I always order the Thai lettuce chicken wraps for apps and then chicken bellagio for the main entree. We ended up taking home cheesecake for dessert. We had dinner here tonight and was not disappointed. We were seated very quickly and our waitress was attentive and quick. I ordered the Cobb salad which was massive and delicious. My friends got the fish tacos and the vegan Cobb salad. We were all pleased with our meals. I think Cheesecake Factory has always been crazy for our outings because the menu is so large that it accommodates everyone's dietary preferences. In a typical Yelp review when someone says "I lost my wallet" it usually implies bad value for service rendered. However, at The Cheesecake Factory I literally did lose my wallet, leading to that "oh sh__t" moment of sheer dread when you realize it's gone and you have a looming post-Christmas cage match at the DMV seeking a replacement -- not to mention the immediate crisis of becoming a wanted felon for theft of Cheesecake services. Just as I was freaking out and frantically patting myself down a very sweet server asked if I was Michael and handed me my billfold. I don't know if that simple act of honesty and kindness made my cheeseburger taste spectacular but the extra tip was certainly worth it's weight in DMV avoidance. Five honest stars. read more

The margarita was delicious. It wasn't too strong or sweet which I loved. The Cajun salmon had a lot of flavor and cooked to perfection. Dinner here was great. I always get the veggie burger as it is my favorite. Prepared nicely and the fries were hot. The only thing that makes my favorite meal better is when Matt is our waiter. Extremely attentive, funny and willing to accommodate any special requests. Kids menu is reasonable and beloved in my family - pasta with sauce, bow ties and butter, and quesadilla are all orders. My husband found his favorite in the old fashioned burger with cheese, along with the perfectly made old fashioned from the bar. I was seated promptly and although the restaurant was packed, my server Bryan W. arrived very quickly at my table. He was in my a well trained server, with excellent customer skills, and genuinely happy at his job. Nothing like some servers at other places who seem to be reading the script and not very interested in their job. So I was sort of disappointed but it's not all bad. Atmosphere is for the most part always good, the level of "chatter" can be distracting. It's Christmas season so even between normal meal times they are busy. (Parking sucks) luckily we didn't have to wait long to be seated near the bar. While I appreciate his initiative & friendliness, his demeanor was a bit too casual, coming off as bored and or disinterested. Beers on tap seem a bit limited but our drink order and delivery was timely, I really liked the Cape may ipa. Caesar salad was ample for two, but it was delivered without our side of dressing or pepper mill. The parmesan granules topping the salad "looked" like they could have come from a cheep shaker. Once delivered, the dressing was one of the best I've had with a great bold flavor, needing less to flavor the salad. My wife really enjoyed her salmon with miso sauce over rice. I got the Steak Frites which was....meh to ok. Plenty of French fries though. Steak was maybe 4 oz, i mean it was small. I requested medium rare but it came well done; not surprising once I realized how thin it's prepared. I wish I could have returned it to order something else or at least share this experience with a manager but the added effort and attention was less important to getting on with our day. Our server was friendly but he did a poor job of checking in on us throughout the meal. Our food took a very long time to come out, and when it did, everything was lukewarm. They also forgot to include my wife's side Caesar salad, and because our server didn't check on us until we were basically done with the other food, we got the salad brought to us in a to-go box. The server didn't apologize for this mistake, which was a bit frustrating. My burger and fries were OK, although once again, everything was lukewarm so that kind of detracted from the experience. Also, looking at the restaurant's responses to other peoples' reviews (and my previous one!), it seems like they expect us to talk to a manager at the restaurant if we have a bad experience. That would have been much easier if a manager had checked in on us during our meal. This is something that is commonly done at other restaurants so I have to imagine it's possible here as well. Well, after a hard day, I wanted to treat myself before going back to work next week. Small world met someone as the "greeter" whom I used to work. This is another reason why I patronize local businesses to be surprised by people who still remember me and share a little bit of reminisce. Jillian, my waitress was very pleasant as she explained the dish I ordered, which is the Miso Salmon (Lunch Portion, of course). I also ordered Fried Calamari as an appetizer and the Pineapple Moscow Mule Drink. Jillian also asked if I wanted bread for the table. To be honest, I really appreciated her asking me and not just automatically placing it on the table ( I have to watch my carbs, lol). The dish came out perfect. We had a really great experience at the cheesecake factory. We have the appetizer of the Korean cauliflower, which was incredible. The Flavor is amazing and it's a great serving size. We share the chicken Madeira... and it was more than enough for two people... The flavor was incredible and the portion was perfect to share. It would've been very difficult for one person to eat. The only positive thing I can say was the staff was very nice. I went on a Sunday at lunch and didn't know they served brunch. I ordered the pancakes and eggs, and I was so disappointed. They didn't have any plain syrup. The only thing they had was a butter infused syrup that tasted and looked like straight melted butter. My husband and I arrived at the cheesecake factory last evening. We sat at the bar and joined approximately six others which were already there. The bartender was quite busy making drinks for the tables outside of the bar. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes went by, and she finally acknowledged us and came with menus. Hence it is why I sit at the bar; I want my cocktail. Food was fine, but not hot, luke warm, we finished eating, but still no manager. Another waitress walks by and again I ask to see the manager. We asked for our tab, and I walked over to the hostess and advised I had twice asked to see a manager. She walked away toward the kitchen and there I stood for what seemed to be 10 minutes. She comes back and said he'll be out in a bit. After a five-minute wait, I advised I'll be sitting at the bar waiting for him. My husband paid the tab, and we waited again. Came in for a mid-week working lunch. Despite numerous tables being open, we were told that there would be a 15 minute wait to be seated (which turned out to be closer to 30). Seems as though they're experiencing the staffing shortages here that have become so common nationwide. Luckily for us, our server, Junior, was fantastic. Truly the highlight of our meal. He was prompt, thorough, attentive and personable. He quickly took our drink orders and was back for our orders a few minutes later. I wanted to order the chicken parmesan "pizza-style," but unfortunately that item was 86'd, so I went with the lunch portion Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta as did one of my table-mates. The other two members in our party ordered the gluten-free Impossible burger and a lunch Cobb salad, and an order of the Eggroll Sampler for the table. The appetizer arrived quickly, but the results were underwhelming with all of the eggrolls coming out mushy and oily. Despite all of us ordering lunch entrees, each of the dishes was substantial, the Cobb salad especially so. I was the only one to finish my main, three doggie bags were brought out. All of the dishes were just fine, but no one was really impressed either. Just a generally "meh" meal. The exception was, of course, dessert. It is called the Cheesecake Factory for a reason, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selections. I had the Vanilla Bean, and it was judged to be the best at the table, but the Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple and even the gluten free chocolate slices were very good as well. In the end, the Cheesecake Factory delivered the exact sort of corporate vanilla dining experience it is designed to do. My Last visit to the Cheesecake Factory in the Quakerbridge Mall was such a disappointment (wrong food for takeout followed by a long wait), I didn't return for a year. Yesterday's order also was a disappointment. Positive: my food was accurate. Negative: Although customer service on the phone and at the register is polite, corporate allegedly ties their hands re: the rewards program. My pick up order totaled $76.50. When I called, they requested my name and phone number. Being a new reward member, I assumed it would automatically apply to the rewards since the phone numbers are the reward numbers. After paying for my food , I reviewed the receipt and saw nothing about reward points. When I inquired, I was told that I have to say at the point of purchase that I would like Rewards for my purchase. I suggested people taking phone orders Ask the customer if they are a Rewards member. I was told corporate doesn't allow that. I was also told that I cannot get points for this purchase because I just finished paying. Again, I was told corporate will not allow points. At that point it was suggested I call corporate. I called 818-871-3000 on my drive home. There was a long list of choices, but if you had a problem, they immediately suggested you reach out online for faster feedback. I waited until the end and the last choice was to speak with a customer service representative. the representative took the call and said I needed to speak with somebody else. I was quickly transferred to an answering machine. I'm not surprised that I didn't hear back. Today I attempted to go onto the Cheesecake Factory site at the location with the concern. Unfortunately, I see no links for assistance to resolve problems. For that reason I came here. In the end, I had no complaints about our food.
