Balsamic avocado toast nicely adorned with a fresh touch of salad just the right size with a cup of coffee. La Salmon omelette has an almost frittata consistency with more of a baked exterior with soft interior cream cheese asparagus and smoked salmon, enjoyed the choice of salad with my omelette. Le Coffee Shop was a delicious brunch fare, with French style decor and menu selections. I stopped by at 11am on a Saturday with a friend, and there was already a long line out the door. Luckily, the workers are courteous and efficient, clearing tables so that customers are able to dine in relatively fast. I had their Crepe Au Sucre, and it was deceptively filling. I loved the texture and small crunch from the sugar, with a vanilla bean cream and lemon topping to cut through the sweetness. Simple, yet divine and executed well 5/5. Their Pistachio Matcha Tea Latte was to die for!!! I've had a lot of matcha lattes even in Japan, but I liked how bold and present the pistachio flavor was and it melded with the matcha base nicely. 6/5, went in not expecting much and came out blissfully happy I ordered this drink. First time I came here with my friend and didn't like the feel of things and it seemed like the setup (layout) of things was not what we felt up for so we left. Today, my husband and I came here because deep down I wondered about this place since they have good ratings. Basically, we ordered the food at the counter at one unit and we sat indoor two units down. It's awkward because it's not all together one unit. And when I need more coffee I step outside and walk two doors down to my left and refill my coffee myself. It's not convenient and relaxing. I want someone to serve me coffee and maybe get more napkins from them but nope. So basically, they bring me my food and take away my empty plate...very minimal service. The food is good and has restaurant quality but the set up is a no no for me. My husband ordered a club sandwich ($19) and I ordered a salmon salad ($16). Food was good quality and well made. For 11 days in a row I went here for morning croissants and lattes during the election cycle. Thanks to a Yelp search and enticing photos I knew this was the real deal, and it definitely is across the board! First, I want to thank each and every employee, barista, and the wonderful owner for their outstanding service, warmth, and demeanor each and every morning, especially at opening. What was my favorite? That's really a tough call because everything I tried was first-rate. The butter croissants are definitely the entry point. Then the almond croissant, and that chocolate croissant... tré excellence!! Every latte was superbly constructed, the espresso wasn't bitter, and my sandwich reheated perfectly one day. I've been coming to this restaurant for several years because the food is genuinely excellent. If this review were based solely on the quality of the breakfast, I'd gladly give it five stars. Unfortunately, the service has consistently been the opposite. For years I've avoided leaving a negative review, hoping things would improve, but they haven't. The staff has repeatedly come across as rude, dismissive, impatient, and unnecessarily aggressive. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy, and that has too often been missing. What has been most disappointing is that, as a person of color, I've left on more than one occasion feeling that I was treated differently than other customers. Whether intentional or not, that perception matters, and it has made what should be an enjoyable dining experience feel uncomfortable. Seeing signs stating that the business is not racist only made me wonder why they felt the need to post them in the first place. I continue to return because I truly enjoy the food, but great food doesn't excuse poor customer service. Management needs to invest as much effort into creating a welcoming, respectful environment as they do into their menu. I sincerely hope they address these issues because this restaurant has the potential to be exceptional. read more

Everything started off good, we ordered breakfast dishes and the LAST apple turnover. We paid & sat down. They brought our breakfast dishes and we told them we also ordered an apple turnover the waitress said ok & walk away. We waited and several minutes and several servers passed by and no apple turnover. It wasn't until I walked up to the cashier and asked about the apple turnover that they said "Yeah, we sold it, sorry." They asked if I wanted to buy something else, I said no and honestly I felt like we should have been offered something for free or a free turnover at another visit, or at the very least been more apologetic but these kids just looked at me like I was an annoyance. Almost like they were hoping we would forget that we ordered it. Our bill was over 50.00 and we paid them a 15% tip. We love the food, it never disappoints. Tried this coffee/bistro for the first time. It's in Old Town Temecula so the parking can be very difficult. We parked about a block away. There is a separate door to go in and order your drink and food. Then you take your number to a table and you can sit either outside or inside in a room that is a few doors down. The girl that took our order was not very friendly. She seemed very put out by questions we asked her and never smiled. However, the food was very good. Besides the photos I have here, we also got a chocolate croissant and it was very good. It was flaky and crispy on top. My mushroom quiche was loaded with mushrooms and the dressing on my side salad was light and delicious. The crepe was filled with berries and tasted delicious.
