I've never tried the gourmet pizzas here. The Tandoori was highly reccomended. But, I felt like a simple pizza with mushroom and pepperoni. I ordered by phone and service was friendly and I was given 15-20 mins for a pick up time. The pizza definitely doesn't top my favorite spots. The crust was good, but the pizza itself was so greasy and there just wasn't enough sauce. I may be back to try their gourmet pizzas, but I'll definitely skip this spot when in the mood for a pepperoni pizza. read more

We tried this pizza spot based on the reviews from our family and friends. My review on this is based on the service we received. I talk about the pizzas below as well. A very disappointing experience and unfortunate. Service: The worst. The people that work there are very rude and they don't care at all. We had paid extra for a different crust and they made the pizzas thin crust. We showed them the online confirmation with the details and they just said it's a glitch in the system. They wouldn't make us new pizzas or refund us for the extra we paid for the different crust. They essentially said take it as is or leave and didn't care at all. Despite the pizza be good, I don't think I'd come back given what happened. Food: The chutney pizza was good. It was a unique style pizza and was the right amount of spicy. It is a Jain pizza which is a bonus as it's a great option for Jain people. The Thai Chili pizza was okay. I expected it to be spicier or as spicy as the Chutney pizza but it wasn't even closed. I am new to the area and came across this Pizza spot (Laventina's). So glad I did, my wife and I LOVE this place. We have tried a few different pizza's and they were all great! (We both love Hawaiian style with Jalapenos). The Wings are a must, we always get some with anything we order. The owner goes above and beyond for his customers. Hands on! Well l am so disappointed. I was heading home from Victorville and I was about 20 min out we decided to order LAVENTINAS so we called at 7:22pm order a special Large carry out for $10.99 with our extra topping it came out to $17 and change. The gentleman on the phone said it would be 15-20 min for pick up. Well he get there at 7:43pm to pick up our order and guess what... THEY HAVENT EVEN STARTED MY ORDER. Mind you I have a toddler in the car. They said it would be another 20 min. I asked can you deliver it then... the guy at the counter said you want it delivered then you have to pay extra. WTF!!! If our pizza was going to take more than 40 min to make then I would have Been there within 40 min. I asked can you deliver it at no charge since it was your mistake... I literally live tops 5 min. But I have a kid in the car I need to get home and try to find a snack while dinner is being delivered. I don't mind the wait but I do mind the bad service. The guys said you wait 20 minutes or you pay for the delivery it's an extra charge. I'm sorry but mom and pop's restaurant will not make it with type of service. Over priced pizza with very poor customer service. I when to this place because of all the Hype, but was very disappointed with the quality of food. The Domino's Pizza, which costs a third of the price of their pizza, tastes better than theirs. Their Thai chili pizza is a rip off because I don't think they use actual Thai chilies. I think they just use Serano peppers and charge you more money claiming they are thai chillies.... the pizza has no spice. The chutney pizza is OK but super salty. My girlfriend introduced me to this place many years ago and I was hooked! I prefer their pizza over any other pizza places I have been to. The tandoori pizza is my personal favorite! Every time I have gone in to pick up my za, the staff has always been friendly and kind! They also have really cool pizza art on the wall referencing famous pieces but of course with a slice of pizza. First time I ordered a Small Tandoori Chicken pizza, a Small Veggie Desi pizza, and garlic bread with a side of marinara sauce. Second time I ordered again a Small Tandoori Chicken pizza, a Small Veggie Desi pizza, a Small BBQ Chicken Pizza, and Garlic Dots with a side of marina sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed all pies very much and could not choose one over the other because they are just so different--it's like comparing apples to, oh-I-don't-know, avocados (random fruit--I know) that's how different! The Tandoori chicken pizza is always a great pie to get if you want to get that Indian inspired flavors. The BBQ chicken pizza here is solid! I did really enjoy the Veggie Desi pizza very much. They have a regular veggie pizza and, separately, a veggie desi pizza. The desi pizza has a spicy and zesty Indian-Asian spin to their sauce. The veggie desi comes with tomatoes, olives, onions, mushroom, bell peppers, and jalapeños. (P.S. There are more toppings and flavor in the veggie desi, as opposed to the regular veggie.) I've been getting pizza from this place for over 10 years now. At around the 5 year mark, I was 18 years old and looking for a job. They hired me and I worked there for another 5 years. That seems like a long time to stick around at your first job, but everybody there is like family. All the employees have a close bond and many of the customers are regulars whom we all knew by name. That kind of environment is reflected in the quality of the food. Everything that goes into their pizza is homemade right there in the shop, and that's what makes it so good. We all know the recent pandemic has been hurting small businesses, but they're toughing it out and have remained open for us during these uncertain times. This was my first time trying Indian pizza, and it was great! I ordered the Tandoori chicken pizza and I have zero complaints. I also ordered the deluxe pizza and swapped out sausage for extra cheese. The extra cheese definitely made it so much better lol! The spiciness in the tandoori pizza definitely comes from the jalapeños more than anything. I ordered at the restaurant and it took about 20 minutes to prepare. The employees are pretty chill, they're all young probably high school/college students. The only problem I had was parking. They're right next to a COVID testing site so the parking isn't the greatest. I had to park on the street where in n out is.
