This was a quick stop on our way to do some shopping. Ordered the noisette latte which was similar to hazelnut flavor. The coffee had a slightly bitter after taste and was a little bit on the expensive side. However, the hazelnut flavoring was good and it came out quick!

Cute small cafe in Union Square. Dropped by to grab a cup of coffee while waiting for my puppy to get groomed at Petco. There's booth seating and hooks and plugs underneath if you need to work while here. The drip coffee is strong but tasty.

small neatly maintained coffee shop. there are a few seats tucked into a corner with a ledge. the interior feels shiny modern but warm. the coffee is solidly good when you want a hot brew to grab n go in the Union Square area. the service is friendly and kind. been here a few times and it's never been too busy and is a good place to escape the din of nyc if there is a seat available.

A very tiny/hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. I popped in around 3pm so their selection of pastries was low. They made me a cappuccino with one of the most beautiful coffee machine (pictured). Fast and friendly service! If I was in the area, I'd definitely stop by again.

Small coffee shop with little seats. Loved their cold brew with dulce de leche flavor

This place is so below average that these five star reviews are annoying me. Service was OK. I kind of felt like an inconvenience to them. But he made the coffee quick. Ambience is cute I guess. There's so many better options in this area. In my opinion if a coffee shop can't make an iced caramel latte good, that's a red flag.

Hello! This is my Day 2 quarantine meal!! I enjoyed my meal and would definitely order the latte again. They packaged everything incredibly well so it didn't spill and I GREATLY appreciated that. Chocolate Croissant - Great! Your standard chocolate croissant. Nice flaky crisp. Dulce de Leche Latte - SO GOOD, would definitely order again. Hella jittery for the rest of the day lmao Survived as a travel order?

A cute little breakfast/lunch spot. Convenient location. The breakfast sandwich/bagel menu includes interesting combos...not just your average bagel and cream cheese. They also have a good selection of coffee and tea drinks, both hot and iced. Service is quick. Only downside is they don't have seating and there isn't anywhere directly outside to eat. But if you walk a bit you can sit down and eat in the park.

Got a rose iced oat latte. The coffee was decent but I couldn't taste any of the rose flavor. FYI this is more of a to-go spot since there is very little space inside!

Typical New York coffee shop. Nothing unique or outstanding. Coffee, muffins, etc. quick pit stop for us. We grabbed some espressos, no one raved about it. So many shops in nyc, can't say we will be back to this one specifically. Happy drinking!

Cafe was small but enough to cater to the locals. Coffee and croissant was tasty but not totally raving for an okay local coffee shop

We got the Banter Bowl, which includes pickled carrot, cabbage, watermelon radish, cucumber, edamame, avocado, quinoa, and miso ponzu dressing. You have a choice of meats, so we chose the grilled chicken. Second, we ordered the falafel bowl that includes three falafels, pickled onions, avocado, cucumber, whipped garlic feta, kale salad, romesco, and Za'atar dressing that had a delicious flavor. However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. The next time I'm back, I will be sure to reorder the Thai crunch wrap. If you have food allergies, they are extremely accommodating and have numerous vegan/vegetarian/GF.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water.
