The crust was good but they used way more tomato than is usually the case for this pie. The sauce was a bit sweet as well. I'd possibly skip this pie and try a white if I were to return. The young guy who worked there didn't speak to me before or after I ordered or after I paid. All he said was, "Credit." when I pulled out my debit card to pay. When he went to get my pizza out of the oven, he wiped his hand on a rag used to clean the counters, then swiped the counter with it. He picked up the pizza server and retrieved my pizza from the oven with that so that was ok because he didn't touch my slice. He gave it to me and said nothing. He left the slice in too long and burned it. At first I though it would be all right since I like my pizza crispy. I was really hungry too so that was a factor as well. After eating several bites I decide it was burnt and not very good. He shouldn't have served it like that. See attached picture. If you want to eat burnt pizza, from a dirty place, with unfriendly service, then definitely try A Slice of Italy. You shouldn't be disappointed!

The Donatello pizza was really good but the balsamic was a little too heavy I felt like I could only taste the balsamic and nothing else. The burger was really good it wasn't dry at all. The portion was really big I actually had to pack the other half for lunch the next day! Since my birthday was coming up we told our waiter and with our lava cake dessert we got some ice cream and a little candle which was a sweet surprise. Overall this was a great meal and overall experience. Since it was a Thursday night it was very packed and loud inside. I would probably come back on a different day during the week but def would come back.

Management needs to address this so employees aren't left dealing with frustrated customers because of a known system failure. The staff apologized and offered to rush our order by moving it ahead of the others already being prepared, but by that point we had already been waiting 40 minutes, had children waiting in the car, and it was getting late. We ultimately canceled the order and requested a refund. This experience wasn't about the employees, they were courteous and tried to make it right. The issue was the lack of a reliable backup process for a known system problem, which created an avoidable inconvenience for both customers and staff.

Just as I was freaking out and frantically patting myself down a very sweet server asked if I was Michael and handed me my billfold.
