As if they don't have enough 5 star reviews, but here's another one!!! You should always call to check if it's busy, especially if it's on the weekend. Otherwise be expected to wait a good while. I love Lavish nails because they're clean, friendly, and they don't cut any corners and really take their time to make you feel pampered. They do a nice orange scented foot scrub and the pedicurist actually sets a timer for her foot massages to make sure she spends enough time massaging you. If that's not great service, I don't know what is. Another pro is that my gel nails did not chip, lift, or peel off for about a month!!! It's my favorite nail salon thus far. Very nice staff, extremely attentive to their clients needs. I scheduled a last minute appointment for myself and my daughter and they were kind enough to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday. Okay, I am fed up. I LOVED getting my manicure and pedicure here. Tran is amazing manicurist and I always felt pampered by her. My problem is that today was the 2ND time Becky double booked me and sent me off. Neither times did she ask the other customer whether they can come back at a later time or reschedule. She automatically rebooked MY appointment. Even if she offered me an incentive to come back, I probably would have been more understanding but no discount was offered for wasting my time. Let me just say...MY TIME IS PRECIOUS! I have two young toddlers at home and in order for me to go anywhere, I need to make sure they have someone to take care of them. I HARDLY ever get my nails done because I work around everyone else's schedule. I really don't appreciate being rebooked and wasting my time driving there. I let the first time slide but this time, I've had it. Honestly, it is clear which customers they choose to serve first and it is NOT right. This is the last time I will be attempting to go there and will also be telling my mom to go elsewhere as well. You have lost two loyal customers who genuinely liked and respected your work. Also, I advise not requesting an appointment through yelp unless you want Becky to forget to write it down in her books. I only book through here when its hard for me to call in but the both times I booked through yelp is when she forgot me and sent me away. Really want to give praise to this nail salon because their customer service and the quality is always amazing. After trying two other salons in the local area, Lavish is definitely my favorite and the best in town. It's also the only place that I saw the most efficient COVID preventative measures being taken. I typically wouldn't recommend the most expensive item on the service list but if you're able to treat yourself, the lavish deluxe pedicure with Kim is by far the best thing ever and comes at an affordable value. I feel so spoiled getting a variety of three different massages (lavender sugar scrub, lotion, and hot stone) that feel attentive and never rushed-- seriously the perfect remedy after a long, stressful day. I have been going to Lavish Nails since I moved into the area in 2018 and it is my absolute favorite nail salon, it's the only place I go now. Not only is it clean and well decorated with a wide selection of polishes, but I also really enjoy visiting with all of the ladies who work here. They always do a great job, both on my nails and my brows. Not only do I love it here but my mom, who lives almost 30 miles away, also loves it and makes the drive because it's her favorite nail salon as well. With COVID they have taken extra precautions (masks, plastic dividers, paper sheets to cover the seats, etc.) which has made me feel very safe when going in throughout the past year. Ty was amazing! She did a great job with my pedicure and massage. I did not feel rushed at all. The place was very clean and comfortable. I went on a Monday...only one other customer was here, and there were 3 workers. I had an appointment and was taken right on time. The owner was attentive and made an effort to get to know me. This nail salon was clean, quaint and modern. The entire staff was sweet and accommodating immediately upon entry. I enjoyed how I was offered a bottled water and given time to pick out a color. The selection of gels was perfect to me as it was not as overwhelming for me to choose a color. My nail technician, Sandy took her time on my spa pedicure & gel manicure which I really appreciated, as I hate when I'm rushed in and out. She never once tried to add other treatments, but instead allowed me to let her know I would like a callus treatment with the spa pedicure. I called this place and spoke to Becky and she got me in on Saturday morning. Tran and Kim were the nail techs. I haven't had a mani and pedi for 6 months. By the time Kim was done with my pedi my toes and feet were so happy. She was gentle too. Not to rough with the salt scrub.Tran did my mani and she was always wonderful. I found my new nail salon. I needed a last minute nail appointment for the upcoming holidays. After searching on Yelp for the best place, I found Lavish Nails to have the best reviews. It's nestled in a small plaza near Vons's plaza, so it was a bit hard to find, but incredibly worth it. I was lucky to have Becky (owner) take care of me. I called a few minutes before they opened and was able to get into a 10:15am appointment. It was lucky because shortly after I came in, her spots started getting booked up back to back. Becky took so much time and care into my appointment. I let her know my cuticles are extremely thin, so she made sure not to be too rough on them when cleaning them up. I didn't bleed at all and they look amazing. I got a gel French tip and it came out to $32. I love how they look and I will definitely come back whenever I need my nails done. I also noticed how she knew her regular customers by name and had a very friendly interaction with all of them. OWNER WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. DONT GET NAILS DONE HERE! I was late to my appointment by 20 mins. I know- I commute 1 hr to and from work. Owner called me to see if I was still coming in. I said yes I was 5 mins away and was in traffic and that I wasn't able to reschedule. she didn't mention for me NOT to come. So I thought I was in the clear. When I arrived, the owner was servicing 1 patron with a manicure and another employee was cleaning the spa area. The owner began scolding me in front of the patron and employee about my tardiness. I apologized profusely and explained that I was in traffic. I asked if I was going to be seen but she kept bickering about my tardiness and said that I'm the last person here and they had to wait for me afterwards to clean up. I told her There was still 1 hour left before the shop closed and I just wanted a regular pedicure- no gel or anything fancy. She proceeded to say that this was the last time she was going to accept my lateness even though this was the first time and I have been here before, she said that she was going to see me still and to pick my color. After thinking about how she kept scolding me for 10 mins about being late, she could have told me not to come in when she called me and it was 1 hour left before closing time and they already were cleaning up when they knew I was still coming- I told her I'm going somewhere Else. I guess business is good for her to treat customers rudely and I didn't want to spend my money with her services if she was giving me a guilt trip. So I left to DIVINE nails in DT Glendora. I walked in about 6:15p and they were able to see me right away. They were done in 45 mins right before they closed also at 7pm like Lavish. No fuss no muss and they did a better job than Lavish nails. Nancy was very professional and nice to fit me in Even though I didn't have an appointment. Lavish Nails has a 10% off discount for new customers and they made sure to apply it when I went up to pay. I loved the variety of colors they had, both for gel and polish. The young lady who helped me was super friendly and gentle. I was super impressed with their pedicure which came with hot towels, scrub, and lotion. No "express" service here; they really live up to their name. My only warning is that space and parking is limited. If I could I'd put no stars on this one. I was really looking forward to this because I seen many good reviews plus I hadn't had a pedi or mani in a salon like this in awhile. However, when I arrived (with two other people) they rejected us. They said they had somebody coming at 4pm (it was 3pm) there were only two workers and one was just sitting at a table the other was giving a pedicure and there were maybe 6 pedi chairs and 3 of them were occupied. I don't understand how they k my had two workers and 3 customers on a Saturday. I was very disappointed in their lack of service or professionalism because the nail lady didn't even ask much she just sized us up and said she couldn't take us . Never will I return there , appointment or not. And just a tip, the best to do with a customer when your full or have appointments is to get up and offer to schedule one for a later time. I recently moved here from Palm Springs and desperate to find a good nail salon. I researched for over 5 days on yelp looking. I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails and Tran did everything perfect without me telling her anything. She took her time, made sure the gel was evenly dispersed, and covered my entire nail up to the cuticle. She was very sweet and we got to know one another. My favorite place . All of the girls are so great at giving you what you ask for. Becky is awesome! Sometimes there's a wait but it's worth it. She does accept walk- ins but it's always best to make an appointment. They never rush through your appointment, which is SO nice. Came here last week for the first time and had a great experience. I love that they have matching gel / regular polishes so you can get regular polish on your toes and gel on fingernails of the exact same color. Easy parking in the lot out front, can pay with card but tip in cash. My nails came out really beautifully, and the massage chairs are especially comfortable. Terrible communication!! They don't seem to ever answer the phone so I sent a Yelp request asking if we could make an appointment for 5/31 and if they do eyebrow waxing. The answer received was "Thanks". I responded asking if that means we are confirmed for that day and if they can provide the costs for the services. The answer received was, "I sure will". So there I am, on a day out with my daughter, get to the salon and see the open sign in the window.....phew right?......NOPE. They are closed!!!! My daughter was sooooo disappointed.
