Super cute spot to stop for breakfast or lunch in Red Hook! A few great drip coffee options and a bunch of specialty drinks to choose from. I especially loved the coffee cocktails with Rumchata that they have on the menu. We had the hummus pita which was simple and delicious and the island caprese sandwich which was just okay. Baked goods in the case look enticing but didn't try this time. The staff was veryyyy lovely and friendly and the marina views from the small patio were great! read more

This place made my location choice worth while! We stayed nearby and decided to check out Lattes In Paradise for a convenient breakfast. Little did we know that they were so amazing from their kind staff to their pastries! The staff were not only kind, but patient and helpful. They had a condiment bar for sugar, brown sugar, hot sauce etc. to add at for your own liking. The scenery is beautiful. You can sip a fresh made smoothie and enjoy the sea breeze as you wait to buy another treat! Hehe! The sandwiches and drinks are made to order, the smoothies are great, and the pastries were fresh! Our favorite items were the turkey breakfast sandwich that was made with flavorful carved turkey! The bacon breakfast sandwich, because...bacon! My green smoothie tasted great! It did not taste like grass (for those concerned). And last but certainly not least, the cinnamon bun bread!!! That was my #1 menu pick. I ate quite a bit of these (it's vacation)! Small little coffee stand in Red Hook along the American Yacht Harbor. There are some tables but this is a counter service place, not sit down with wait staff. They serve up everything from coffee (duh) to breakfast sandwiches to smoothies. Service was super friendly and quick given the amount of customers that were there during prime breakfast time. Only reason for lack of star was the smoothie was just so-so. Everything else, however, was delish! read more

Cute looking spot that me and my bf decided to try while on vacation for my bday. The service wasn't welcoming even tho they are located in a tourist area. We ordered a ham and cheese on bread and a sausage egg and cheese. Now the cheese looks Kraft singles cheese and the eggs are square eggs that they have already made that they then heat up in the microwave. You can't even make a real egg for a sandwich? My bf's food had a long blonde hair in it which clearly wasn't his or mine, as my hair was in a bun and I'm Afro American. I went up to the counter and told her to there was a hair in it and she said "ok" and took the sandwich and told the other girl to make another one. Not an apology or offer to get our money back but an "ok"... but I found it funny that even tho the place is outdoors they asked my bf for a mask (which is fine) but they don't even wear hair nets Bc there was hair in the food! Nice place to grab a breakfast/lunch sandwich. She got a turkey egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and a frozen lemonade with berries, and I just got a frozen Irish cream latte as I already ate at the villa. She really liked the lemonade, the egg sandwich was good but she liked the one she had at a different place the other day (don't get me wrong she still thought it was good.). My latte was great, perfect size and tasted great. All of this was only a few cents under $20 which isn't bad considering the usual high St. Thomas prices. My go-to breakfast spot in Red Hook (east end) area. Very busy between 7:00 and 8:30 am every morning. They generally close at 3:00 pm. Prices are fair and there's a great open area to sit and enjoy, covered from the hot sun, overlooking the AYH marina. They have great sandwiches for breakfast *and* lunch. They even offer 20 oz sizes for coffees and teas, which is a genuine perk when it comes to wanting more than the typical 14-16 oz sizes that are usually offered everywhere else. Pastries look delicious, but to be honest, I've never tried them. Others seem to enjoy them. I love the Green Goodness smoothie and for breakfast I usually get sausage, egg, and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel. Note: I've seen tourists do some obscene things, but please-please-please: clean up after yourself before you leave the place. We don't need straw wrappers and used napkins littering the place. The breakfast sandwiches are delish and the drinks are spot-on. As a former coffee shop manager, I wouldn't waste my time at any other location in the area for coffee/pastries/breakfast. They have way more than just breakfast sandwiches, too! Juices, pastries(try the fritter!!!), donuts, hot and iced beverages, morning newspaper, and lots more. Highly impressed! The home of our first ever dirty chais! This place is located on the same floor as the street side parking as soon as you walk by the elevator/main area of a The building (second floor for those who park yacht/harbor side). It's not a indoor coffee shop but located on the balcony of the second floor with ample seating and canopies for shade in the sunnier areas. There's a great menu of coffees, chais, smoothies, teas among many other drinks as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches (whiteboard style) shockingly they are still cash only but there is a Scotiabank across the street. They have books and activities for kids and a key to the restrooms located upstairs. This is a great place if you are trying to kill some time before catching a ferry from Red Hook as it's walking distance, also if you don't feel like hanging at a bar or have kids. When we last visited there was a mommy and baby chicken as well as a rooster walking around and taking naps under chairs (this isn't unusual for STT) which proves it's a great family spot, haha! read more

Nice American style coffee and breakfast place near the Red Hook ferry terminal. Cash only but there are two ATMs right next to it so this is convenient, one of them is Scotia Bank which charges a $5 fee for an external debit card. The coffee tastes good so does the garlic bagel we ordered. The eggs they used in sandwiches are pre-made instead of fresh ones you would find at a deli so I took one star off. I guess they don't have an oven to do so. Overall a convenient place to grab some breakfast before you hit the St John ferry. read more

Awesome little casual spot! Situated right on the marina with gorgeous views. The barista was helpful in explaining the menu; I was going to get a 20 oz latte...she informed me that it had the same amount of espresso as a 16 oz but more steamed milk...thanks to her informative words I opted for the 16 oz. I had a hazelnut latte and my husband got a cappuccino, both were delicious although next time I might request they go light on the flavoring. I had a hummus pita and he a pulled pork on bagel. A decent enough breakfast, but expensive and the service wasn't great. I have a pet peeve about the way a staff deals with a question. When I asked a question it seemed as though I was "bothering" the staff. I hate that. Having said that, I got a breakfast sandwich, which was very good and the coffee was great. This place is tucked behind some shops in red hook and overlooks the marina. It is an outdoor location with outdoor, but covered, seating. They were pretty busy when we went but the line went pretty quick. Their staff was friendly as well. I got their breakfast burrito. It had a lot of potential to be great with the ingredients but it lacked some punch/flavor. We were just visiting the island for a short time. If we had been there longer I might go back to try something else on the menu for the sheer convenience of it. read more
