This amazing breakfast/lunch/brunch restaurant has all the breakfast classics that you could want, prepared perfectly with some awesome additions that make you want to return. Number one on that list for me is the gooey buns. These delectable bites of perfection are English muffins covered in butter and cinnamon sugar and topped with slivers of almonds before being broiled. Holy cow - these are the best things EVER. I watched a manager treat their host like crap while providing a customer a discount - poor treatment of their employees - culture is le pooooo. I absolutely love this location! My roommate has been coming here for a while and finally took me with her. She definitely converted me into a fan! Our server was attentive and gave us some recommendations off the menu. I completely forgot her name, sorry! We got a few different options, including a skillet, enchiladas and the dollar pancakes. First off let me just say these pancakes are some of the best I've ever had and they're so cheap! I had a skillet with sweet potato, vegetables and meat. The sweet potatoes are more like fries, but they're really delicious and not greasy. My roommate had the enchiladas and said they were so good that's probably all she will ever order again from them! So I'll have to sneak a bite of hers next time! The decor itself is completely my style too. Very farmhouse themed. I also recommend going during the week to avoid the louder, busy weekend crowds. We'll definitely be back to try more yummy menu items! read more

Let me just start this review with a purpose as to why I ended up here. I tried my luck at a restaurant down the street called flapjacks. Needless to say, they failed miserably. Everything was so underwhelming, I left before eating the food order they screwed up. I took one bite of their bland and cold biscuits and gravy which took 20 minutes and decided I would spend my money elsewhere. I took a trip down the street to this place, and every aspect was phenomenal. I was greater than immediately, visited by my waitress immediately, and the food came out very quickly and as I asked it to be prepared. If you have a choice between these two places, it's a no-brainer. These guys are firing on all cylinders. If you're tired of giving your money to companies that don't deserve it, you have a choice. Le Peep os serving up some delicious breakfast with creative flare. I've been here twice so far, both times for breakfast. They have the usual breakfast favorites with dishes for meat eaters, non-meat eaters and kids dishes alike. They also offer lunch until about 2pm. My review at the time of writing is based on breakfast experience. Le Peep has created a modern open air feel seating space with courteous and attentive staff. The dishes served up are prepared with care as the presentation as well taste prove they take pride in what and how they serve the customers. The atmosphere during early as well late breakfast times are calm and peaceful. For your sweet tooth - churro French toasts are not to be missed. The crepe are pretty good. Honestly don't know what the hype is about when it comes to this place. Seen this advertised on insta & decided to go based off pics and vids. The food was nasty asfff. I got the stuffed French toast & the filling they used was gritty with NO flavor, bacon & eggs were MID. Grits had an awful taste to it, it's like they made it with sewer water) no flavor whatsoever. The only thing that tasted good was the potatoes. Paid $25 for this nasty sh!t ...Don't know how this place is in business. Will not be returning!!! Le Peep just opened! I like avocado toast and I really had a dilemma at Le Peep because there were three different ways to get it. I opted for the breakfast sandwich which had avocado and eggs but also sautéed spinach and pesto. It was delicious. They also have an espresso bar which is nice at breakfast. Great breakfast spot! We arrived on a weekend and we're able to get seated right away for a party of two. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available. Our server was friendly and attentive and got our drink orders right away. They have a few fall specials and I was excited to try them out. Nothing really special about this place other than conveniently located for the upscale apartments behind their restaurant. The coffee reminded me of IHOP. I gave 4 stars because the place is clean. Not crowded at all at 9:30am. At these prices I would expect a garnish like an orange slice and the biscuits cut in half before covering with gravy. Gourmet jelly and whipped butter would be nice. Staff friendly & efficient . The restaurant is pretty. I had the Rock lobster scramble which was very good. My husband had biscuits with gravy, two eggs and potatoes. His biscuits were hard on the bottom, his comment " nothing fluffy about these biscuits " The gravy was very good. The eggs were to be poached, arrived over easy. He ate them anyway and said they were perfectly cooked. The potatoes seem out of a bag, nugget hash browns. We would sub the hash browns next time. Loved the pitcher of water on table. I'll start on a high note. The entire staff is friendly, informative and helpful. It goes downhill from there. I'm on gluten free diet and LePeep boasted online about how delicious their gluten free items were. The restaurant has a very cool look to it. Dark, but in a good way. The extensive menu was impressive until I found that there were few gluten free options. I had the gf stuffed French Toast. It claimed to be dipped in custard. It looked and tasted like two pieces of toast with a little ricotta cheese inside. It wasn't warm or feel remotely like the description. It was very dry and flavorless. It needs work. My husband ordered eggs, bacon, potatoes and a Belgian Waffle (which he ordered with gluten). He said that everything arrived cold, but he liked the waffle. So maybe this is a good restaurant, but not a great gluten free place. read more

Stopped by around noon on a Sunday. There were tables open but they did say that there would be a 10-15 minute wait. With Covid there are shortages with staff, I get it and appreciated them not over working the staff. Speaking of the wait staff, solid. One thing I judge them on is if I have to ask to refill my drink or if they get it before then. Well, they were on queue. The atmosphere is nice, can be a little loud if there are lots of people because there are lots of hard surfaces. The food was good as well. Mine came out as ordered. I am picky about my scrambled eggs and they did them right. The peasant potatoes are were not very seasoned so I had to salt/pepper them to taste but that is a minor thing. Now the icing on the cake was the butter on the pancakes. It was fluffy, soft and easily spreadable. Admit it, you have gotten a stack of fluffy pancakes in the past with a scoop of rock hard butter before elsewhere. You basically need a blow torch to melt it. Not an issue here. Overall I liked the meal and the decor. Parking could be a little scarce so you may need to park in the rear. read more

Le peep is a cute breakfast place along Hillsborough rd. It is similar to many breakfast places in terms of southern feels in decor. The place is a decent size and has outdoor seating availability. I ordered the monte cristo crepe, they gave me a great amount. The flavors of sweet and savory was amazing. Their breakfast potatoes were kinda salty but balance the crepe flavors. I had to bring it home because it was too much to eat. They also offer a a variety of coffee which is the first time I seen at a chain restaurant. I would definitely be coming back! read more
