Got home excited to drink my mocha and eat my sugar cookie. A treat!! Opened the mocha to drink without lid and what I thought was a large might be a small. Le Buzz is great but I would rather pay for an actual large at another place in the future. Disappointed!! If I lived closer I would have driven back. I came to Le Buzz on two different occasions while i was visiting Tucson. There was a lot going on in terms of options. They had your classic sandwich and salad deals, which were great. They also had great pastries and coffee. There was a lot of people there during lunch time, but the line didn't feel too slow moving, and the workers were great. Highly recommend! Did a quick stop by for caffeine before going up mount lemon, and it did not disappoint. They had offer locally roasted coffee and while I went for a specialty drink (got tempted by mayan chocolate and spices) , it did not disappoint. Not too sweet and great blend of flavors. My husband got a blended coconut pineapple drink and he loved it. Sweet and refreshing but tastes fresh! Great service, staff was very helpful. Such a cute and cozy place. Very friendly service. Packed with customers but seats turned over quickly. Tried the chorizo burrito and croissant breakfast sandwich, both were perfect. Delicious coffee. Best fresh squeezed OJ I've had in a very long time. Pastry serving size was huge and it was also delicious. Reasonable prices, approx $45 for two persons. I am an older woman, and I do not ride a speedy bicycle. I did not fit in here - not even to make it past the counter. No bike shorts, no bike helmet, no bike. Just the biggest bunch of snobs and rich wannabes I have ever encountered in all my time here in Tucson. I was bumped into , furniture was rearranged right next to me. My companion was also jostled as they rushed past us in the cafeteria style line. Who wants to stay to eat food in a place where they are trying to shoo you out in a not very subtle way? I will never go back to this place and my companion said that she already knew it was like that, and had wanted to suggest we eat elsewhere -- which we did do ---we walked our butts right out of that snobby joint. I read the reviews so I decided to show up. I asked about the most popular drinks and it was the Maya spicy hot chocolate. I tried to make this drink at home and I never liked it. So I was pessimistic.Then when I tried it I finished it all. It was perfect. Not too sweet, .not too spicy. The place was full of bicycle cyclists heavily armed and ready to hit hundreds of miles. Le Buzz is a small cafe offering full breakfast, lunch, coffee bar, and pastries. It's casual enough to visit after your morning run, or nice enough to meet Mom to catch up. I found Le Buzz the last time I was in town and really enjoyed it. The first time I went they had a lot of pastry options. This time they did not have as many but it was also later in the day. The place is always busy when I am there. They have indoor or outdoor seating available. They serve breakfast and lunch. I got the Sante Fe Grilled Cheese with the Prickly Pear Lemonade for lunch and they were both delicious. The sandwich had a lot of flavor and the lemonade hit the spot after a busy morning running around town. The service was fine. I had to clean up my own plate and was worried I was doing it wrong. They didn't really have trash cans so I just put everything in the dirty dish bin. I am not positive this is what you were supposed to do or if someone actually does come to pick up your dishes. This place might be my new obsession! The Avocado Tartine was delicious!!! They were out of the Honey Lavender Latte (my favorite) but I tried the Agave Latte, which wasn't all that bad but I do prefer the Lavender. Hubs got the special pull pork burrito that he liked a lot. They do get really busy in the morning and you gotta come early if you want the pastries! But overall, staff was nice, food came out quick. Love this place! Finally got around to reviewing it! I somehow always forget when I bust... I probably get a latte here 1/2 times a month. A staple! This is a cute little place in a strip mall and it's kinda self serve. Breakfast and lunch only btw...You stand in line and order what you want to eat from a menu board as you walk in. Order, pay and they give you a number to put on your table, which includes outdoor dining on a small patio. Then they bring your food. So 3 of us...one got Gimme the regular...eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. All good. Another got Tuna Nicoise which was their tuna salad along with some of the normal Nicoise ingredients like potatoes, hard boiled egg, Kalamata olives and pine nuts. They loved it! Not too heavy on the mayo in the tuna. I had the Sonoran Salad which was mixed greens, black beans, jicama, tomato, avocado, sharp cheddar and tortilla strips and topped with a grilled chicken breast. While this sounds great, the entire salad was very skimpy on the ingredients. I found some of them under the lettuce but only had 3 tiny slices of avocado, a couple of beans and a few thin;y sliced jicama strips. The kicker was my chicken was WAY overcooked. I didn't even finish it. The problem is that no one comes to make sure everything is OK. They drop the food and leave. Then there are bins for dirty dishes when you leave. I wasnt sure if I was supposed to bus my table or someone else would do it. While putting my dishes in. The bin, I mentioned it to a guy collecting the dishes. He just said sorry. I really want to go back, just for the interesting things on the menu....but there are a lot of places to eat. We shall see. read more

Another local gem, located in a small strip mall a few miles from our house. My wife had been here before, based on a recommendation from a salesperson in a store that she loves. The first time that she was here, she had the breakfast Ham and Gruyere Petite Brioche and SHE LOVED IT!! So, of course she needed me to check it out. It's kind of a small place and very busy with many locals, so that should say something about the food! I wasn't too hungry at the time, so I decided to just have a bowl of the Soup du Jour, which was the Lemon Orzo Chicken Soup. It was very good and serve with a couple of pieces of a yummy bread, which I suspected was made from scratch. My wife opted for the Huevos Rancheros, and she thoroughly enjoyed it, as well as her latte. We'll be back again soon!! read more

My fav place before ascending Mt Lemmon for a hike, bike, climb, walk, whatever. The bakery is POPPPPIN every morning and the breakfast sandwiches are fuel forever. i went here with one other person and we ordered two things each and we had to wait about 1 hour just to recieve our food. it was very unorganized and crowded and they only took care of the large parties and prioritized them. when we finally received our food, it was cold and when we told someone, the only fix they had was to microwave it, like is this some kind of a joke. read more

Here's what "the regular" breakfast gets you at this "hip" Cafe full of 90 yr old professional cyclists and various other woke elites. 2 paper thin straps of Applewood bacon, two extra runny undercooked eggs- asked for over medium, the grain toast is cold, and each slice weighs in around a quarter pound. Orange juice, guessing what they would call one serving. Save water, give me plastic and paper dinnerware. No salt, pepper or other condiments anywhere in sight. Lovely breakfast and lunch cafe on Tanque Verde near Catalina Highway. A stop off for bikers and locals to get their caffeine/brunch on. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
