The best Indian restaurant in West LA. The food quality is top notch, it's delicious and the service is friendly. We ordered the chicken tikka masala medium spice and it was spicy in a good way. We also ordered the half chicken tandoori which was very moist and flavorful. Lastly, the prawn biryani was exceptional. They give you 4 jumbo prawns and the rice was aromatic and flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a modern feel, clean and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The restaurant is a bit hard to find. They are located on the 2nd floor but they are worth taking the trip for. The restaurant offer parking validations during the weekdays and free parking on weekends. If you have a hankering for some excellent Indian food, Indian's oven is the place to go. The owner Shams is warm and hospitable.

The food and service here is so friendly. Everyone greeted my bother and I with so much hospitality. The food is delicious and came out very quickly. We ordered some fish curries and they were delicious. Park in the building they validate.

I am so happy I live within walking distance of here. Whenever we don't have an easy lunch on hand (ie we've run out of leftovers) we opt for the lunch special. My favorite is the saag and I love that you get rice AND naan amongst the other items in the box. I call ahead and they always have my food ready within 10 mins so it's a quick pick up which helps since I usually am already feeling hunger pains when I call lol.

after only ordering delivery from this place for years, finally decided to actually dine IRL at the actual the restaurant. turns out it's tucked inside this building i always assumed was just offices... it's not. (obvi lol.) parking was a breeze and best news is... they validate! we love being validated. i know it's not the most traditional pick, but i looOoOoove cheese naan. both the plain and garlic were packed with flavor. chicken tikka was rich & cozy, as was the shrimp. not the samosas (not pictured) rocked our world. we had lots of leftovers & of course, it only got better with time. how? lol the waiters are so nice and the service was prompt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]over a great, welcoming vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] will def return next time i'm craving indian food.

Well now, I do declare, it ain't every Saturday night in Los Angeles where a man can sit himself down and feel like he's traveled not just across time zones but across time itself. But that's exactly what happened to me when I tucked into the Royal Vegetarian Dinner at India's Grill. The tray arrived -- a modest metal affair, gleaming with purpose -- and I tell you, it filled me with the same kind of quiet joy as finding a letter from an old friend in the mailbox. Everything you needed was right there in one neat parcel: creamy Shahi Paneer (sweet as a whisper, rich as a preacher), two hearty vegetables stewed with care, perfect white rice, a generous slab of garlic naan, and a cucumber salad that cooled the tongue like a gentle breeze through a Tennessee porch. Now I asked for spicy -- and it was, sure enough -- but it could've stood to kick a bit harder. I ain't complaining, mind you. It had enough heat to let me know it was awake, and that'll suit most folks fine. If you're faint of tongue, they'll surely temper it for you like a blacksmith with a baby's rattle. The portion? Just right. Not the bloated extravagance you find at them brassy joints that value spectacle over soul, no sir. This was a working man's supper with the dignity of restraint and the kindness of value. A fine deal at around twenty dollars, and I washed it down with a proud Kingfisher beer -- cold, tall, and glad to see me. The space itself? Friendly as a front porch light left on late. A few tables outside to catch the Wilshire breeze, a few inside near a television just big enough to remind you of home, but not so big as to shout over your thoughts. So whether you're wandering in after a long day roaming the boulevards of Los Angeles or need something in your belly before a night of mischief and wonder, I'd tip my hat to India's Grill. Quiet, comforting, and grateful to serve you -- a rare trinity in these loud and hurried times. And if you're ever near Wilshire, away from the clang of Hollywood and the grind of downtown, you could do worse than sit a spell here. I surely was thankful I did.

This is an authentic Indian restaurant in Brentwood, located on the second floor, so you get somewhat of a view if you sit by the window. Their papadum was delicious, and their onion bhaji was even better. Amazingly seasoned, crunchy batter on the outside and soft on the inside. They're served with tamarind sauce. I recommend the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala: white tender pieces of chicken in a creamy tomato sauce. Only downside is you have to order a side of rice - it seems no dish comes with a side of rice anymore. The atmosphere was great, they played Indiana music to set the vibes. The food came surprisingly fast and fresh - great staff!

Delicious Masalas (we had chicken and paneer), lamb vindaloo, and chicken biryani. All of them were packed with earthy flavors that does wonders to your taste buds. The only thing I'd probably want more flavor is the Garlic Naan. It could use a little more kick to it. The Aloo Naan was delicious though! Also, be sure to get the vegetable samosas over the chicken samosas, and don't forget to request the mango chutney, mint chutney, and tamarind chutney!

First time here at Sham's India's Oven. My friend works in this medical building and recommended having dinner here. The restaurant validates parking if you park in the building. Entrance to the parking is from Barry, just north of Wilshire. It is a bit tricky to find. We shared the Onion Bhaji as an appetizer as well as Spinach Naan. We enjoyed these! We all enjoyed our food, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and a vegetarian dinner set! The staff tonight did not wear a uniform, so I wasn't sure who was staff or a guest ( thus the 4 stars) . I saw a few Take Out orders, which was good, because on a Tuesday evening, it wasn't busy. I always like to support local small businesses. View from the restaurant is of Wilshire. Interior is very nice!

It was also annoying for the waitress (not the gal that served us btw - a host perhaps) to give the vibe like they were doing us a favor by applying the $50 Birthday promo that THEY send via email (note, I verbally this flagged when we arrived just in case - but they didn't initially have it on our bill). My head is thinking "calm down--we ate minimally and got drinks. Don't offer it if you're going to have an attitude about adjusting the bill". It was just weird. They also didn't offer any bday dessert treat but we weren't super pressed bc we were so full. The meat was a bit overdone and all kind of tasted the same this visit. Didn't get to try the lamb chops and a few other meats, but still has a nice variety. Salad bar is top notch and consistent, although wish their black beans were plain due to all the meat. Drinks were ok--heavy pours but lower quality wine. The $29 "Wine Experience" package was worth it for my husband who likes variety of wines with his dinner depending on what he's eating. I'm sure I'll come again but it's been bumped a few notches on my Go To list.

And that's exactly what we did! For cocktails, we went with the Nebuchadnezzar, Semira, and the Khoda. Then came the food: * Hummus Duck 'Nduja * Chicken Liver Pâté * Fried Quail * Farm Cheese with Buckwheat Toast * Oyster Mushroom Kebab * Slow-Roasted Lamb Neck Shawarma * Wagyu Beef Cheek Tagine For dessert, we finished things off with the Fresh Peach Tart. Everything came out timely, fresh, and cooked to perfection. There were a lot of great dishes on the table, but the standout star of the night was the Slow-Roasted Lamb Neck Shawarma. Tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! Overall, Bavel was a great first experience. Good food, great energy, solid service, and the perfect spot for sharing a meal with friends.

Service was AMAZING and for this reason alone I would absolutely return. They made us feel very welcomed especially given our food restrictions (I have some allergies while another person in our party is vegan), which was very impressive. All the staff there were friendly and helpful. We had tons of questions about booking a large reservation in the future which they were so sweet about answering. Ambiance was very chill! Lots of seating options, wasn't busy for a late lunch, and everything seems very organized too. This place honestly seems great for both small parties and bigger parties of people. Last but not least, the food! We didn't get to try the kbbq this time but I love that there are tons of options on the menu. We got several dishes like kimchi fried rice (my friend's), cold noodle, beef brisket hot soup, garlic fries. Everyone was in agreement that it was all delicious. Definitely coming back for the kbbq next time! PARKING is important to mention too. If you can find free street parking consider yourself lucky! There is a garage with the entrance next to it that says "PARKING" which they had us pay $20 with cash or Venmo. Parking guy said we had 2 hours to return with a receipt from the restaurant so they'd give us $10 cash back (essentially making parking $10 or $20 if you go over the limit). Inside the restaurant it does say $5 parking on the wall which we asked about but this only applies on Mondays to Fridays, and we came on a Saturday. I'll add a photo of this. I did consider removing a star for the whole parking situation but I'll keep it for now. Other than the parking being a pain (as is typical for the area), we loved it here.
