I was going to try some nachos at the Mexican place but I stood at the register to order and a woman in the back smiled at me, said nothing, and never came over, so I walked away. So much for trying that place. I was pleasantly surprised to see a new pizza place, Slice of Italy. After checking out the slices I decided to try one since they looked decent. It was expensive, $4.99 for a one topping slice, but at least it was large. It was not the cleanest looking place. There were crumbs and dust everywhere. The young guy who worked there didn't speak to me before or after I ordered or after I paid. All he said was, "Credit." when I pulled out my debit card to pay. When he went to get my pizza out of the oven, he wiped his hand on a rag used to clean the counters, then swiped the counter with it. He picked up the pizza server and retrieved my pizza from the oven with that so that was ok because he didn't touch my slice. He gave it to me and said nothing. He left the slice in too long and burned it. At first I though it would be all right since I like my pizza crispy. I was really hungry too so that was a factor as well. After eating several bites I decide it was burnt and not very good. He shouldn't have served it like that. See attached picture. If you want to eat burnt pizza, from a dirty place, with unfriendly service, then definitely try A Slice of Italy. You shouldn't be disappointed!

Delicious pizza! It's a new location with years of experience behind it. A must try for anyone.read more

I've been to several other Tommy's locations but never been to the Princeton one. It was easy to…read morefind but you have to search around for parking. We were a party of 4 adults and one child. The wait was only 20 minutes which wasn't bad considering it was super busy and we didn't have a reservation. The staff was very accommodating since we had a baby who needed a little booster chair. For appetizers we had the hot honey chicken bites and the spinach artichoke dip. It came out pretty fast considering how busy it was and of course it was delicious! Surprising the hot honey chicken was pretty spicy which was unexpected but it was good. For main we got the Donatello white pizza and I got the Bacon Swiss burger. The Donatello pizza was really good but the balsamic was a little too heavy I felt like I could only taste the balsamic and nothing else. The burger was really good it wasn't dry at all. The portion was really big I actually had to pack the other half for lunch the next day! Since my birthday was coming up we told our waiter and with our lava cake dessert we got some ice cream and a little candle which was a sweet surprise. Overall this was a great meal and overall experience. Since it was a Thursday night it was very packed and loud inside. I would probably come back on a different day during the week but def would come back.

We waited 40 minutes to pick up a prepaid order, only to find out that although the restaurant had…read morereceived the order at the front, ongoing POS system issues meant the kitchen was never notified or sent the order. If these system issues are persistent, there should be a temporary process in place to ensure orders are communicated to the kitchen. The staff were already aware of the problem, which suggests this isn't a one-time occurrence. Management needs to address this so employees aren't left dealing with frustrated customers because of a known system failure. The staff apologized and offered to rush our order by moving it ahead of the others already being prepared, but by that point we had already been waiting 40 minutes, had children waiting in the car, and it was getting late. We ultimately canceled the order and requested a refund. This experience wasn't about the employees, they were courteous and tried to make it right. The issue was the lack of a reliable backup process for a known system problem, which created an avoidable inconvenience for both customers and staff.

Review for Meatheadz - Lawrence Township, NJ…read more After hearing a NJ Transit conductor rave about Meatheadz, I finally decided to check it out--and I'm glad I did. This place absolutely lives up to the hype. I went with the Plain cheesesteak with fried onions and pepper jack cheese on a seeded bun, along with an order of Meatheadz loaded fries. Let me just say, that cheesesteak was a monster. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and swimming in melty cheese--it's easily the best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. The portion was so generous I could barely finish it, and for anyone arriving hungry, you definitely won't leave that way. The loaded fries looked fantastic too, but I had to box them up for later (that's how filling the sandwich was). The prices were moderate and fair for what you get, and while the place was busy, the energy felt lively rather than chaotic. All in all, Meatheadz is absolutely worth the trip if you're craving an authentic cheesesteak experience. Rating: 4.25 out of 5

A nice size and tasted fresh and hot. The only thing I didn't like was that the bread seemed to have been toasted with butter. I can do without the extra fat so it's something I have to remember to mention when I visit this establishment again. It doesn't take away from the rating, but worth mentioning and if you like to watch your fat intake. I prefer bacon so I rather cut back on the buttered toasted bread. The place was also clean so overall a good experience. I hope that others that are closer to me are as good as well.

Service is quick and efficient. Staff are helpful. Vibes were my favorite part of the experience--musical throw backs to songs from 2015 were the jam. Light rock, pop songs, all the good high school jams that took me back. We got Double BBQ Bacon Char, double cheeseburger, Sweet Potato Fries, fries, onion rings and fried string beans. Food was decidedly mediocre and nothing to ever return for. Burgers are low quality--super dry and tasteless meat. Zero flavor. You need a ton of trimmings to make it palatable. Regular double cheeseburger was a miss. Double bbq char burger was a tiny bit better thanks to the bacon and fried onions that gave the sad burger some texture and flavor. The bun added nothing, so I'd skip it and get the lettuce wrap instead. Regular Fries were soggy and bland. Skip. Sweet potato fries were the highlight of the meal in terms of quality--super light and not at all greasy. Pleasant surprise. I'd order them again. Fried string beans were meh. Too much batter.
