Great little place on the outside of towns. The staff are very friendly and make room for your group. We got i. And there are a lot of NM Breweries on tap here so have a beer while your here. I had the la Cumbre elevated They have live music on Sunday afternoon , today they have some guy, seems like he will be fun I had the special- frito pie!! I hoped would be good but it needs improvement. Dragon eggs have a kick. Wow. Not bad at all Others had Philly and burger they said they were okay.

Lunch time on a nice day for a motorcycle ride. We waited until a heavy tourist area to stop. As we pulled into the parking lot there were more motorcycles there. Ok this may be a nice place to eat. There was plenty of room for our group to sit together, albeit at different tables. Service was slow considering the number of diners. A server finally arrived at our table to take the order - Lazy Lizard Philly, Hellbender Salad and the Green Chile Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Drinks came fast, followed closely by our food. By consensus the food was delicious. The Philly was loaded with moist meat, lots of veggies & topped with a lot of cheese. The Grilled Cheese came with lots of chile in the cheese, great flavor without being unbearably hot. The salad was fairly basic, with thinly sliced, well seasoned chicken & green chile ranch dressing. It was great tasting and more than enough to eat. Overall the meal was great, even with the slow service I'm glad we stopped and will be back soon!

This is great since you get you get small portions of Irish favorites. The had bangers and mash, shepards pie, sausage and cabbage, corn beef and cabbage. I had the Pedro fish plate. Everything was great. The brown mustard was very tasty. Definitely worth the trip

All staff were very nice and kind. Even with a small selection of beer, their choices are solid with lager, red ale, stout, IPA, a rich Scotch ale, some ciders, and some seasonal picks. For our food, we ordered The King's Fish and Chips (half) and the Brewer's Beef. The King's Fish and Chips had a big piece of fried salmon that flavorful with a nice crunchy breading. On the other hand, the Brewer's beef was scant in roast beef and plentiful with grilled onions and a sharp horseradish. While the King's was wonderful, the Brewer's was unfortunate. Overall, this was a mixed experience with one good and one not-so-good experience at a place that is inviting and fun.

The place and decor are quite cozy with warm and slightly dim lighting and some screens to watch a game or two. The tables can hold a good amount of people and even incentivize strangers to share some space. They have geeks who drink trivia on Wednesdays, by the way! The servers were quite attentive and fast. I think the manager was helped us first with our drinks. He was quite attentive. He sent another server for our food order. The other guy took our orders without notes and even remembering substitutions. The food was out in no time. Our drinks were decent with the blue berry açaí cider (the blackberry cider was too dry) and one of our friends had an IPA. I had the turkey pesto, the hubby had the Nashville hot fried chicken, and our friends had the Boese and the Cali burgers. The turkey pesto had a decent amount of turkey, but needed more pesto. The Nashville hot chicken was tangy more than hot, but it had a good flavor and on the drier end. Our friends described their burgers as ok. The fries were also ok. Overall, the ambiance and service were excellent providing a chill and friendly place to talk. The food and drinks were decent.

In Moriarity NM for 2-day K-9 nosework event and this super convenient place to stay a couple nights Of course everybody has heard of Sierra Blanca Brewing. Probably the class of New Mexico craft beer. Brands like their Alien IPA are well known throughout the SW. I'm a big fan of their peanut butter porter. Of course the beer here is delish and fresh. Located just off I-40 in Moriarity about 45 minutes east of Albuquerque. Easy on off ... worth the stop. Big property that encompasses the brewery proper + a tasting room, merch sales and an amazing 1 acre'ish beer garden that has coverage from sun if it's too hot. I sat with pup back in beer garden and the outside bartenders was nice enough to deliver my drinks to the table. As far as a Harvest Host site is concerned, pretty big, level dirt parking area that as they admit gets a bit muddy after rain, but if you keep to edges, you'll be fine. Only thing not leading me to 5-star rating is absence of kitchen and any food other than bagged pretzels and nuts. Country music playing outside, just a really nice place

The fish is terrific; moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, not fishy; a really nicely done fried fish. The fries were a big miss! Last time they were overly salted, and we did mention this to the staff. This time, it was worse; not too salty, but everyone was unhappy with the texture. Some thought they were frozen (they had that frozen fry texture), but of course, they were not, we were told. The taste was OK, but after a few fries, none of us could eat any more. They all ended up in the trash. Too bad because the most challenging part of fish and chips is the fish, which Rowley's does very well. Chips? Nope! You can ask for a Caesar instead, but it's rather lackluster (more later). My wife had the Green Chile Tuna Melt, which was pretty good and unusual. They use wild yellowtail to make the salad, and it was a nice upgrade from the usual. Not fishy like Tuna can be (although if you like tuna salad, which we do, that's not an issue). Had a nice kick from the Chile, nice bread, etc. We recommend this dish. Came with a side Caesar salad, which was pretty bland. It's all about the dressing, of course, and this version didn't seem to have any anchovies I could detect, nor the necessary other ingredients to make it remarkable. Could have been ranch or any other 'white' dressing. Another miss. Tried the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, which were pretty good (need more roasting), and need the bacon as a default. The version at Box Car is far superior. But not bad here, not a miss. But better We also tried the Grilled & Roasted Vegetables topped with feta. This dish was delicious! A really nice side for those who want something healthy with their fried fish. The waiter knew we didn't like the fries, so he 'comped' us dessert, which was a very nice gesture. We tried the Bread Pudding and the Mango Cheesecake. The cheesecake was way too cool, so its texture was hard and not what I'd normally expect. There wasn't a trace of Mango I could detect. The crust was nice. Not a miss, but not something I'd order again. The bread pudding was pretty good, not the best in class, but more successful than the cheesecake. Not overly sweet, thankfully, but a bit dense. Service was very good! Our server was Gerson C, who got everything right. The kitchen served the food promptly, and everyone was served at once. But overall, too many misses for me to be convinced to go back.
