    Pancakes and scrapple
    Beth T.

We had breakfast here twice during our time in Ocean City and both were delicious! For starters, it makes this Philly girl happy to be able to get Scrapple outside of Pennsylvania, and it was very well prepared - nice and crisp! I had eggs one morning and pancakes the other, and both were excellent. The coffee was delicious and plentiful, the service was friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back next time we're in OC.

The best coffee that I had in OC! Breakfast was delicious. Service was great also. Would definetely return.

We waited awhile to get sat. The service was fine but on the slower side. Food was average. The omelette I had was good and my coffee was hot. It wouldn't be my first choice to visit again in the future.

They said "they haven't been on yelp in several years so they don't honor the " free coffee if you check-in" coupon I got from yelp. Not so good business to not give a free cup of coffee when presented with a yelp coupon.. when it cost them practically nothing. I'm confused.

After this meal, I would have been better off dining at one of the larger chain restaurants that serve breakfast, but I wanted to support a small local business. I ordered the caramel iced java, and the steak and eggs platter which came with fried potatoes and toast. While the ice coffee was presented beautifully, it was so watered down that you couldn't taste the coffee at all. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, but as soon as it arrived on my table, I could tell that it was well done. It was a paper thin cut of meat that, even though it was well done, was miraculously not tough and rubbery. Very surprising. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese, and received eggs that were dried out and overcooked, with several slices of Kraft singles melted on top. First, that's not cheese. Second, that is not how you make scrambled eggs WITH cheese. If the cheese is not mixed into the eggs, it's just not right. Also, they gave me one small container of jelly for four slices of toast, and it took forever to find our server so that we could ask her to bring more. The restaurant wasn't very busy at the time, but we found it very difficult to find our server for much of anything... especially when it came time to pay the bill. We sat around for 20 minutes waiting for her to return to our table to collect the bill. It seemed like she practically disappeared. We didn't see her anywhere in the restaurant. Finally I spotted her and brought her the receipt with our payment, and she tells me that I can pay in the back of the restaurant at the counter by the kitchen. How would I have known this otherwise? It probably would have been helpful for her to mention that after she left us the check.

Rip off! Prices are a bit high, portions are small, and quality is low. One of us had breakfast while the other had lunch, and neither was very good. My omelette had about ten small chunks of ham total, and it also had eggshells in it. Potatoes had zero flavor. Salad was a good concept but tiny in size - the mixed greens were fresh but lacking in quantity. The chicken fingers on top were very processed - more of a chicken nugget inside. Server never asked how our food was until we had finished and needed the check. We won't return. I'm surprised they've lasted as long as they have. Very disappointed. We expected better based on the other reviews.

Creamed chipped beef broken lumpy sauce. Tasteless.

Our breakfast was underwhelming at best. The coffee was weak, the French toast was thin and the creamed chipped beef in toast was tasteless. The cream sauce was broken and lumpy. After our breakfast we are going to find a decent cup of coffee!

Well... don't expect big portions . Cheesesteak was on a hotdog bun. Fries tasted like they came out of a grocery bought bag. Coffee is Waffle House style no soy or almond milk just half and half containers in a bowl . The turkey and cranberry salad was fresh and tasted good just a tad small . More like a side salad.

We saw some good ratings and gave this place a shot and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who helped us make the right selection. As my wife was fasting, she went with a small fruit bowl, my son chose shortstack pancakes, and I tried the veggie hash. The fruit bowl was decorated well and had plenty of variety. From blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelons, apples, bananas, and others, all the fruits were fresh and perfectly ripe. The pancakes were very large and just one would have been more than enough for two people it seems but they even added berries for my son on them. The veggie hash had lots of potential. It was cooked well, however, lacked seasoning. It seemed slightly bland and I had to utilize ketchup to give it some identity. However, the quality and variety of veggies inside was great. Overall, I am giving four stars due to the fact that the prices are high, but the service and quality are worth it; especially for such a close location to the boardwalk.

We walked from our hotel and checked in about 15min before our reservation, and were immediately sat. Don't seem overly busy which is never a good thing in a vacation destination. We were sat along the windows and put in a drink order. I got an old fashioned which was fine. I ordered the cream of crab soup as a starter. Soup was solid, but the flavor was pretty lacking. As my entree I went with the bleu cheese encrusted steak. I ordered it medium-well, which is what you do at a place that doesn't have steak in its name or isn't billed as a steakhouse. That way when the undercook it (as most do) it'll be the preferred medium temp. Anyway, the steak came out and WAS NOT encrusted. The potatoes that were served with it were very good but undercooked and slimy. The vegetables looked just forced and were thrown on the plate to add color not flavor. Our waitress Devin was nice, but she could tell the kitchen wasn't providing a good meal. We skipped dinner and went to Dumser's. Meh - wouldn't go back.
