This place has really great tacos and the employees are friendly. I highly recommend Laughing Planet for non greasy, filling food.

This was my first visit to Laughing Planet and I am overall disappointed. I ordered the Bollywood Bowl, swap chicken for tofu. The overall dish lacked in flavor and the sauce tasted like nothing more than cilantro. I chose this bowl because I really wanted one with chickpeas in it but I had to sit and pick them all out. They were so hard, you couldn't even bite into some of them. I would say an absolute waste of my $14 today. I gave two stars because I was impressed with the amount of vegetables but if they don't taste good, what's the point. I will not go back read more

One of the better "fast" food lunch options I've come across. While burritos and quesadillas are options, I recommend a customizable salad or bowl. It's like Freshii, where you can build a bowl (typically starchy vegetable or grain, veggies, and protein) or a salad or pick one of their already designed menu offerings. The main difference is that Laughing Planet offers far more toppings and sauces, so there are nearly endless possible combinations. The restaurant environment is also a little more comfortable, more of an actual restaurant feel rather than a quick lunch joint. I recommend trying the hibiscus iced tea and house-made kombucha. Only drawback is that lunch can become pretty pricey - especially if you add a couple additional toppings and/or a beverage. read more

I have frequented Laughing Planet in Corvallis and in NW Portland for many years. Not excited about this new location in Vancouver. SLOW: For a restaurant that claims to be "quick service," it should not take 30 minutes to leave with food. This was a slow day. COLD: Hoped to have a hot & tasty meal after waiting 30 minutes. Ordered the seasonal bowl and it was cold. Pork was cold. Other ingredients cold. Brussels sprouts don't taste that great lukewarm, in my opinion. While I took the food to go since the wait for it was so long, I was able to dig-in about 5 minutes later. This is now my favorite restaurant close to home. Ordered the chili (vegan) with a side of chips and salsa. My friend ordered the bubba burrito and loved it with its tangy chipotle bbq sauce. My chili was very filling and warming. I would have asked for another bowl but I had no more room. The service was quick and friendly! I strongly suggest their Vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. read more

I've been to Laughing Planet twice since they opened a week ago and I'd eat there every day if I could. The first time, I got the Santa Fe bowl, which was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The green chile sauce was so delicious! My picky kiddo got the bean burrito and loved it, so they get bonus points for that. :-) Today I got the Autumn Bento and the bowl was really tasty and full of beautiful colors: yellow delicata squash, bright green kale, and purple pickled beets. Again, the orange-miso sauce was a perfect finishing touch. The service was fast and friendly on both visits and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. Who doesn't love dinosaurs? The biggest factor that will keep me coming back is that you can order tofu or tempeh in place of meat and sub vegan sour cream or cheese! We loved our tempeh royale burritos with added yams. SO good! Such a hearty vegan burrito option that was very reasonably priced. I also appreciate that when I asked for extra green and red salsa with my to-go order, the person didn't skimp on the handouts! I felt bad that I asked for three salsas, not realizing the containers were pretty big! Thank you, kind person that gave me so much salsa! Great location in Cascade Park area on your way to Camas. I tried the BBQ chicken quesadilla and was pleasantly surprised. Good flavor, large portion that was very filling, and would definitely eat again! Looking forward to trying more of their menu items. Pricing was super fair. First order was on Door dash, tried lots of items! Second visit in person. No menu, left my phone at home so I couldn't use the scan code. I Ordered from memory. Asked if the Thai Mini burrito could be without a tortilla or sub a as corn tortilla due to my gluten allergy. Host said "sure but don't make a habit out of it." Which was confusing... so after our order was placed the cook voiced her annoyance and anger to the host about the change. I had NO idea the menu said no substitutions on certain items, after all I had no menu to view. The cook was so openly rude, loudly groaning , slamming things around and chastised the host in front of us, saying - NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! Then "Tossed" the food up in the window when it was done. I was so embarrassed for having to ask for a substitute and then being made to feel like I was a complete inconvenience. I apologized to the host. I wrote the corporate email first with no reply, 9 days ago. So now I'm cautioning other patrons on asking for any dietary accommodations unless you want vegan- according to the menu. (I looked up the menu when I got home) seems like SIMPLE option: pick a filling (pork, Thai, beans etc) then pick an vessel (corn, flour, naked etc). I feel to embarrassed to go back now. I used to eat Laughing Planet in Portland and was so excited to see they brought one to Vancouver. My fiance lives by this location. Whenever I go to his house and he's already eaten, I tell him I'm going to go get something. He knows I always I'm looking for a reason to go to Laughing Planet, and then he insists he barely ate and wants to come and eat a second dinner. The food is so good. If I had to pick one thing in the world to eat everyday for the rest of my life, it would be Laughing Planet's Comfort Bowl. Have food allergies or preferences? Laughing Planet accommodates them. Laughing Planet has a new location in Vancouver and is a great spot for lunch. My colleague and I arrived right around opening time at 11am. The location only had one person inside at the time and we were greeted warmly and told what to look at as we explored their menu and specials. I ordered their green chili bowl with chicken and my friend ordered their pot roast bowl. The portions of both meals were great and the side of chips/salsa we ordered was tasty. The salsa tasted fresh and the chips were crisp and fresh as well. The deduction of the star came from my friend bc there didn't seem to be an appropriate portion of protein in his pot roast bowl. My burrito tasted good and fresh but the ingredients seemed to be very lumped together. They didn't seem to be spread out throughout the burrito. The result was a mouthful of guacamole (extra cost), a mouthful of beans or rice, or just chicken. It would be great if the construction of the burrito spread out the ingredients proportionately so you can enjoy the burrito the way it's meant to be eaten. A side note the soda they serve is not main stream coke or Pepsi products and are really excellent. It's definitely worth checking out. Should it be part of your weekly rotation? I went with four friends for lunch two weeks ago. One of my colleagues ordered a chicken quesadilla and had to asked for a new one as the chicken and cheese were cold. The manager brought a new quesadilla which turned out to be just as cold. My friend threw it away. I ordered a green chile burrito which was also cold with the corn tasting like frozen corn. I picked out the chicken and threw the rest away... super disappointing experience as we had heard good things about the restaurant. read more

Having eaten at Laughing Planet in Corvallis a couple of times, we were pleased to learn they have opened a restaurant in Vancouver. I took my wife there for Valentine's Day lunch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The menu is varied, and there are plenty of whole food, plant based options, which suits our eating style well. My wife had a Bubba Burrito with vegan cheese replacing regular cheese and she chose tofu for her protein. We agreed it was very tasty. I had a vegetarian Winter Bowl with tofu and it, too, was delicious. A pint of Eliptic Phaser Hazy beer set the Winter Bowl off nicely, and my wife had a self-serve root beer. It, like several others of their sodas, is sweetened with agave rather than refined sugar, and was very tasty. To summarize, the staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean with a very up-to-date, airy vibe, the food and beer were good. Deep booths will comfortably seat 5, and would work for 6. Finally - a Laughing Planet in Vancouver!!! I'm sooo glad this place opened up and is so close to my house.

My daughter and I love the food here. There were 4 people total including us in the entire restaurant. A woman came out of the kitchen from 20 feet away to tell us pull up our masks because we had pulled them down for a two second photo. That is not necessary. There were ZERO people around. I hope this place stays in business because that type of nitpicking micromanaging is not necessary or desirable. read more

We've been going to Laughing Planets in Portland for years and love their menu options. I've always enjoyed the Pearl, 21st, Hollywood, Mississippi and Belmont locations. The one in Vancouver has just opened and is not quite up to the same standards as the better LPs in Portland. There were 3 in our party and the restaurant wasn't crowded so when it took three tries to get my bowl order correct I was surprised. When my bowl came I noticed the pork tasted different than the pork I've been served in the Portland LPs. The pork had a strong citrus flavor which I've never noticed at the LPs I frequent in Portland. One person in our party ordered a burrito and we noticed it was smaller than the ones we've been served at the Portland LPs. Hopefully they will improve with time. read more

I have frequented Laughing Planet locations in Portland for a long time now. It has been something of a tradition for my buddies and I to go there after rock climbing. Words can't express how shocked and excited I was for one to be opening in the strip right next to my apartment in Fisher's Landing. Can't recommend any burrito joint more. This place is the BEST!!!
