The only reason I stopped here was because I was in the area. It's about 25 minutes from me, but I'd likely drive for it if I want Chinese again. We got Hunan chicken and chicken- broccoli. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce was flavorful, and the portions large. Definitely some of the best Chinese food I have had. Only complaint is that the eggrolls were dry and flavorless, with little filling. But the rest of the food was 5-stars. read more

LC's Asian kitchen is our go to Chinese place to get take out. A good Chinese restaurant is hard to find and I'm happy we found LCs. Our go to order is usually a sesame chicken dinner and almond chicken dinner. Both with shrimp fired rice. The sesame chicken is fantastic and the almond chicken is some of the best I've had. Perfectly crispy with awesome flavor. Our last trip we tried the Mongolian beef. We weren't fans of it so we won't order next time. Prices can be a bit high but the portion sizes are huge. My favorite lo mein in the area! It can be hard to find one that isn't drenched in grease but this one is light and flavorful! Ordered for pickup during covid time. Located in a strip mall. Menu is the usual assortment of Americanized Chinese and Thai. The food was done on time, well packaged, and done well. When I picked up they quickly finished making the order of chicken egg foo young (4) pieces. entree size chicken with vegetables (1) quart and white rice pint I always buy quarts of the food to share for a meal. (1) quart General Tau chicken and white rice pint. Next time I will get the chicken and vegetables as a combo with a eggroll and fried rice and order more eggrolls and their krab ragoon triangles prepared with a crust of fried puffy dough filled with fake crab and cream cheese, served with a sweet sause I believe it is 5-6 pieces for sharing. Their spring rolls are large and delicious too. I also reccomend thier thai dishes and I also tried orange Chicken and want to try the orange beef. They have shrimp servec with lobster sauce. They serve every dish with plentiful protein,seasonings,sauce,etc. without being too salty! We had the egg drop soup, steamed dumplings, Singapore noodles Chicken lettuce wraps and egg rolls. This place actually has the chunks of chicken, so the egg foo young is not a flat patty by any means. Service is great here eating in or carry out. The ambiance is perfect. Been here several times since moving to the area. They have dine-in service open and my old spot, Golden City, still doesn't. The first time I came I was made aware they are including a tip/service fee in the price when you dine in only. I'm assuming that's what it is for. Unfortunately it means I will tip less. $14.50 for almond boneless chicken dinner is steep. And I thought Trizest was bad charging $13. But the flavor and portion size (big portion of chicken) prevailed. Sometimes Golden City and Trizest mess up the chicken, but so far every time it's been good here. Crispy coating, moist tender meat, and flavorful gravy. But tonight? You gave me a 'wonton noodle soup' size cup of rice. With my dinner. I had to ask for extra rice and I've never done that in my entire life, and I'm about to be 39. Chinese restaurants ALWAYS give plenty of food for that price where you would be stuffed. No egg roll with the dinner option, either. I complained but wasn't going to let a language barrier get in the way. I paid extra $2.00 for another side of rice. Which made my total as $17.50 with tax, and I left a $2 tip. $19.50 for almond boneless chicken dinner dine-out. Kinda ridiculous, eh? read more

Straight-up, good Chinese takeout! I had given up trying to find good Chinese until LC's. I read some reviews for dishes and we narrowed our choices down to Sesame Chicken, Orange Beef, and the house special fried rice! The sesame chicken is so flavorful and nestled in the crunch is actual chicken meat, and not all batter. The orange beef has some of the best texture I've had as it's crunchy and tender and not chewy. If you can get down with some fried rice, do yourself a favor and get the house special. It's loaded with chicken, pork and shrimp and could be a meal in itself. We decided against the combos and ordered as 3 separate dishes and between two people, we will make this work for 3 meals each! I highly recommend if you love you some Chinese takeout! I used to love coming here because it is close to home. I just left this place and I wont be back. The Chicken egg foo young was disgusting and felt like they microwaved it because it came out in 2 in. I sent it back and they still charged me. The waitress forgot the egg rolls and didnt mention they didnt come with it because there was soup. Overall this place used to be good but its not authentic and the food is cheaply made. The General taos sued to be generous pieces of meat and now its all breading. Service is terrible food is expensive and taste like shit. I will never go back here so thank you for ruining the 5 years I came here. Being treated like this was a good sign to never come back. Ordered a carry out tonight and after getting to my friends house 25 mins later opened to find the wrong order. I ordered Lc chicken with brown rice. Instead they gave me fried rice with shrimp and chicken. When I called to complain the man that answered the phone said he would give me a credit. Then a woman called back and asked that I take a picture as I was wrong and got what I ordered. I complied and sent a picture. Then the man called me back and said that was my order and hung up on me. I've never been so disrespected. We came here for the first time tonight. They did a great job with takeout, practicing excellent covid 19 safety precautions. We ordered egg drop, hot and sour, crab rangoons, egg rolls, sesame chicken and Szechuan chicken. What we loved: the portions are huge and a very good value. The sesame chicken (my husband can't stop raving about it.) It's crispy and sweet and prepared with white meat chicken. The egg drop soup, delicious and smoky just like we like it. Crab rangoons, also huge and filled with very flavorful crab cream cheese. What was ok: Szechuan chicken, full of fresh veggies and a very healthy portion, just lacked something special for me other than a healthy stir fry. Fried rice, good, a little bland but good, not amazing. What we didn't like: egg rolls, in my opinion, complete garbage. The only thing inside was bland overcooked cabbage. Hot and sour soup, wayyyyy too sour, almost wondering if it was a mistake. Dipping sauce for crab rangoons and egg rolls tastes like a vinaigrette instead of a sweet dipping sauce. I would ask for sweet and sour sauce or something if they don't have anything else available. Overall we liked it, just want to try some other entrees next time. Pictures looked interesting. We ordered 1 egg roll, 2 spring rolls, wonton soup, hot and sour soup and Mapo tofu medium. I was also going to order a Chinese veggie soup too with the Mapo but was told a soup comes with it but the veggie soup would be extra up charge. The hot and sour was spicy and tasty, the veggie soup was filled with lots of veggies but was a bit bland. The crispy wontons are good and addicting to eat. The veggie spring roll was yummy and crispy, bigger than I thought, same size as the egg roll. There's was a crying and telling tot on the small couch, she was whisked away by the mother to the back kitchen area because she was whining. The Mapo tofu tastes good. I like the pickled veggies and the carrot and peas aren't bad in it either. The food experience was good here. I would definitely come back again and it's so close to home too. read more

There aren't many Chinese takeout places around here, let alone many good ones. But LC's is consistently good and usually very quick. I love their General Tso's chicken and fried rice, but everything I've tried there tasted great. They've also committed themselves to keeping everyone safe during the pandemic, and they only allow one customer in at a time for carryout and have the cash register separated from customers by plexiglass. read more

Pregnant and hANGRYYY, I returned to an old favorite of mine. They are so far, still in the top 3 places I want to eat when choosing Chinese food. Everything is always fresh, cooked to order, hot, and reasonably priced. They not offer dine in since the last time I was here in the beginning of the pandemic, and I'm excited to bring my S/O! He's never been here! Until then, I will continue to order from here when I need a pick up or delivery from a third party. I don't think there is anything they don't make sub par. They are used to heavy order loads, and service and packaging will not change because of it. Everything is always on point, always fresh, and always fast as possible. Finally found a place around Metro-Detroit with great Chinese food! We tried some of the dishes others recommended on here and we were thrilled! The spicy orange beef was not that spicy and delicious! The sesame beef was also good but probably our least favorite we ordered (which shows how much we enjoyed everything else). The spicy string beans were really flavorful. The garlic butter fried rice was also great and flavorful (unusual to have it with corn, but it was good). Last Sunday we ordered 3 dishes. 1. Sesame chicken as a meal (with sides of fried egg rice and egg roll). There was barely any sesame on that deep fried extremely (unnecessary) sweet dry! chicken pieces. Like literally less than 10 count seeds. Doesn't suffice to name the dish "sesame.. anything". Rice was tasteless, egg roll was simply disgusting. 2. Pad Thai was again over sweetened, peanuts were not crushed, there were just large pieces of peanuts soaking in that extremely sweet sauce. Very little of egg and bean sprouts. I didn't expect any superb Thai dish from a Chinese carry out but if one has a whole section of Thai dishes on its menu I would expect them to do at least a regular job. 3. LC special didn't taste good either - (again and again) too sweet and also thick brown sauce was overwhelming. Crunchy noodles on the side was the only bearable thing out of the whole order. The place is not that cheap for that poor quality of food, there are cheaper and better Asian carry outs around. But I should say that to find a decent, specifically Chinese carry out is challenging in the area. read more

L.c's is great for takeout, fast usually in 15 minutes or so. Located in a strip mall right off of Campbell and easy accessible from 75 or 696 so it makes it convenient for pick up. Our usual order consist of General Tao's chicken and pork fried rice which is so much better than regular fried rice. The chicken is a generous portion and the sauce is delicious just wish it be just a tad hotter. The pork fried rice is wonderfully flavored and little pieces of pork with peas in carrots which I have grown to like. Crab Rangoon is always done to perfection as well as the pan fried dumplings. The crab ratio to the cream cheese in crab Rangoon is a good. four stars would get five if they stop using the Styrofoam containers read more

This place was a really pleasant surprise. We decided to try a new place and grab takeout and we landed on LC's. Upon picking up the food, the place had a steady stream of customers coming in to do the same. They were undoubtedly busy for a reason and despite the number of orders being called in, they got our food done on time and had everything well-organized and ready to go. We were looking for somewhere to get a delicious greasy hangover meal and that's exactly what we got. Portion sizes were excellent for the price. I ordered a sesame chicken combo, veggie lo mein, and (of course) crab rangoons. Flavors delivered although the rangoons weren't my favorite. I'm kind of a crab rangoon snob so that was a bit of a bummer, but was otherwise very satisfied with the food. We will be back. read more
