Went to Le Peep on a Tuesday morning. The food was "meh" and the service was not great. Someone ordered a tuna melt in my party, thinking it would be hot. It was not, and the cheese wasn't even melted. The server brought us toast to put the tuna melt on, so it would be "hot", but it was just awkward and weird. I really would have preferred to stay home and cook myself breakfast. read more

The dish I ordered (skillet) came with two eggs. I asked for one scrambled and one medium. I was told that they couldn't cook my eggs two different ways. I've never visited a sit down breakfast restaurant that refused to cook your eggs as requested. The reasoning given to me was the owner refuses the staff to honor these requests. This is taking "no substitutions " on the menu a bit far. read more

Granted they were very busy on a Sunday, but I was less than impressed. The bacon was so hard and dry so as to be inedible. The fried potatoes were super dry and tasteless. My English muffin was burnt. My granddaughter did not get the apples she ordered on her French toast. I had to remind the server I had ordered cheese on the potatoes. I was here last weekend on Sunday. This restaurant was okay, nothing great. The hostess were great along with our server however, I noticed a few things. The hostess at the front seemed very busy and overworked. As I was paying, the hostess was trying to balance phone calls, seating people, etc. A woman with curly hair and glasses (might have been the owner) came up to host stand and did not help, rather make things worse. I just want to say that our waitress was really sweet and the service was good! My complaint is really with the food. We had two people in our party order eggs Benedict, and the yolks were completely cooked... Like it's supposed to be poached eggs, and they were.. well done. On the avocado Bennie, there was one little slice of avocado on each piece of bread. Small, sad little slices. Like the one on my pesto breakfast sandwich. There was a tiny piece of avocado, some weird little spot of goat cheese and barely any pesto. It was the saddest looking sandwich. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the food was so disappointing :( read more

Just left Le Peep what a utter disappointment. I understand it's hard to find help but when you sit there for 20 minutes before they take your order then wait almost 25 minutes and your food comes out cold give me a break. Inflation has prices so high Im fine with the wait but at least let the food be warm. Then the owner/manager walks the check and just drops it on the table with no apology, how can you expect your own employees to have a service level when you don't as the leader of your establishment??? read more

Staff are all over the place but food is fantastic. This Sunday, one of what seemed to be a manager was chit chatting with a customer the entire time we were dining while the rest of her staff were running around like crazy unable to refill our drinks or get us condiments or utensils we asked for. In regard to the food, I highly recommend the California crepe any of their skillets. They also have the tastiest cornflake French toast and it's delicious if you pair it with a cafe Vienna. I would gladly give this place 5 stars but management needs to get their act together and help out the rest of their staff members. read more

I don't understand the poor reviews of this place? We've been 5-6 times and haven't been disappointed at all. From their regular menu item to their seasonal specials, we've tried several didn't items and everything has been good. Service is always friendly and attentive as well. I'm very dissatisfied with the service received at this location today. We come this this location almost every week and I get the same item Cobb Salad. Today hardly any tomatoes or cheese on salad. The hard boiled egg wasn't completely cooked. When I requested more cheese the manager charged me for it when it essence hardly no cheese was on the salad. I should have taken a picture of it. She was a little rude this time. When in essence to resolve the problem was just to fix my salad appropriately. On several occasions the avocado was left off. They usually don't have a problem with bring it. But this time it was the manage who didn't resolve this issue. I think we will take a break from returning. This is the second time we dined. The food is very fresh and good, need to pay attention to detail however. My Cobb salad was ample in size but the eggs were missing, or they were just chopped so fine I could not see them. Also our juice was charged at the large price while a small was served. Our silverware finally came but only after I had to use a straw to stir my coffee. I know it's a new restaurant and there are so many good things like the food which is the best feature. Went there today and such a disappointing experience. My moms food was cold, my dad and sons eggs were made wrong...I asked for a particular salad and was brought the wrong salad as aa side and when I told her what I ordered she then told me I could not get that kind as a side...after it had came. Manager said in fact that I could. When they remade my dad and soms eggs over easy, the white part was not done at all. Manager even said it was not cooked. Gave us 30% off for "out troubles" left still hungry. Had a 30 minute wait as well which is fine if the food is right and worth it. read more

Came here hoping for an elevated breakfast affair. Menu sounded really good, but when the food came out it was basic at best. Food wasn't bad, it was just basic and something I could have gotten from anywhere. The Le Peep at the Indian Land location was a hit! We arrived, and were greeted and immediately seated by a lovely host. We received our menus, and felt comfortable and at home. Everything was clean, and presentable. The food was great, everything was cooked to perfection. The pancakes were fluffy and the French toast was moist, the eggs were runny and potatoes were very good. Everyone seemed happy to be there, however we had a poor mannered server. The servers around us, gave us smiles and made sure we were okay. On the other hand, our own server, did not check up on us, didn't refill our glasses, treated us inferior and separated our checks when we weren't even asked. We waited for our checks for 15 minutes while she had a conversation with her coworkers. Everything was perfect, and we will be back for more! I am a senior citizen who has frequented the Arboretum location of Le Peep for more than 10 years. When the new location opened I wanted to visit it just to see if it was up to the same standard. My opinion is that it most definitely is. I have seen a number of negative reviews on this site. Recognizing that the restaurant business is probably one of the most difficult businesses there is I would suggest that those who wrote negative reviews cut them a little slack. In fact I'll bet that those who wrote negative reviews are very much the same way about everything else in their lives. You know they are the people who look at the glass & see it as half empty not half full. These are the same crotchety old people who are chronic complainers. To them I say "stay home!" One word, fantastic!!! The staff greets you with a huge smile are there to make your experience there exceptional. I've visited pre-Covid and during Covid, and their attitude remains upbeat and the atmosphere, food quality and quantity to my liking.
