    THE Dress!
    Ginger B.

Wow this business is extremely shady. Yesterday after I posted my review a woman called me to "shake me down" and try to convince me to remove my review, offering me free dress preservation. No thanks! Of course I have "receipts" for what happened with my dress, please see attached. As you can see, my receipt does not separate how much I paid for the dress itself vs what was tax or "other charges". It just has a total amount. It should say, for example Dress (make and model) $2900. "Shipping and Handling". $311.38 Tax: $253.75 Total: $3465.13 Then at the point of signing I could have said wait, what's this bogus shipping and handling charge? Interestingly enough, the woman who called me yesterday told me there was no such thing as a shipping and handling charge. So this shows that the company was lying. If that's the case, the receipt should have shown that I was paying almost $3200 for the dress instead of $2900 and then had the tax listed as a separate item and then the total and I would have caught that too, and said wait a minute, you told me you were selling me the dress for $2900. It's their goal to purposely hide the breakdown of what you're paying for so all the purchaser sees is the total cost, and in all the excitement after a glass of celebratory champagne you think that must be the tax when it's not. One thing I will say is that you didn't cheat me out of $1000, after further review and calculations you cheated me out of a few hundred dollars. My bad. Also if you look at the attached invoice the next to the last sentence you will see that it was their business practice to not divulge the brand and model of the dress. My dress definitely did not have the brand on the hanging straps or anything. The way I found it out is by making a personal call to the lady who sold me the dress to find out the brand. I made sure to slip it into my emails in case there were any issues with getting an authentic dress. I do hope you have changed that practice. What's interesting is that I was originally trying to leave you all a balanced review and mention both the good with the bad. Defensive much? Now that you've called me and tried to bribe me and then when I declined, left this crazy unprofessional response denying the truth which I actually have in black and white, I cannot even partially recommend your business. Also now that the woman calling me said that there is no such thing as shipping and handling charges, I went from suspecting you all were cheaters to KNOWING you all are cheaters. Please do refer this to law enforcement so that I can expose your fraudulent business practices.

My bridal experience was absolutely the worst with this company.  I purchased a wedding dress on Oct 30th and paid 50% down. I'll try to make this short but it's impossible when a lot is needed to be said.   The day of my appointment I was taken in promptly and was told to choose about 5 dresses to try on.  While trying on my first dress, the stylist and also manager "Danny" immediately advised I should not look further since I liked it. I asked to try the other ones too. After liking the last dress, Danny started to act very pushy and persistent about choosing this dress. The sales pressure was definitely evident. No pictures were allowed but my friend was able to get some photos quickly as Danny said it was ok but looked bothered. While deciding, Danny walks out with "I said yes to the dress" sign and moments later comes out with champagne to celebrate. What??? I did not even say yes to the dress yet!!  I felt emotionally distraught at this time and I felt pressured. I kept telling him the dress was over my budget and he offered a slight discount for the veil. While I was trying to take a picture with the "sign" he kept rushing us to go to the counter to sign the contract. He then comes and took the sign off my hand and takes it to the counter. Long story short, I signed the contract and I found it very sketchy.  I didn't even get to ask questions about it since he assured me he would answer via email. He then took another bride that was waiting. I went home super stressed about the decision I had made and needed a moment to put my questions together for him.     I called the next business day to try to cancel because I was not happy with my decision. I called the store and spoke with "Bet" who seemed very naïve and simply said "Give me your phone # and I will call you back sweety" cutting me off.  I never received a call back. Finally I got tired and asked to please get the name of the designer since I had at least paid half of the dress already. They won't disclose the name until paid in full which is a red flag. I thought to myself, oh nice they at least told me the designer "Calla Blanche". Thank you! It is very sketchy that the designer of the dress is not disclosed to the customer. How do I assure that l am receiving a designer gown? None of this was explained to me the day of my appointment.   On November 3rd, I received a message from Danny and we started exchanging messages in regards to my concerns. I expressed my feelings about the dress and he replied with judgmental answers stating I was being too hard on myself and that everyone loved the gown completely ignoring my request.  As a business manager, his job is to cater to the customer and find a solution.  Instead he tries to convince me to keep the gown. At this point I felt stuck. Since he offered to possibly exchange the veil if I didn't like it I had made up my mind to just stay with the dress and suck it up.  I also asked for my copy of my invoice again and instead received someone else's invoice. At this point I realized the customer service was definitely not their priority. I do understand I signed a contract but honestly things could've been different if they kindly offered me to come back to the store and try the dress again and answer all my concerns in person. Just like they "breached" their contract by disclosing the name they could've sympathize with me and given me a refund if they wanted to. This whole process is emotional and any bride can agree. After emailing him regarding the cancellation request he replies with "This is out last correspondence regarding your question for cancellation. Based on your contract the sale is final and cannot be cancelled. For further questions please consult your attorney." Regardless of their contract this place doesn't care about anyone's feelings.  They are so quick to tell you to go get an attorney. Ridiculous!! Even after I paid them $1800!! Honestly I was deciding already to keep the dress. I asked him to please send me a picture of my dress at least. He did send me half trunk picture of my dress.    I wanted to add some stuff to my dress and none of this was addressed during my appt. How hard is it to give me your time and discuss. This is supposed to be my wedding dress.  My biggest fear was to receive a messed up order. When I would call the store Danny wouId answer the phone sometimes and tell me ′′l have other brides to help, you′re not the only one′′ or "You′re making a big deaI just for a dress". He is condescending and hostile towards his customers. I cannot imagine giving this person and company my business and not have a trustworthy relationship. I attempted to work things out but instead I received hostility.  I stopped giving payments and right away I received a messaged stating that I would be sent to collections if I didn't pay. Insane, they are so quick to get my money but won't even answer my questions about my purchase.    See attached pictures for continued review.

UPDATE 3!!! Took my dress purchased from Le Marriage in today (NOT to Le Marriage) to see about what alterations i need done for my up coming wedding in May... MY DRESS HAD ALREADY BEEN ALTERED!!! After my fitting my seamstress turned my dress inside out and the inside seams had ALREADY BEEN LET OUT!! This means that Le Marriage LET OUT MY SEAMS in an attempt to charge me MORE MONEY FOR ALTERATIONS!! BRIDE BEWARE!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!! Not sure how to respond to a comment on yelp to the owner so here it is, at least you got my name right this time. The fact that again you are bringing up my weight is mind blowing seeing as you are defending words that you were not present for and you have never met me! It was a good try to back track out and take my words out of context. Of course i signed off because I am not a seamstress and did not know to turn my dress inside out to check the stitching, as I'm sure most first time brides don't know. Sad that you want to try and defend yourself still when i receive messages from other brides that have been in your store with similar horrible experiences. I really hope karma catches up quick. Also i will post pictures of my seams that were taken out... it was human error not a manufacturing defect.

This is the weirdest and worst bridal boutique I have ever been to. My first experience here was back in 2019. The saleswoman, Nara, was helpful selecting dresses but kind of rude about my budget and I felt rushed to get out of there, but she was nice enough so I let it go. Red flag #1 was when they told us we were not allowed to take pictures or videos of the dresses when I had them on. This is so strange! After going to 8 other bridal shops before this one where they encouraged pictures, I was thoroughly confused. Second red flag was not having the names of the dress designers on the dress. When I was trying on these dresses I had no idea what brand I was wear or if it was even authentic. Hopefully they have changed this in the past 2 years but I cannot confirm. I put down a $500 deposit on the dress, and after doing so received info that the dress was Allure Couture. I basically felt like I had to pay a deposit to find out the designer that I was buying. I was annoyed, so I went on a used wedding gown shop online and found the exact dress for under a thousand. Of course I buy it. I then go to Le Marriage corporate to ask for a refund. They decline and say I have to use the $500 credit at their store. To be fair, I was aware that it was non refundable. Annoying? Yes. But no wrong doing here. Anyways, fast forward almost 2 years after a covid postponed wedding and I reluctantly come back to this place to use the credit on a veil. The sales associate, (Megan?) was not helpful in the slightest. I showed her my dress asked her for help picking a veil that would match. She basically told me to go pick some out. Then, I told her I might want a hair piece and asked her opinion on what might look good. She just kept saying "well it's up to you. What do you want". I kept trying to explain that I wasn't sure and wanted to see some ideas. Eventually, one of my friends said "where are the accessories, I'll go pull some pieces for you". On top of that, I had told her I had a $500 credit and wanted to stay under that. Every veil she showed me, besides one, was over $500. Some even above $1,000. I finally picked the most simple veil there was and it was still $575. I politely tried to see if I could get a discount and the sale associate smirked and the main guy basically said no it's already marked down if you can't afford this one then buy a different one. I was frustrated and didn't want to be out $500 so I bought it. It's hard to convey the attitude of the sales people via a review. But they are the opposite of warm. Very standoffish, rude, "I'm better than everyone else" sort of attitude. The way I felt in this store was so different than how I felt in every other bridal boutique. I have waited so long to write this review in fear that they would retaliate and not honor my $500 credit. Then, I was scared they would not send me my veil or something crazy. These people are shady. I do not trust them and I'm so happy to be done with this store. I have received my veil so now I'm finally posting this long awaited review. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. They have the same exact designer gowns at other bridal stores. *update. Added proof of their sketchy policy about not disclosing the designer until customer purchases item. This was on the "contract of sale" they made me sign. Oh and additionally, the $575 veil was not even packaged up in a box when picked up. It was literally draped over a hanger... no tag no box no designer name. Pretty certain they stuck a long piece of mesh over and hanger and slapped a price tag on it

Bridal consultant, never gave us her name lol

I did not have a great experience here and would definitely read the negative reviews before you decide to visit here; I did the same and still tried to give this establishment a chance and the same things that the people that wrote the negative reviews were saying was similar to what I experienced... First off, i felt completely pressured into buying a dress. Im not sure if it was because we were literally the only clients there or if it was because she was trying to make a sale but the amount of pressure I felt was ridiculous. It was almost like they bully you into buying from them! The bride consultant (who never gave me her name but go ahead and see the picture) knew I wasnt feeling the dresses she had picked and everytime she rudely ask what was the matter with the dress. My whole group felt judged, maybe because they cater to people that look a certain way and maybe it looks like we didnt have money, but we have money & I was ready to pay my dress in FULL that day. I wasnt happy with how I was treated, was not feeling the bridal consultant's attitude, & how the dress were being pushed on me so I got dressed thanked them and gracefully left! Glad I left the place and visited Luv Bridal where the service was 5 stars & said yes to the dress there.

Note repaired button loops sewn back with white thread, instead of ivory. Such poor quality repairs on a dress that's supposed to be NEW.

This review is long overdue. Please read the negative reviews before you visit.. This place will lie to you in order to get their way. I 100% wish I could take back the thousands of dollars that I spent here and give it to another deserving business. I bought 2 dresses and a veil for a total of $6,100 back in February. I went into the store last month to pick up my items. The store gave me a completely different veil than from what I ordered. It was wrinkly, and damaged (had a big rip). The older male manager (owner?) and sales associate were unapologetic, refused to give me a refund, and seemed clueless as to what the item code on my invoice referenced. I sent them a photo of the veil I ordered and he told me that they would get back to me the following business day. Two days later, the business asked that I send them more photos of the veil. However, I did not have any since Le Marriage Couture limits you to 1 - 2 photos MAX for every dress that you try on. 10 days go by and I don't hear anything. I continue to reach out and finally, they wrote back telling me they've emailed me twice (I have not received ANY calls or emails, even checked my Junk mailbox). They proceeded to say, "We found your veil", and sends me photos of a random veil as if I would not know the difference!! Please look at the images I attached. I asked again for a refund or else I would dispute the charge with my credit card company and finally, they asked for my credit card information to process the refund, but again, without any apologies for all the inconveniences and the mistake on their end. I'm SHOCKED at the horrific level of customer service (especially the older male) that this place provides. There are way better bridal shops who care about their customer's satisfaction. Le Marriage Couture lied about emailing me and lied about finding my veil. This type of business does not deserve any of your hard earned money.

    What is the Average price?

I cannot give you the average price of all the dresses in the store buy dress was $2506 with tax included. I told them my price range was 1500- 2500 and had plenty of options to choose from. In addition they seem to have a lot of truck shows which…

Do they have black wedding dresses?

Hi Mikayla, I personally didn't see any black dresses in the store. But I'm sure they could probably order it from the designer if you were to ask.

Do they allow children to come to the appointments? My budget is $2,000 max. Would I stand a chance here?

I brought my daughter almost every time starting at 1 and a half years old. They are great there and I got my dress for $2200 and alterations were $850. I would recommend having alterations done there because for example no one in my town would know…

I was guided to an upstairs hallway with loose organization, was told I could only pick several dresses, and then I only had 30min in a dressing room (I still had a attentive shared staff member to help me get into things). This all worked out totally fine for me, and is a pretty normal sample sale experience in LA, but you should know this going into it! I am an experienced sample sale girlie, but it was also my very first wedding dress place, so the item and time limit made me sweat, especially not yet knowing exactly what I wanted. I tried on three dresses, loved two, and bought my wedding dress here - yes, the first place I went - and ADORED it. 10/10 would do it again. The staff member helping me was awesome - she split her time well, and was a hype woman without being pushy or fake. They wrapped up the dress just as nicely as it I'd bought it full price, and even asked if I wanted to take a "said yes to the dress" photo. The dress was just under $800 after tax, and the other one I loved was just under $900. It needed a little work - the straps were dirty and loosely seen in some places, an aglet was missing, and the lace needed a steam badly. Overall, however, extremely worth it! I am so happy I came here & found my dream dress.

I wrote…read morethe glowing review below after my initial fitting because Alen made me feel so heard after being burnt out from dress shopping, and I even tipped generously on top of it. I wish I could say the experience held up, but it hasn't. At my dress fitting, I discovered sleeves on my dress that I was never told about or agreed to. They weren't even written in my notes, so there was no record of the changes that were actually promised to me. Things I was told would be included just weren't there. At this point, the dress isn't what I said yes to, and honestly I'm not sure I'll even wear it. On top of that, my pick-up appointment was scheduled for a day they were closed. I drove in from Orange County only to find out when I got there. I've since tried multiple times to schedule a new appointment through text, including messages that were never answered at all. I really wanted this to be the happy ending my first review described, but between the undocumented changes to my dress and the communication breakdown since, I can't recommend this experience the way I did before.

Everything felt very prepared for my appointment, I didn't feel rushed or limited. What surprised me the most & really impressed me and my fiancé was the way they were both attentive, kind, professionals and knew their styles. They picked a dress out for me on top of the dresses I had in mind and at the end of the appointment I left picking their recommendation because that's how amazing of an eye and taste for bridal fashion they have. How talented is it to know a brides taste and look without the bride even knowing herself. I was truly blown away by their selection. The gowns I tried on were all Maggie Sottero and all gorgeous. Parking is easy to find with street /meter parking or a few parking lots nearby. We said yes to the dress thanks to Esmeralda and America, we can't thank a better dream team ! They will go far in the bridal world especially how they made our dress shopping a dreamy experience.

Horrible experience from the moment I walked in…read more My mom and I walked in smiling, excited for my bridal appointment. Instead of being welcomed, the front desk staff laughed, and one of them asked, "What are you doing here?" I replied, "I have an appointment," and they all laughed again. Looking back, I should have walked out then, but I decided to give them a chance. I was told I had to wait because no one was available to help me, even though there were four staff members standing at the front. I was told to look through the racks for dresses while I waited. Since it was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, I didn't know the process. Later, I noticed signs everywhere saying not to walk through the aisles, so my mom and I stood to the side and waited. After about 20 minutes, someone finally came to help us. She immediately asked which dresses I wanted to try on. I explained that I had no idea because this was my first bridal appointment and I was hoping for some guidance. She seemed visibly annoyed. She pulled a few dresses, and one of them was absolutely beautiful--I genuinely loved it. However, the overall attitude made me uncomfortable. At one point, she told me the dress was around $5,000 and then asked, "Can you afford it?" I replied, "Yes, I can." After that, I noticed other staff members gathering around and suddenly walking by to compliment how beautiful the dress looked on me. It felt very insincere. Even though I loved the dress, I decided not to purchase it. Buying a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I didn't feel confident moving forward with a boutique where I felt unwelcome and judged. I politely ended my appointment and left. As I was walking out, I heard one of the employees say, "I told you they weren't going to buy it." That confirmed I had made the right decision. Thankfully, I found my dream dress at a wonderful bridal boutique in Costa Mesa, where I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine excitement. The difference in customer service was night and day. Every bride deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

The moment I met Angel she made me feel so comfortable and never pressured to purchase from her. My friends and I browsed in her shop until I found my dream dress that she designed. She took my measures and created a gorgeous bridal gown and veil. I am still getting compliments to this day. My dress was affordable but custom and nothing I have seen before! Also she gives you free alterations which I'm grateful for because I lost alot of unexpected weight due to the wedding planning process. Angel is a very busy woman so occasionally she was slow to respond to calls and messages. Besides that I can honestly say I'm so glad I chose Lucky Brides.

The short version is, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. The end product was satisfactory, but not without several mistakes and unnecessary stress. Be prepared to be on TOP of the associates as the communication is nonexistent otherwise. While Angel was lovely, her sales associates need training. I wish I could have corresponded with Angel directly, as her associates seemed to not know what was going on/did not communicate. On 8/31/24, I said yes to the dress after having exhausted 6-7 bridal shops in Phoenix. I finally felt a sense of relief. I paid in FULL that day. I signed the paperwork for my dress to be ready in March 2025, two months before my wedding. The next steps were for Yesenia to send a sketch of my dress based on the designs I wanted, within a few weeks. I waited several weeks and when I didn't get anything, I reached out to Enoch (who is no longer with them). He assured me he would get on Yesenia to send the sketch. I didn't get A sketch until 11/20/24, nearly 3 months after I had already paid for my dress, and it wasn't even a sketch of my dress! I didn't get a sketch of MY dress until 11/25/24 and it looked like something she drew in 5 minutes. Very anticlimactic. After A LOT of back and forth on the finer details, I asked if the dress was ready to START production on 12/5/24. I received no response. I sent another email on 12/9/24, no response. I finally booked a flight to LA and SHOWED UP IN PERSON on 12/14 and Yesenia looked surprised to see me. She stated that she had responded production had already started on my dress, and she had sent an email but it must not have gone through. OKAY. I started emailing her again in February asking about the status of my dress: 2/3, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1. 3/1 Yesenia stated she would send me photos of my dress and book my first fitting. She never did send me photos of my dress. I had my first fitting on 3/16/25. I was expecting for all my fittings and the dress to be finalized by this point, but I was just happy there was a dress at all. The leg slit I had asked to be on the right side, was on the left side instead. Because of the way the dress was designed, it could not easily be fixed. They did not apologize for the error at any point. They did offer to REMAKE the dress, however, with my wedding less than 2 months away (5/8/25) and the TERRIBLE communication, I did not want to take that stress or risk. I had also asked for pearl buttons on the overskirt but received satin buttons. Yesenia replied that production had responded on 2/24 (to her) that pearls cost extra; at no point had she communicated this to me. She stated she would have them swapped out for the pearl buttons. On 3/27/25, I sent all the photos of the details I wanted for my veil to Yesenia. Admittedly, there were a lot of details- I wanted a cathedral veil, scallop trim with beaded edge, and for our names and the date to be embroidered. Knowing my wedding date, and that I had to leave the COUNTRY at the beginning of May, Yesenia could have prefaced that all these details would take a month+ to make- but she never stated any sort of time frame. In April, I asked if the original alterations were completed on my dress. Lots of unanswered texts. I had my 2nd fitting on 4/26, the WEEKEND before I was leaving the COUNTRY for my wedding. Luckily the dress came together, even though the leg slit was wrong. The veil was not ready for me to take home that day. Yesenia stated she could have it shipped for $8 or next day shipping for $33. I stated that I would not be paying for shipping over text, and I reiterated this again during the 2nd fitting. She agreed to wave the cost. The veil shipped on 4/28 and I received it on 4/30, a mere 3 days before leaving the country. Luckily the veil was beautiful, albeit the embroidery was smaller than I expected- but everything was spelled correctly (a point I reiterated multiple times via text). At the end of the day, everything turned out OKAY but it certainly was unnecessarily stressful and unenjoyable. I didn't have the dress of my dreams (because of the leg slit on the wrong side- and I didn't utilize the leg slit on the left side) which is crushing when you're promised it and PAYING for it. I don't recommend Lucky Brides for your peace of mind.

The worst part is their return policy. I have to pay to ship it back to Asia, then there is a 20% restocking fee, and another $5 fee for something else. I will never order anything from them again, and I do not recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Anita's Bridal Boutique!…read more We had the most incredible experience at Anita's Bridal Boutique in Los Angeles. From the moment we walked in, the staff made everything feel special -- they even served bubbly while my wife tried on dresses, which set the tone for such a fun and memorable day. A huge thank‑you to Jhocelyn ,who was amazing from start to finish. She listened, guided, and helped my wife find *the* dress -- the one that made her light up the second she stepped into it. And Jose, the manager, truly went above and beyond. He made sure the dress was tailored perfectly and ready for our big day, and his attention to detail made us feel completely taken care of. My wife loved the boutique so much she also picked up one of their super cool custom denim jackets with heart cutouts, lace overlay, pearls, and "bride" on the back. Such a unique piece and the perfect keepsake. And the dress... I'll never forget the moment I saw her walking down the aisle. She's already stunning, but in that dress, it felt like watching all four seasons unfold at once -- absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't have imagined a better experience. If you're looking for a boutique that treats you like family and makes the entire process seamless and unforgettable, Anita's is the place.
