Le Buzz is the perfect spot for a delicious weekend breakfast. There is a nice indoor table section, a bar-top with stools, and a great outdoor section for seating. My mom is a cyclist, and we first went here after she rode Mt. Lemmon since it is a big cyclist hangout on weekend mornings. The owners & staff are so nice & always serve quality product. Our favorite order when we go is the Two + Two + Two (2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, & 2 Blueberry Buckwheat pancakes) with a honey lavender latte for mom & the Le Buzz breakfast sandwich (an absolutely delicious egg sandwich) with a cappuccino for me. We usually get a vanilla bean scone & a Le Buzz cookie to go as well. Both of which we HIGHLY recommend. Bottom line: This is a wonderful spot for quality coffee drinks, delicious breakfast, & baked goods that are well worth the calories. We've never had anything here that we haven't liked & always recommend this place to our friends. It can be packed on the weekend, but the food is worth the wait. GO TO LE BUZZ! read more

COVID-19 edition: No inside dining; masks required; limited menu; still tasty (and the "le buzz" breakfast sandwich is still my favorite), including and especially the pastries. Other breakfast establishments may have "pastry" in the name, but Le Buzz has generous selection available out on the counter, each and every one of them fresh and tasty. Best place in town for what amounts to a fancy doughnut. No inside dining, but the patio is open, mist machines going full blast, and it feels pretty comfortable. There are painted disks on the tables -- flip it over to show it's occupied. When you're done, staff will sanitize the table and flip over the disk to show the table as clean and available. Le Buzz is the type of place that as soon as the last delicious morsel is down the hatch you immediately wish you could start your meal again. Le Buzz is a little gem tucked away in the far northeast side of town next to a supermarket on the way to Mt. Lemmon. The menu is your typical bistro fare, loaded with sandwiches, pastries, coffees, and delicious favorites like quiche. Let's talk about the quiche because that's not nearly as common as it should be around these parts. My husband is a vegetarian and on our most recent trip--his first--he opted for the green chile and corn quiche. I went with my standard ham and cheese. Crusts are buttery and compliment the warm and silky eggs well. The green chile quiche is unique in that it adds a southwestern flair to the French bistro. Quiche is optionally served with a small side salad of mixed greens and a delicious poppyseed dressing that is sweet and tangy with a hint of that poppyseed flavor. The salad is adorned with pistachios, mandarin orange sections, and cranberries. All quiche come with a delicious French-style roll. The crunchy and glossy exterior of the roll gives way to yeasty, pillowy, goodness within and is served with homemade preserved and (being French inspired) some butter. Did I mention the pastries? The scones are deliciously semi-sweet and addictive. The tart has a delicious and buttery crust topped with a creamy--but not cloying--custard. The tart is then adorned with major fresh fruit of berries, oranges, and kiwi. It's a shareable dessert for sure after your meal--but do make room for a pastry...and you'll want to take some home too. We can't wait to try more! Le Buzz would definitely be worth a trip to the far east. My only real concern is that the interior space is limited, with the outside being cheap plastic chairs. Often the restaurant is jam-packed with bicyclists leaving little room for others. It is better by lunchtime, but be aware that resources can be limited. read more

Two of us walked in. One walked out really happy and the other (me) felt like it was just OK. I ordered a special coffee which was written on a chalk board right by the register. The guy didn't even seem to know what it was. I explained it to him. He looked confused. To his credit, he did put something together that tasted ok but wasn't really spectacular. My friend, on the other hand had a really awesome coffee. It tasted way better than mine. The service was also slow. We waited about 10 minutes for our two coffees. Considering there's a fabulous shop across the street, I won't go back. But my friend will. read more

Wonderful wonderful cafe here right in the foothills of Mount Lemmon!! Which is just so darn convenient! Go up for a hike and pick up one of their delicious sandwiches to go or come back down after an early day on the mountain ( because they do close early ) and munch on delicious fare ! Decided to give this spot another shot after being disappointed when we first moved here in 2014. Ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese and an iced mocha to go. The bagel was charred, completely black and the iced mocha was all milk with a dribble of espresso, tasted just like cold milk, awful. The cream cheese was soup by the time we got home, which is just a 10 minute drive. How do you char a bagel and think that is OK to give to a customer, knowing they won't see it until it's too late? Shame on me for giving them another opportunity. Very over-priced too. I understand inflation but $11.00 for a burnt bagel and milk?! I could have bought a 6-pack of bagels and a gallon of milk for that next door at Safeway. Do better, guys. read more

Have been here for breakfast twice in the last few weeks. The food is tasty and the coffee is really good. It is a post-ride hang out for cyclists, and although I love cyclists, many of the cyclists with whom I have crossed paths at Le Buss have fairly bad manners. They are often seen coasting into the seating area on their bikes, sitting in huge groups talking loudly and leaving their bikes all over the place. Perhaps the management should consider investing in a bike rack. read more

So I came here for the first time yesterday because a friend had recommended it to me but my experience here was just okay. I had came here a little before noon on Thursday and I had ordered a Mt lemmon omelette for my daughter, and I had gotten the breakfast burrito. We got the food to go because we had a doctors appointment to get to but we werent very pleased with our food. The omelette was a little too dark almost burnt and it barely had any cheese in it. My daughter had gotten sourdough toast with her omelette which was barely toasted. On the menu, it said the breakfast burrito is suppose to be griddled which mine really wasn't at all and instead I got a soggy burrito which was gross. I had also asked for no pico de gallo at the very last minute which is my fault but the woman that was there making the food seemed sort of annoyed and frustrated because I had asked for no pico on my burrito. She was shaking her head as she was fixing my burrito which frustrates me and is actually very disrespectful because It was my very first time here and it made me feel like I can't ask for any changes on my order because then the cook gets upset. I am not sure if I will be returning to this place or not. Really disappointed with the food service because I had high expectations due to the fact that my friend had said such good things about this place. If I do try the food out again in the future, I will make sure to ask a different cook about changes for my order. The staff is pleasant and welcoming, although had slight difficulty either hearing or listening to us for we were asked the same questions repeatedly. The coffee was strong and tasted great. Not sure if refills were free (doubt it) and given that I feel the coffee was a little pricey, but not insanely expensive.
