorite spot to bring people from out of town because they offer fresh seafood and fantastic views! I recommend getting here early and requesting an outdoor table. The patio faces the ocean, it's covered, and it's breathtaking! They are also very accommodating towards big parties! A little pricey but the quality is good so you feel like you are paying for good food, not just for the views!

Our server Filipe was fantastic. He guided us through the menu and was very attentive. The view is the best in the area. Relaxed and upscale vibe. We'll be back for lunch again soon.

If I could I would give this a 4.5...Great service beautiful setting even with rough seas. We came for the tower... the seafood tower experience we have been craving from land locked Omaha Nebraska and was good but not perfect as the Maine lobster was a little over cooked however the, oysters, gulf shrimp, lump crab( our unexpectad personal favorite), alaskan king crab, cocktail sauce, grated horseradish, citrus mignonette, charred lemon all were delicious. Then I finished the off in style with Spiked Bourbon Affogato Perfectly Combined Espresso with the Sweet and Creamy Texture of a Vanilla Gelato, topped with Maker's Mark Bourbon and Hennessy VS Cognac for a Distinguished Finish. YUM!

Beautiful ocean view. We set a reservation for 3 at 2pm on a Sunday and they were packed solid. We brought a friend visiting from out of town. The ocean was rough -- no outdoor diners as it was cool, windy, and rainy with a fierce looking riptide. You can spot the tourists as the only ones swimming. What better to start off the day with some Modelo Especial on draft. I went with the Blackened Mahi Sandwich with a side of slaw. This is a nice treat in the local area without going to Fort Lauderdale to catch this rare ocean view while dining. It's hard to know it exists if passing by on A1A -- use GPS.

The husband-and-wife owners are clearly hands-on... stopping by tables, checking in with guests, and keeping a watchful eye on everything. It's obvious they care and truly want you to have a great time here. I called for a reservation and it was basically sold out... when they said they could take me at 5pm, I grabbed it. Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. I noticed a bunch of regulars dining at the bar, which looked perfect to me. The bar is walk-in only... so next time I don't have dinner plans, I'll remember I can just walk in and try for a seat. We had a fun night overall -- although I may have slightly annoyed the bartender by asking her to take photos of us (they didn't come out too well under the lighting). Before we left, another server kindly helped us take a few away from the lights, and those turned out much better. All in all, I'm really glad I came back to give J and J's another whirl. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.

We liked the Rangoon. my wofe said the ceviche was only mediocre but the shrimp tempura tacos were delicious! We followed that with pork chops, the Plantain Crusted Corvina, madhed potatoes and creamed spinach. Place was packed for the special priced dinners. The corvina was excellent, nice piece of fish crusted in plantains. The Pork chop was cooked to perfection, with the pear and cranberry chutney. Oh so delicious! Our friend ordered the jerk chicken and her husband the snapper almondine. The jerk chicken was good but the sauce was on the side. if you did not add the sauce it woud have been a roasted chicken. The snapper was a little dry not the table favorite. We finished with the mile high peach pie and the Butter cake. The mile high was good but the Butter cake is amazing, Such delicious flavors! Busy bar scene and open kitchen.

Best Makers Mark Manhattan delivered by Steve our fun, well informed, and very professional Server. Good service really ups the ante on a great meal. Ordered the crusted lamb chops and Steve had them lollipopped for me. They were awesome and when you added the Chimmichuri sauce were outrageous. Be sure you order something that goes with their mashed potatoes. Don't miss them. Wife had lobster tacos, friends had the filet mignon and sole and were equally happy. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream was a nice bonus for cleaning our plates. Staff is very pleasant, atmosphere enjoyable, and $15 valet works. Not inexpensive but it is Boca and you won't mind paying for such a quality meal. Thanks Eddie!!!

We brought our closest friends to celebrate with us and they loved it too. The music and decor was chic and alluring. We want to return and sit in the bar room and enjoy the music and maybe happy hour next time. We feel it's the nicest steak and seafood restaurant in our area. We've been to most of them. As far as what we ate, we were all very happy. We had 1/2 dozen oysters, shrimp cocktail, bone-in ribeye steak cooked to perfection, 19 oz. filet mignon, sole fish, baked potato, Mac & cheese, roasted Brussels sprouts, crab and shrimp fried rice. We were all very satisfied and even had doggy bags. This is the best place to celebrate life!
