This review is long overdue. I have been wanting to revamp and really create a beautiful sound atmosphere in my business for many years. I was hesitant on exactly how to accomplish that, knowing that I would have to go back into my ceiling and it would take a lot of downtime for the construction, crew, and cleanup. Enter Launch Systems state of the art audio planning. They customized a plan that was just right for my business, and what's more - without having to utilize the ceiling space. The system they created and installed for me worked perfectly, seamlessly, and reliably even without my laptop or phone present. They chose a Sonos system for each room, creating wonderful music for my customers without any kind of obtrusiveness. The service was professionally delivered and they checked in with me as well to make sure all was well. The Sonos system works with a proprietary type of blue tooth technology that makes them all individually customizable, from volume to what it will play. I have my speakers all synced together. My employees love how easy it is to use, they come in first thing before me and simply push the "play" button on just one speaker, and all the speakers will tap into their former settings even WITHOUT me being there. That has been frankly, one of the most pleasant surprises. Now I can rest assured that when I am away from my business and customers are being served still, I don't have to worry about the music quality while I'm away. The neat thing too is that I can control the system from my phone or an app easily installed on my laptop. I can give any of my employees control to the app but I prefer to keep it in my control so I don't catch them putting anything on that's not perfect for the business. I was looking to install two ring doorbells and a ring floodlight system. I was told that it would take 6 hours at $95 an hour for a total of $570+ and that Helen Keller herself would be installing... I ended up installing everything myself in under two hours with the help of youtube. Don't let these guys rip you off. If you have basic tools and a pulse, you can do what I did. If you're looking for full home automation, maybe they can help, but I would definitely get other bids and ensure their technicians aren't deaf/blind/both... read more

Although I have only been working with Launch AV for a few months, the experience was unbelievably frustrating. They charged me to put together a bid. There was a significant delay in getting me the bid and scope of work. I have unreturned emails and when I asked why I was getting replies, I had excuses of vacations and unavailability. My account was given to the owner so that he could manage it but he too was not able to provide service either. The new TVs I bought are not as good as my old ones. I bought two touchpad that I don't even, and will not, be using. I basically paid a whole lot of money to get the touchpads, 3 new tvs (one of which was installed wrong), and an Apple TV. I would highly recommend not using Launch AV to install or manage any A/V equipment. read more

I've been using Launch Systems to service our in-home entertainment systems for about 3 years. A recent service call to fix some speakers, a wireless remote and install a video doorbell was a very good experience. Direct tv put in a new receiver and didn't bother to hook up my outdoor speakers or even tell me they didn't do it so I had no idea I had a problem until I had people over and couldn't get them to work. I called Launch AV and Alex Hernandez called me back, diagnosed the problem on the phone ( he figured out it was the direct tv receiver) and offered to come by and fix it! Thank you Alex !!! I hired Lauch Home Systems when I was remodeling my home last year. Ron and Kevin where instrumental in laying out the project for my LAN network as well as a very complicated audio/video system for our home office. I had ceiling mount projector installed and connected to my Home Theater rack on one side and 2 Apple Mac Pro in the office attic on the other. All connected to a server. It's been months and I have not had any trouble with the system. It works great with the remote they programmed. Their knowledge in pro Audio Video systems is huge. We have used Launch on three different homes over the last 10 years. First and foremost, they are absolute experts in their field. They stay current with new technology, and can explain all options clearly. One of the things I like best is that they do not oversell, but listen to what you will use, and then tell you if you are missing something. On our most recent remodel, they suggested security cameras and we thought, "no". They said okay, but highly recommended we do wiring with walls open, "just in case". Sure enough, by the end we needed the cameras, they work perfectly, and it was nothing to just add the devices since the network was in place. They were recommended by my wife's friend who used them in their Coto de Caza home. There were a few glitches that were dealt with in an efficient manner, for example, the new Samsung smart TV was replaced at no charge when a vertical blue line appeared. I am supremely happy with Launch Home Systems. They are fair, friendly, responsive and totally professional through the process. Ron always follows-up quickly when needed. I trust this business completely. Ron designed and installed my home theater in late 2005, coordinating all the required trade, etc., and did a phenomenal job. We hired Launch Home Systems in 2008 to install a whole house music system and wireless computer network, and to modify our TV entertainment system. Ron and Todd were very prompt, professional, courteous, and timely in completing the work. They also communicated well and took sufficient time to show us how to use everything and to answer our questions. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that there have been some issues with the system since installation.
