Absolutely the best lunch at Laudy Bar & Craft Kitchen! I read that they had a really nice brunch, so we decided to take a ride down to Fort Lauderdale and check it out. I'm so glad we did! Laudy Bar & Craft Kitchen is in Fort Lauderdale, between Broward Blvd and Sunrise on Northwest 1st Avenue, in one of the newer residential areas with a few high-rise apartments. There is pay-by-phone street parking right outside, and it runs $3.50 an hour. The vibe is cool and a little eclectic, and I can see this place getting busy at night. The décor is welcoming with great artwork on the walls, the staff is over-the-top nice, and the menu is fantastic. We arrived around 2:00, it wasn't crowded, only one or two tables were taken, and a few people sitting at the bar, so we decided to grab two seats at the bar so we could watch tennis. The brunch menu looked amazing and had something for everyone. Even though we came specifically for brunch, we ended up ordering several things that weren't breakfast -- and, everything was incredible. The Bloody Marys are $12 during brunch, or $25 for endless. We ordered the $12 Bloody Mary, and I have to say it was probably the best Bloody Mary I've ever had! I have no idea what they put in it, but it was so good. We started with the lollipop lamb chops. they come 3 to an order, and they were absolutely fabulous. The seasoning and grilling were outstanding. I've honestly never had lamb chops this good. I really wanted a second order, but at $30, we decided to restrain ourselves. They are definitely worth the splurge! Then came the scallops -- four large sea scallops wrapped in bacon with a delicious glazed sauce. Excellent! We finished with a big piece of carrot cake, which was the perfect ending. My compliments to the chef -- every single thing we ordered was better than the one before it. The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. I highly recommend Laudy Bar & Craft Kitchen. This is definitely one of the best restaurants I've discovered in the Fort Lauderdale area, and I can't wait to bring my friends back. My boyfriend brought me here to fulfill my macaroni and cheese craving during happy hour one day. The restaurant is modern, full of artwork, and would be great with friends or on a date. Street parking is available in front of the restaurant with Pay by Phone fees. We started with 2 cabernet sauvignons ($8 each during HH) and the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were delicious although the bread they came with was a little too toasted for my taste. We also ordered the truffle mac and cheese and added chicken. Wasn't worth the extra $6 to add chicken given the very small amount added. That being said, the dish was delicious! This looks like the place...to have a great time! Laudy is a short walk from where I'm staying this weekend and that could be a problem, because I love it here! Attractive ambiance, friendly staff, delicious drinks and savory bites. What else do you need in this life? I stopped by for Happy Hour - they do a double HH here, the second from 10-11p - and ordered the Guava Dream and the Pulled Pork Taco Duo. Both were very good - I could have had another Dream because I love refreshing drinks on a hot Summer evening where you barely notice the alcohol. Phenomenal Food, Service and atmosphere! It's hidden gem! They have many food items and libations to choose from and items are listed as to what is gluten free and vegetarian and they are also able to modify different food items to make them gluten free if they are not already. We have been a few times and each time we have tried something different. Last night my husband had the Burrata Salad and I had the Cobia Entree. Met a freind here, as we were getting ready to board a ship. Man, did he find an adorable place. The vibe was fabulous and every server we interacted with was great. Read: we might have spent many hours here, lol. Happy Hour prices and bar eats were tasty. We sat at the bar, always a great way to guarantee great service. It was not too busy when we arrived but as we were finishing it did get busy. Went for the lamb lollipops, which were said to be AMAZING, but I thought it was o. K. Nothing spectacular to make me excited but it was good. The Brussels looked burnt and they too were just meh. Artichoke dip was almost as if it was from the freezer. Serena was very attentive and always made sure we were doing ok. Loved it. Food: We had the wings as they have "Wing Wednesday" and I had my wings grilled with mild sauce and i loved it. My friend had baked wings hot sauce and loved the taste of the wings but when i tried them didn't like the smell of the sauce, it didn't smell fresh. Definetly not my favorite. Today I took a stroll down in Fort Lauderdale and ended up at laudy Bar. I got the hugo spritz for my drink which was delicious and then a special for their taco Tuesday margarita, which includes Milagro tequila, which is a steal for 10 dollars. For appetizers, I got the wings fried, which were perfect to be honest as well as brussels sprouts. I would for sure give both of them a five out of five. For my main, I ordered the fish tacos, which was one of the specials and while it was good it was a bit dry, which is why I took a point off. Our server/bartender name was aryin (SP) and she was super helpful and just overall great service from her. Laudy Bar is a hip restaurant in the FAT Village area. I love the artsy vibe. We went to celebrate my friend's birthday and expected it to be superduper full, but it wasn't for Thursday night. Here and Now...revamped! We had been to Here and Now before and we weren't all that impressed, but now that Laudy Bar is in town, our tunes have changed! Friendly service, great drinks and food, and awesome HH and weekly specials! We've been a few times since our first visit to Laudy Bar and I can say it's consistently good. We sat at the bar every time, and the bartenders are awesome. We've tried a variety of things from the pork tacos to the bruschetta and their brunch! Food does not disappoint. My recent go to has been the Caesar Salad wedge with salmon, it's light but flavorful and the salmon is always cooked well. Eh, nothing impressive or worth going out of your way for. I can see how this might be cool and fun for people out of town staying nearby to visit, but as a local I wouldn't return for a second chance. They advertise live music on Sunday from noon to 3pm, but it didn't start until 2:22pm and finished promptly at 3:01pm. It felt like they just called somebody from the back of house to try and get the restaurant feeling lively because it was dead (although he did have a nice voice). Espresso martini was just okay; tasted like it was premade hours before. The coffee did not seem fresh and I think they tried to mask that by just putting in a lot of alcohol, but it was not balanced between the two at all. I ordered the bacon wrapped dates and the waitress hesitated a little bit and needed to check with the chef if they had them. When she came back, she said they could make them and that the only reason she had to check was because they "previously had a party of 20 and the chef did not feel like wrapping that many dates." Girl, at $16 for 3 bacon wrapped dates you better start wrapping. At least give 4 so that two people could split them evenly between each other since the appetizer part of the menu is titled, "sharing is caring" lol (dates were delicious though). The Laudy Breakfast Burger was good, but you can find this at any and every single place serving brunch. read more

What can I say about this place? It's incredible! I wasn't expecting much but I was WOWed by them! The burger, a simple order, was delicious. Amazing. The Philly cheesesteak was outstanding-- my friend finished it all within minutes. I wanted the squash blossoms on the special but wasn't very hungry so didn't get them. I have to next time though! My friend and I went to eat lunch and this restaurant is upscale and I loved the feel and those chairs. We had a very good server who checked on us and made sure that we were good. Our food came out and was very good. My friend ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and he tore that up. I also ordered the cheesesteak and I don't know how they do the french fries but they are not like regular fries, but they were very well seasoned. This restaurant is good for groups, date night, etc. I do not think that you can bring your furry friend with you, but it'll be definitely another place to visit . read more

If making a reservation they do ask for a deposit per person which I didn't like but was willing to do. The menu had a little for everyone. My vegan friend had options also. I had the shirt rib it was great! Everyone loved their meals. Our apps were the perfect size. Cocktails were fun and tasty. Parking is hard to find close but there's a short walk to the restaurant. Excellent. Simply excellent! Went on Saturday for brunch. The spot has SUCH a cute warm vibe. Plenty of seats at the bar if that's your thing, and the service is super friendly. We had the unlimited mimosa package for $25 each and shared one of the best Spinach dips I've ever had. I'm so excited I stumbled upon this cute restaurant for brunch on Sunday. I made reservations about an hour before since I know places get busy for brunch in S FL. When we arrived, they sat us in a comfortable booth, with my name on the table. We started with the bruschetta which was delicious, we figured out the secret is pickled onions. Our server Lucas was so professional and attentive! We ordered the shrimp and grits and added cheddar cheese, it was amazing. The steak and eggs ordered medium was a little rare for our taste but nothing to complain about. The best part of our dining experience was the live entertainment. The singer had a phenomenal voice. She sang diamonds by Rihanna, one of my favorite songs. It is loud so I would not recommend this location for a first date. It has more of a bar or club vibe. If you want to be entertained for brunch and lunch on the weekends, this is the place. The decor is very colorful and contemporary. I can't wait to go back and try food items from the regular menu. The girl at the front area seemed clueless about everything while chewing gum and giving a blank stare after you spoke to her. Very weird. When we finally got a waiter, he missed the mark on service but tried. The ahi tuna steak with spinach and wasabi mashed potatoes was sub par. We went for happy hour on a Friday night at 6pm and got two seats at the bar. The music is at a level you can have a conversation without yelling. Staff were friendly. New owners are rebranding it from Here and Now to Laudy Bar. They were onsite. We ordered two wines, spinach dip, meatballs, and pork tacos. They are $7 each during HH. Wine is $5. We found the cutest little restaurant hidden in Ft. Lauderdale, about 15min away from the airport. The place was very welcoming with low background music and nice quotes all over the walls. The service was great. We didn't wait long to be seated and food didn't take long at all. I had the steak and potatoes. Steak cooked to perfection; moist and juicy. I also enjoyed my drink.
