We saw The Soul Rebels play a fantastic set here. The drinks were solid and the music pumping. I'll be recommending Le Bon Temps Roule to everyone - especially if The Soul Rebels are playing! The $20 cover was worth it.

One of my favorite dive bars in Nawlins. Open 24 hours!! Very diverse crowd, all ages, all types. Super chill if you're chill. Currently home to the infamous Soul Rebels Band on Thursdays when they're not on the road. Back bar ( where the small stage is) opens up late when there is a gig. Great selection of beers and spirits at very fair prices. Pool tables; Jukebox, kitschy decor. The place defines "the dive bar" in a city with great dive bars. Love the place

This was my fav place we found in NOLA! Tried it cause of the reviews and man... soo glad we did!! They are open 24 hours which is amazing in itself. Our bartender was sooo nice and funny!! We got the spinach dip and both got burgers. We BOTH felt like they were the best burgers we've EVER had!!! Wow!!!!!!!!! I had the pimento cheese and my friend had the black and bleu. Soooo good!!! They do a football pool every week where you can win $$. Fun to see such a local following. LOVED this place! We wished we found it the first night so we could have came back again!

    Cig machine?

We just happened upon this place while on a walk. It looked pretty cool on the outside, was nice and divey inside, with that slight smell of last night's spilled beer wafting about. It's an older building with lots of historic charm, a very energetic but laid back vibe from the bartenders, and a nice beer selection. They also have a cigarette machine, something I haven't seen in quite a while. Not busy in the afternoon, but I was told it gets very busy at night. No surprise.

We came to see The New Cahoots play here during Nolaxnola and they were awesome! We also had some delicious wings and beers. The bartender was super nice and we played a game of pool. I really like this place! Check out my full review on Youtube: How to live like a local in New Orleans Parks Bowman Haunted House - Halloween Ghost Music Art Food

Me and my buddies at about 1am, plus the cute bartender back there I really wanted to take home with me 3

Coolest bar there is around good ole Tchoup, stayed in an Airbnb about a 10 minute walk from here, drinks were nice and cheap, Morgan the bartender was really sweet and friendly, really hot too, I could probably talk to her all day. And the fact that it's 24/7 is also pretty cool. Never had the experience to be stumbling home at 6AM before until now . Definitely coming back next time I'm here in New Orleans.

I can't believe that this place can get a band as good as the Soul Rebels and only charge a $5 cover charge.

A Seafood Spot We Keep Coming Back To!…read more My husband, my daughter, and I have been going to Boil Seafood House for the past few months, and so far, we've really enjoyed every visit. It's definitely become a place we keep coming back to. We usually get the seafood boil with snow crab legs, and this time we went with the medium heat and butter garlic flavor. Everything was really good and full of flavor. My husband and I got the potatoes as our sides, while my daughter got the boiled eggs. We also ordered a side of French fries to share, and let me just say... we ate those so fast that I completely forgot to take a picture! They were good! I also like the whole seafood boil experience here. They offer you a bib and gloves if you want them, which definitely comes in handy when you're getting into those crab legs. The service has been good every time we've visited, and the atmosphere is always lively. One of the coolest things happened after we had finished eating. Someone came around offering little samples for people to try, and they stopped by our table and asked if we wanted to try the soft-shell shrimp. I'm not sure if it's something new on the menu or just something they were serving as a sample, but we said yes -- and I'm so glad we did! That shrimp was delicious! It literally melted in my mouth. I'm usually not a big fan of eating anything with the shell still on, but this was so good that I didn't even mind it. Definitely not what I expected, and it was probably one of my favorite little surprises of the visit. I didn't take a ton of pictures this time, but I'll share the few that I did get. So far, Boil Seafood House has been a winner for us, and since we've enjoyed every visit, We'll be back again for another seafood boil!

But the star of the show for me was the lobster boil with Caribbean seasoning medium. The combination of flavors was absolutely perfect, with just the right amount of spice and seasoning! Our server, Christopher, was very attentive, suggested wine pairings, and gave us great recommendations. We started with the charbroiled oysters which is a must. They were large and charred to perfection on the outside grill, topped with parm and breadcrumbs. My friends ordered the filet and the gulf fish, and I had the charred cabbage entree, with a French gerwurztraminer blend. The mushrooms with the blue cheese sauce were so rich and delicious! Sweet treats were a no brainer. The blue cheese flan was creamy and decadent. A perfect ending to the meal. This is so far my fave restaurant in New Orleans. It's an honest, no BS creole inspired cuisine. 100% coming back soon!

And yet again, I am so thankful for Yelp steering me in the right direction yet again! A short Uber from the French Quarter brought us to what I believe is such a special hidden gem! The moment you step into Atchafalaya, you realize it. Ambience is amazing, quirky, cool, homey and cozy. Staff is amazing. We sat in our own private room and were treated to a very special delight of a dinner. I tried the incredible fried green tomatoes, the seafood soup (?) and the incredible steak...wow, everything was amazing. And not only did Chef Christopher Lynch come out to say hello to my Autistic son but the owner Tony Tocco did as well and it made his day! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
