We got a veggie pizza for takeout. There were a good amount of toppings though it felt light. I don't know if it was because the slices were cut on the thin side but we ate way more than we usually do to get full. The sauce was lacking a little flavor or maybe it tasted more on the sweet side. I was happy with the toppings though and it was convenient. read more

I am so sorry that I didn't take a photo to show off how lovely my meal was! I ordered a medium works pizza, some garlic knots, buffalo wings, and a fettuccini Alfredo and it was all wonderful. My favorite was the pasta and the pizza. The pasta was so saucy and a huge portion seasoned great and so delicious tasting. The pizza was also a huge portion and was amazing. Not the best pizza and pasta I've ever had, but it was pretty solid overall. Visiting from out of town and would order here again. They ran out of mozzarella sticks but called to let me know, and subbed garlic cheese rolls, and those were pretty tasty. The sauce was good too. Even though I was craving mozzarella sticks, I can't say I was disappointed with the swap. They were like little cinnamon rolls, but garlic and cheese. And who can be sad about that? Two things that I think are important to know about this place- the portions are huge. Especially for the prices, you definitely get your moneys worth on portion sizes. I ate until I was stuffed on my pasta and it doesn't look like it was touched- and I've got a healthy appetite and was super hungry tonight. More importantly-- the pizza has a ton of toppings. Some places put hardly any toppings on the pizza and I hate that. These guys do NOT skimp on the toppings. If I could give a half star for that, I would. read more

****Good Pizza and a Deal!**** I found this pizzeria listed on Yelp in the city of Bellflower. It had great reviews including a couple of Elite reviews that I read thoroughly. I was hungry and called for a pickup order. I ordered a large meatball and pineapple pizza. It was a deal for $13. Yup, $13 for a large two topping pizza. The Pizza dough was AOK. It was the toppings i that stole the show. The meatballs and sauce and the sweetness of the pineapple made me a fan of this pizza. Again, 13 bucks for a pretty good pizza! This is a smalle shop located in a smalle unassuming plaza. It has a couple of tables inside but is primarily a takeout pizzeria. They also have a refrigerator full of 2 liter softdrinks and a few more items than just pizza on the menu. I would totally eat here again and the next time will try some new items also. It can be hard to find a good independant pizza, but Cali's fits the bill. Generous in size and topping. Very tasty, and good value. Staff is friendly and helpful. If I had to think if any negative is that they do not offer anchovies as a topping. Probrably not a show stopper for most people, but they would get more business from me if they did! read more
